This book was such a beautiful book for my children, The message is such a sweet one and they loved the rhymes and the colorful illustrations. They did a great job at including different ethnic backgrounds into the book.

Rob Buyea does it again. What a great way to wrap up the adventure with Lexie, Luke, Peter, Jessica, Anna, Danielle, and Jeffrey. I love a good ending filled with hope. My family has enjoyed all Rob Buyea’s books and this is no exception.

This is a heartfelt religious book to remind children that they were made with love. The author wrote this to his young children following the death of his wife. He stressed that they were matched with the exact family so they would be loved. The illustrations are beautifully diverse including children with disabilities. I really liked this story and recommend this to all Christian families to use for bedtime reading.

What an adorable book! This book is so heart warming and I wish we could get this to every child. This book starts to teach children about God and how God knows all about them and their hopes and dreams (and all of ours as well). I think this book gives children a reason to embrace the good of God and a confidence in their own uniqueness.

The Day God Made You is a beautiful heartfelt book to remind children that they were made with love. God made them, picked the family they belong in and is with them everyday. It stresses that we are all individuals with special talents. God loves them and they need to love themselves for who they are. The illustrations are wonderful, showing diverse children and families. They are cute, showing children doing all sorts of things and also include children with disabilities. I really liked this story, except for the line that God has planned out everything in their lives. I believe God has given us free will to make some choices for ourselves, but my grandchildren are too young to worry about that right now. We read this as a bedtime story and the children enjoyed it. I recommend this one to all families who believe in a higher being. This is one I would purchase for my Sunday School classroom.

The story was cute but for some reason I couldn’t get out my head that it was written for his daughter. I felt like I couldn’t personalize it for my child or any other child.

This sweet, repetitive is a delightful bedtime story or afternoon read for toddlers and young children. The illustrations were beautiful and delicate but warm. It's a good reminder that we are made by God and he made you and your children on purpose.

LOVED everything about this book - the message, the rhyming (each stanza is so tastefully done and the refrain "The Day God Made You" fits so well each time and doesn't feel forced), the illustrations and the representation of children of all different ethnicities and abilities.

We are big fans of Rory Feek’s last book, “The Cow Said Neigh”, so I was delighted to see he had a new release coming.
‘The Day God Made You’ is beautiful - from the lyrical text to the gorgeous illustrations. I also loved the wide diversity of the people throughout the pages, which is thankfully becoming more common.
We look forward to finding a print copy for our personal collection soon!

A pretty book to give to your kids, to remind them how precious they are. That they are created to be someone special in this world, and most of all, that God loves them, in all circumstances. Even though He created us, He knows already what we will do, but nevertheless He loves it when we come to Him. And regardless our sins, He still accept us the way we are.

Oh, this precious story book brought all the joyful tears to my eyes! What a sweet celebration of a child’s life this book is. I loved that it instills the belief that God knew a child before they were even formed in the womb. A book where children can find comfort and peace in the fact they are known and loved, that they are a unique and delightful creation… Reminding little readers that God knows them inside and out and loves them for who they are is something that cultivates a deeply rooted faith, a sense of purpose and grounds young hearts and minds. In addition, this story book uplifts and encourages children to dream, hope and love big. For that aspect alone, this book is a great addition to a child’s bookshelf!

The book also celebrates diversity and disabilities in its lovely and creative illustrations while offering soft, lyrical words that make the story flow gently and happily. As a parent, this is a definite go-to story book to encourage my daughter and reinforce the beautiful things we want to teach in our home. As an adoptive family, I especially love that it teaches my daughter that she’s known, loved and was created exactly the way God intended her to be, knowing all that her life means and will mean to those around her in her future.

I loved this book. It is a Christian based book that is based on the premise that God knew everything about you as a person before you were formed. It read smoothly, I could see this being read to a child or to a classroom. There are beautiful illustrations that depicted people of all different colors and abilities, very inclusive. It has a page where you can write a To/From message.
