This was a super sweet holiday read. Three sisters return to Colorado to spend Christmas with what they believe will be the last time with their aunt. The trip comes at the perfect time for each of them as they all deal with an upheaval in their lives. They see the trip as a time to sort out the current situation with their lives as well as reconnect with one another.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. The sisters' relationship with one another was great and their aunt turned out to be a fun additional character. There is a bit of romance sprinkled throughout that was enjoyable to read. They are all staying at a snowy inn in Colorado which is a great setting for this time of year. We get to learn the backstories of not just each sister but of the aunt as well. Despite the cover, this one does deal with some difficult issues, especially infertility, so definitely heed content warnings there. In addition, this is one of those romances where everything ties up super neatly in the end.

The book reads fast and I liked it for short one-sitting read. If you are okay with a women's fiction book mashed up with a romance that ties up super easily, you may enjoy this one. I would recommend this for fans of RaeAnne Thayne.

This is a really cute small town Holiday romance. The characters are worth rooting for throughout the book. All of the side characters add to the holiday fun. I would recommend us if you are doing a Holiday read.

Home for the Holidays by Sara Richardson was a family focused, Christmas read. Three sisters have their own challenges to deal with and must do so while simultaneously navigating their dynamics. As can be expected in a Christmas read, the sisters find support in one another and find reasonable paths forward for their various issues. This is a good read...not quite Hallmark Christmas cheery, but warm, with some chances for substance and reflection.

Love the multiple pov for the sisters
They were all so different but still had such a strong bond.

I didn’t really see the love connection but the book was more about sisters and family so it didn’t bother me too much. I liked the writing and I am excited to read the next book in the series!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A perfectly Hallmarky holiday read centered around three sisters at pivotal moments in their relationships. Sweet with more depth than I expected. Really, really enjoyed it for a light, Christmas read.

Warm, story about three sisters who live in separate parts of the country, get together to spend Christmas one last time in a place they spent their youth.

When sisters, Dahlia, Magnolia, and Rose each receive a package from their Aunt Sassy in Colorado asking them to spend her last Christmas with her, they all assume that she's dying and go see her. But she's not sick.

The trip couldn't have come at a better time for each sister individually. Dahlia's acclimating herself as a divorcee. With her ex-husband taking her 2 kids to Europe with his new girlfriend for three weeks, this time with her Aunt and sisters is just what she needs.

Magnolia, has been having fertility problems and needs a break from her last disappointment. So she gets on a plane and leaves her husband for a few weeks.

Rose, who's engaged to an important family name, drops everything and leaves as well. She was having second thoughts and needed the space.

But each sister finds themselves again in the small town that they spent so much of their youth. They also find out the real reason why they were all cut off from their favorite aunt as well.

Lovely read.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS could easily be on the Hallmark Channel this holiday season. This is my first time reading Sara Richardson but it surely won’t be the last! HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS by Sara Richardson is a contemporary, romantic drama that will put you in the holiday spirit and shares with you, the value of family. Three sisters are going through some tough times as the Christmas holiday nears. They each receive a letter from their aunt that calls them to Colorado for one last Christmas. Is she dying? They have not seen their aunt in more than a decade, after a fallout with their mother, but they really don’t know what happened all those years ago. As the three meet in Colorado, they realize how much they need one another and they try to reconnect.

Dahlia is divorced with two kids, but her ex-husband relies on her a lot and expects her to pull up the slack from his own short comings. Magnolia owns a bakery and has a loving husband, but they have been experiencing infertility and it is putting a strain on their marriage. Rose, a designer is engaged to a man named Gregory who comes from a prominent and snobby family in Savannah. If she marries into this family it will surely bring her a lifetime of misery. Sara Richardson really knows how to write about family drama, heartbreak, and forgiveness. I can not wait to read more by this wonderful and heart tugging author after reading HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS. Well done Ms. Richardson, you have a new fan.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS is all about family and the past and the secrets that come out are heart tugging. It had me flipping through the pages like a woman on a mission. I had to know what was going to happen to these three sisters and all the secondary characters. HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS is a heart tugging story that will hold you hostage until the very last page. Once you start reading, it will be very hard to put down! I finished reading it with tears in my eyes, a huge lump in my throat, and a big stupid smile on my face. My emotions were all over the place.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Forever Books . All opinions expressed are my own and were voluntarily given

I loved this holiday family story. Three sisters, each at different stages in their lives, come together at their aunts cabin in Colorado. They come back together and realize how much they mean to each other and how they need each other, especially during the hard times they are living through.

The setting, the storyline, the amazing people we meet in Colorado. This is the perfect book to cuddle up on the couch with during the holiday season. I just saw that there is a sequel!! Can't wait to read it!

Thank you Netgalley, Sara Richardson and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

Three sisters with with different life situations decides to visit an aunt for the holidays after it sounds like the aunt isn't in the best shape. Dahlia is going to deal with being her kids and ex being away for the holidays leaving her alone. Magnolia has been dealing with fertility issues with her husband that's put a strain on their relationship. Rose is dealing with the stress of an overbearing future mother-in-law who is taking over everything from the wedding, to most things in the couples life and not sure what the future will hold or if she wants that.

Its amazing that I didn't pick this book up sooner. With the holidays creeping closer I wanted to find some great holiday books to get me in the mood and while reading christmasy books right now in September is a bit much its great for those who want recommendations for holiday books. So I'm going to try to set up a list of what I'd recommend and this book is defiantly going to be on that list. If you like a contemporary book that takes place during the holidays but doesn't absolutely scream christmas then you'll like to read this.

While I had a hard time at first figuring out who was who at first it was pretty clear once I got used to the characters. I loved getting to know the sisters and seeing the difficult choices that they were going to need to make. On the plus side they did get to see eachother and really support one another during the holidays, they did a bit of changing and growing up and it was just lovely to see that. There was romances here and there and this book does have clean romances which is a positive for me. Overall great book I really enjoyed it.

Dahlia, Rose and Magnolia are summoned by their aunt Sassy to spend one last Christmas with her at Juniper Inn in Colorado. As children they spent a lot of time there until their mother, Sassy's sister, stopped visiting after a falling out with Sassy.

Since their lives are in an upheaval right now the sisters all agree to visit. It's a peaceful spot that helps them realize the true meaning of love, family and friendship. A great story to kick off your holiday season!

I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions.

Home for the Holidays introduces us to three sisters as they receive an invitation to return to a place that they loved from their childhoods: the Juniper Inn, owned and run by their beloved Aunt Sassy. The invitation to visit for Christmas from their aunt is perfect timing, as each sister is dealing with personal issues in their lives. As they return to the Juniper Inn, they’re reminded of how important the bond between them is and they’ll each have the time they need to process their own circumstances and try to figure out what’s next in their lives.

This story is heartwarming in the best of way. Dahlia, Magnolia, and Rose have challenges and circumstances in their lives that are all too serious (managing the aftermath of a divorce with kids, infertility, doubts about upcoming nuptials), but those issues are handled beautifully in the story. The real highlights for me are the bond between the sisters and the quaint setting of Juniper Springs, especially at Christmastime.

I’ve loved seeing these characters grow over the course of the story and the side characters that they interact with, especially the male love interests for each of them. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the next books in the Juniper Springs series to see what’s next on the horizon for these characters.

Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the digital copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Three sisters who's lives are on the rocks. One divorced, one who wants children and the other engaged. A letter arrives from Aunt Sassy and the girls are ready to drop everything to see her. She implied her life was short. Every Summer Dahlia, Magnolia and Rose would spend time with Aunt Sassy in Juniper Springs. All the good memories came rushing back. It has opened up their hearts and feelings. For Dahlia it is letting go and allowing love enter. Magnolia is the most lost. She has been trying to get pregnant and nothing has worked. Rose is engaged to marry a man who her mother approved of. Juniper Springs has cleared all the cobwebs and they are all ready to follow a new direction. Dahlia has found a new love and wants to stay with her kids. Rose wants to stay and re-decorate the inn and possibly fall in love. Magnolia is going home with her husband. The man just loves her and was willing to follow her to the ends of Earth.

I loved this sweet story about 3 sisters who are summoned by their Aunt to come visit one last Christmas at her Inn in Colorado. Each Sister is going through a dramatic life challenge that the others are not aware of.....the story brings them back together and allows each to find what they are needing in their lives and reconnecting with one anouther. It’s a story of family, of finding oneself, of hope, of loss and love. It’s a fairly quick read and a great book to snuggle up with on a cooler evening. It’s a feel good read that makes you want to know what is next for these 3 sisters.
I was fortunate to get an advanced copy , all opinions are mine. I will be recommending this book to friends

In Home for the Holidays, Sara tells us a story of three sisters who returned to their aunt's Juniper Inn in Colorado after a 15-year hiatus to spend Christmas with her. Each of them are going through difficulties in life, and a vacation from life is exactly what they require. Despite their mother's misgivings, they learn what their hearts truly desire and reunite with each other and their aunt.

This book gave me all the feelings for Christmas in summer! I adored all three sisters and Aunt Sassy, and I was absolutely engrossed in their story.
The connections between the sisters were very appealing to me. It was great to see them reuniting after such a long time apart.

This story explores how a family can reconnect and learn to face down difficulties with one another's support. As someone going through pretty much the exact opposite situation with my family, it was maybe not the best thing for me to read. But if holiday trappings as symbols of relationships is your thing, you'll love it.

Forever Publishing is promoting Christmas in July by sharing free digital copies of some of its books in exchange for an honest review. This book was published in Sept 2020.

Dahlia, Magnolia and Rose Buchanan are sisters living in different parts of the county. One is divorced with two children alway putting everyone else first, one is dealing with miscarriages and fertility issues in her marriage and the last is engaged and planning her wedding. All are agree to travel to Colorado for one last Christmas with their Aunt Sassy.

The girls have wonderful memories of summers in their childhood with Sassy at her Juniper Inn. But their mother became estranged from Sassy and they haven't seen her in almost 20 years. The story is told from alternating POV of each of the sisters giving time to connect with each. This is richly written even if almost everything is predictable. I love the characters and their sisterhood bond. They decide to focus on making it a Christmas to remember.

This is all about family, sisters and love. Romance or its potential is added to make some holiday magic. It is a feel good book that is squeaky clean to read. I was happy and moved reading about Christmas with the Buchanan Sisters and Aunt Sassy. Thank you NetGalley and Forever for an ARC ebook in exchange for an honest review.
