This was a really sweet Christmas romance. We have 3 sisters, who are all at a crossroads in their life. Their Aunt invites them to her inn in Colorado for Christmas. They all decide to go.
Rose isn't happy in her engagement, and isn't sure if she likes the woman she would have to be to make it work.
Dahlia has 2 kids, and a husband who ran off on her a year ago. She needs a break, and to rediscover who she is.
Magnolia has been trying to have a baby with her husband for many years. After lots of attempts with fertility treatments, he lets her know that he doesn't want to try anymore.
This coming of age Christmas story was a treat. It warmed my heart, and a dog got a new home in the process. The perfect Hallmark type Christmas book.

Though it's her first Women's Fiction book, Sara Richardson has delivered a perfect sweet and heartwarming story.

Home for the Holidays is about family and following your heart. It features sisters Dahlia, Rose, and Magnolia who reunite with their estranged aunt at her mountain inn. Each sister is at a crossroads in their life and time together is just what they need.

The story is told with each chapter being from one of the sisters' perspectives. So it was easy to connect with them as the plot unfolded. There's also a lot of holiday magic and a little romance to tie it all together.

I would love to see more from these characters in the future!

Holidays are for families!

Rose, Dahlia and Magnolia haven’t seen their estranged aunt Sassy for many years but when she asks them to visit her at the Juniper Inn, they decide to make the time. Dahlia is divorced and her ex-husband is taking the kids to Europe for Christmas, Rose is planning her wedding with the help of their overbearing mother and Rose needs a break after her last round of IVF with her husband failed.

Home for the Holidays shows that they reconnect with each other at The Juniper Inn and they make the choice that is the best for each of them.

I love Christmas stories and Home for the Holidays is a perfect book about bringing families closer together.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What a nice story this was, full of family love, some drama and the joy of finding yourself.

3 sisters, Dahlia, Magnolia and Rose, are summoned to their aunt’s inn for Christmas. Their aunt makes it sound like she’s sick, but she’s not, just needed a way to see them all again after a family rift pulled them apart. It’s a great time for the sisters to be together, as each is struggling with their own difficulties.

I don’t do spoilers, so please take a chance on this book to find out what happens, I guarantee you who be disappointed. This was my book by this author, but it won’t be my last.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

What an absolutely delightful book. This book has so much heart - it has sisterhood, family, Christmas, old flames and new ones, and getting reacquainted with yourself. I absolutely adored this book and I can definitely imagine going to Juniper Springs and having a lovely hot chocolate with an extra side of whipped cream. The characters were beautifully written and my heart broke and sang for each of them. The story was also absolutely charming. It truly is a heart warming story and definitely recommended for anyone who needs a lovely Christmas story.

This was a heartwarming and fun story of three sisters who had lost each other and themselves. They reconnect during a Christmas spent at their aunts mountain inn at a time when they most need a break and their sisters. Happy endings abound and all the christmas feels are there in just the right amount. This is perfect for hallmark Christmas movie lovers like me.

A great Christmas book centering around three sisters at crossroads in their lives. Dahlia, Magnolia and Rose used to spend summers with Aunt Sassy at her Inn when they were children, until their mother and aunt became estranged. When they receive a letter from their aunt asking them to spend one last Christmas at the Inn with her, they cannot refuse. Dahlia is still recovering from her divorce from her cheating husband, Magnolia is dealing with infertility and Rose is questioning her engagement to the “perfect” guy. The sisters need to take time to figure out what they are going to do with their lives and to reconnect with each other. This is a wonderful book that you could see being made into a Hallmark movie. My only complaint was that I wish this was a trilogy, so each sister could have a fuller resolution to their story. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

The Buchanan sisters all share special childhood memories of their Aunt Sassy's beloved Juniper Inn. They’ve been away for years but when their aunt requests them to visit they can’t help but take a break from their lives and make their way back. All three of these women bring their own baggage but know that only the help of their sisters can make it better, and is there a more perfect time than Christmas? Through reconnecting with each other they see the truth about what each of them really wants out of their lives.

Is it the holidays yet? I was so happy that I was able to preview this book and while we are still holding on to summer here, it’s making me excited for the cold! I love that we were able to learn about all three sisters and that we felt like we were at home at the Juniper Inn. This book makes you want to snuggle on the couch, with some hot chocolate and immerse yourself in the lives of Magnolia, Rose, and Dahlia.

Thank you so much @berkleypub & @netgalley for the advanced digital review copy in exchange for an honest review!

Home for the Holidays is the perfect fix for your Christmas reading! What could be better than spending Christmas in the mountains with your sisters, and help your aunt at the same time? Three sisters, each one dealing with some life-changing events: Dahlia is trying to come to terms with a failed marriage, Magnolia is struggling with infertility and unable to give up on her desperate longing for a baby, and Rose needs time to re-think her engagement, and the very high expectations of her fiance's family. Re-connecting with their estranged Aunt Sassy helps them all to deal with the past and move forward.

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever Publishing for allowing me to read an eARC of this book. It started off so strong for me. It's about 3 sisters who all are going to their Aunt's inn in Colorado for Christmas. One of them is divorced and sharing custody of her 2 kids. Another is about to get married, but it doesn't seem quite right. And the 3rd is struggling with infertility and the stress of that is taking a toll on their marriage. All that to say, the 3 women are in desperate need of a getaway and when their aunt says its going to be her last Christmas, they all decide to go. I loved getting to know the sisters, but as soon as they got to Denver, things started to go downhill. There were romances for everyone in this book (regardless of relationship status) and they started to feel like they were just thrown in for the sake of having a romance. This book had one of my all time least favorite tropes and I felt like it was done insensitively (see spoiler section if you're interested in more details). Overall I feel like this book could've done with a few more pages in order to be more developed. There was a lot of telling, not showing, at times and I just wanted more of the women's stories to shine through.

SPOILERS AHEAD:
The sister who is struggling with infertility has undergone many rounds of IVF that have not worked. Her husband says he's ready to stop trying, but she is not so they have come to a potentially fatal impasse but LO AND BEHOLD she winds up pregnant from one random time having sex. I feel like that made a joke of infertility and the infuriating comment of "just relax and then it'll happen". If your fertility issues are severe enough to require IVF, the chances of a natural, on a whim, pregnancy are so low I really didn't appreciate that representation. Her husband comes to Denver in the end and saves the relationship and they live happily ever after.
The divorced sister has a surprise from her ex husband and kids in Denver and he asks for her back because he broke up with his girlfriend. She says no because he only wants her back because he's moving to Paris and wants her to continue to do everything for him (as she does now).
The engaged sister realizes she doesn't want to be with the fiance so they come together to cancel the wedding.
The aunt is not dying, but is moving on from Denver. The love of her life had been a black man but that was not okay where she grew up in Savannah, Georgia so now that she's old she's going to do what's right for her.

This morning I finished Home For The Holidays by Sara Richardson. I've discovered some new authors recently, and Sara Richardson was one of them. I loved this story of three sisters returning to their Aunt Sassy's Juniper Inn for the first time in years! All three sisters are at challenging times in their lives and could use a holiday escape.

I thought the three sisters being named after flowers was fun and unique. Dahlia, Magnolia, and Rose, all at different stages in their lives, but reconnecting, while helping their Aunt. Four men thrown into the mix, makes for an interesting story of love, growth and standing up for yourself. I loved this book and hope to read more about the three sisters and their upcoming adventures at the Juniper Inn.

Home for the Holidays is a great holiday novel that will get you in ready for the season!

Sisters Dahlia, Magnolia and Rose used to spend Christmases at their Aunt Sassy's in the mountains of Colorado when they were younger. That stopped years ago, but their aunt has reached out and asked them to come back to spend one more holiday there.

With each of the women dealing with different things in their lives, the trip seems to fall at just the right time. It gives them a chance to reconnect with one another, with their aunt and it also gives them the space to consider what they really want out of their futures.

This quick moving novel had me from the moment I started reading. The characters are engaging, and spirited. While each has their own set of issues they are dealing with, the bond these sisters have is unmistakable. There is plenty of warmth and charm in this book along with some romance.

I highly recommend this wonderful holiday novel!

I love those Christmas books that are so cozy and warm it’s like being wrapped up in Grandmas afghan. 🎄Home For The Holidays was no exception! It was cozy, feel good, heartwarming, and positively charming! 🎄This is the tale of 3 sisters as they reunite for Christmas at their beloved Aunt Sassy’s Juniper Inn, each sister at a crossroad in their life. It’s here, in the majestic setting of Colorado at Christmastime, that new romances will blossom and old hurts healed. 🎄The setting was magical and plopped me right into the heart of Christmas, even in the dog days of summer. The sisters bond is heartwarming and this whole book just left me feeling warm, joyful, and cozy. This book is out in September, just in time to add to your holiday stacks! My thanks to @readforeverpub for the advance reader in exchange for my honest review.

This was a beautiful story about three sisters (all in different phases of their lives) and how they came together for Christmas at their childhood vacation spot. I am a huge Hallmark movie & Christmas fan and this was just perfect!

Three sisters living in different states come together for Christmas at the invitation of their aunt Sassy. Each sister is facing a major decision or challenge and unexpected things happen during their visit. It is an uplifting story about reconnecting with loved ones and taking a stress relief break.

Home for the Holidays is a sweet story about three sisters who spend time with their estranged aunt during Christmas. During their time in the Colorado mountains, they discover a little bit about themselves, a lot about each other and a good deal about their family history.

I really enjoyed this holiday story. It had wonderful characters, great writing and is just what I look for in holiday books.
