Lunch is where I struggle. What to send with the kids. What to pack for myself. This cookbook was clean and pretty. I loved the choices, and the photographs were beautiful. Some of the recipes were a little more intense than I care to spend on lunch, but overall - everything looked delicious.

Making lunch is always a hard task for me, since I never seem to know what I want to have for lunch. So this book helped a lot with getting inspired of what meals to make! I liked the recipes a lot and was motivated to make my own lunch at home!

The blurb caught my attention but after that I lost my interest and didn't read this book. Maybe next time.

Love all the creative ideas and wonderful recipes to help me achieve a better diet. I just wish my parents had this book as I grew up. Really yummy recipes.

An interesting take on a no-waste approach to food. The book has a variety of tips and tricks for embarking on a no/low waste journey as well as resources and things to explore. My preference was the recipes and photos of the recipes.

Let's Fix Lunch! focuses on lunches since (pre-COVID) lunch food containers were one of the biggest contributors to global waste. There is a list of items that help reduce waste in the kitchen as well as a guide to make ahead ingredients. We already used environmentally friendly items to take lunch (I personally came home each day) and, as an avid cook, knew how to prepare the basics so I only skimmed those sections. Then, there's a grid for how a prepped item could be incorporated into different menus each week. I liked this because I feel like lunch is generally the meal that feels like I'm in a rut, but I don't want to put forth too much prep work to make different lunches for each day. There were several recipes that I'm interested in, including ones that I would use for breakfast. Many of the recipes are simpler than what I normally cook, but this would be great for people with less cooking experience.

As a vegetarian I'm always looking for new books that add something new to this genre of books, particularly with a focus on sustainability. With luscious photos and recipes and a focus on one particular area of our day (lunch!) this book is a total winner. Easy recipes with ingredients you know - I'll for sure be coming back to it.

This was a great book with lots of fun meals to help reduce waste. For someone who is eco-friendly, this e-book would be an amazing gift!

Beautiful photo with lots of lovely presentation. I was mislead by the "planet-friendly" to mean "plant-based;" there are more meat recipes in here than I would have thought. Still, lunch is a difficult meal to get together for my family, especially during Covid, and I got some good inspiration from this cookbook.

I have definitely been in a lunch rut in the current COVID pandemic state. This cookbook brought some fresh ideas on what to make not only for lunch but many of the meal ideas could be made for dinner. Thank you for an Advanced Reader Copy.

If you're looking for healthier and eco-friendly options, Let's Fix Lunch is a great starting point. I liked that each recipe was categorized so you could easily plan. the book also includes an easy way for people to get started with reusable items.

I thought it would more of a straight-forward cookbook but I enjoyed it.

I'm moving towards eating healthier, contributing to less waste and turning to eco friendly products in the kitchen and the home. This book has helped make that process more simple and efficient. Though I'm trying to be gluten and dairy free, I found I could use substitutes in those recipes with these bothersome ingredients. It's areal helped with meal prep and planning ideas and getting started.

Let's Fix Lunch! By Kat Nouri and Stasher is more of an advertisement than a cookbook. There are some recipes that are good but only a few that are actually lunches. The book has a ton of environmental information and I guess I do not want that in my cookbooks.

***** I received an ARC from NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my honest review. *****

"This eco-friendly cookbook features delicious, waste-free recipes for sandwiches, salads, soups, snacks, and more." "A UK study identified the "lunch on the go" habit as the source of nearly 11 billion packaging waste items per year - and it's on the rise, with 65 percent more of us getting takeout and delivery compared to 5 years ago."

Each recipe is categorized as vegetarian, freezable, school-lunch friendly, make ahead or building blocks. The book start off with a list of ways that anyone can get started - reusables! .... straw, utensils, lunch bag, etc. Recipes are accompanied by full-color photos and easy to follow instructions. How does a Chicken Fajita Bowl or Act 2 Fried Rice sound? What about soup or salad and sandwich ... Pesto Chicken Sandwich or Hummus Roasted Veggie Wraps with Chicken Noodle Soup or a Cobb Salad with Chicken & Avocado Dressing? Looking for a snack? Try Apple Streusel Bars or Everything Bagel Chips. Let's stop being part of the problem and become part of the solution.

I received a complimentary advanced reader copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Let's Fix Lunch is a great idea. We as a family have been wanting more recipe ideas and this cookbook fits the bill. Lots of information about preparing plant based meals, easy-to-follow directions, great photos make this a must have for any kitchen library. A donation to No Kid Hungry with purchase makes it even better! It does read kind of like an advertisement for "Stasher" but it does have some good ideas.

I was initially attracted to this recipe book because of the bright, fresh, colourful cover! At first glance, I didn't know it was focused on litter-free lunches, but I loved that twist. There are so many great healthy options in this book, photographed beautifully, and so much more knowledge about how to package them up consciously, with the environment in mind. I love this book, and can't wait to try a few recipes!
