I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

This is the last book in the series by Mike and Mackenzie Morrison but the first book I have read from this series. I enjoyed this short but simple and sweet book about putting yourself in another person's shoes and considering how they feel and showing compassion towards them at the same time.

These type of books are fantastic resources for young children to learn about considering others and their feelings.

Very positive book for children. Teaches empathy and how do relate with others. Recommend this book for parents, teachers, and those working with children who have a hard time seeing others' point of view.

Love everything about it except that it ended too soon. Me being the I-want-more when a book is too good actually re-read the book twice from cover to cover!

The book focuses on teaching kids on "putting oneself in other's shoes" when in times of difficulty faced by those around them. This book teaches compassion and empathy with a few real life situations whether it's at home or at school. I wish there were some more practical examples like these. But nevertheless, I find it effectively written and illustrated.

When difficult to explain issues are represented into such an easy, effective read I would say it's a book well done.

Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC of #BigHeartFeels

Big heart feels is a great book to teach kids empathy in a way they can understand. It is an important lesson that can be hard to teach. In this story the main character puts herself in other people's shoes in various ways. She knows just how to help each one once she realizes how they feel.

Big Heart Feels continues to help little ones cultivate the inner reflection skills that will allow them to speak up about how they feel and begin understanding others emotions. Inner reflection skills are necessary to guide children through all stages of life and it is one of the most important skills a parent can teach and also continue to co-learn with their child.

This is a book which teaches children to develop the feelings of empathy, selfcare and love.

We need such books in the era where everyone is just in a rat race and just wants success.

The book Big Heart Feels by Mike Morrison Ph.D and Mackenzie Morrison is a heartwarming story that teaches kids empathy. It's a cute story about a little girl learning to understand what others are feeling by putting herself in their shoes. I love the message and plan on getting this for young school-age kids.

What an amazing, to the point story on empathy.
Must read for all kids. So they know how to put themselves in other shoes as well as appreciate when others do so.

I read this book with my daughters and we all loved it. It tells a story of a girls named Angela who is learning the concept of empathy. She is learning to "put herself in their shoes". This is a great learning tool to show other children how to stop and evaluate the situation and make better choices to support others. I loved the illustrations and I loved that the main character is a POC, we need to see more of this in stories for children.

This is book # 3 in the "Small Voice Says Series." The positive message of the book is an invaluable life lesson, important for both young and old to adhere to.

The authors message? To imagine oneself in the situation or circumstances of another person, so as to understand or empathize with their perspective, opinion, or point of view. Before being quick to judge someone for their actions, you should always try to put yourself in their shoes.

Angela reappears and as she listens to her heart she makes a choice to treat others around her with kindness and generosity. She offers herself to be an available friend full of compassion and understanding to those needing encouragement and TLC.

The story helps little ones assess their emotions and gives them a deeper understanding of both their own and of how other's feel. It is a very important skill to impart to young children.

" In Big Heart Feels, we learn to allow our children to start the reflection process. . . what does your small voice say you should do?
It's not a book you read to, but a book you read with children, Big Heart Feels will find a forever home on any bookshelf by exploring:

● Education and empowerment of girls
● Cultivation of a strong inner voice to enact feelings and motivations
● Discussion opportunities for parents to create a more nurturing relationship with their child
● Expression of individuality
● The beginning steps of instilling compassion in your child
● Expansion of learning capabilities."

I highly recommend it!

This book was absolutely adorable!! I really loved the theme of the story: put yourself in other people's shoes. This is an important message that I believe many children need to hear! Even adults need to be reminded sometimes to understand what other people may be feeling. As a 20-year-old, this story gave me a strong reminder to be aware of those around me and never to make assumptions. This book taught me the lesson to pay attention to my loved ones and to always show care for those around me.
