This is a good book if you already know about Enneagrams. There was a little bingo bit before each chapter, that I found entertaining. For example, going grocery shopping: a 6 will .... a 9 will.... They were fun, quick snapshots of the 9 enneagram types. I do wish there was something included in the book to determine your enneagram type before you start reading. I already know mine, but it’s be helpful for those that do not. Otherwise, you don’t really understand what you’re reading.

This was my first audio book experience and I've enjoyed immensely.

The Honest Enneagram is very concise and sistematic book, well read and full of interesting informations. I've taken enneagram test online and then just carefully listened about my personality type/s, pro and cons and advices how to become better self.

The book is really useful and I highly recommend it.

I have gone back and forth with what type I am, and have read multiple books, listened to multiple podcasts, talked to multiple people... but this book helped me finally figure it out. Sarajane's words and descriptions are in depth and enlightening. I have been following her on Instagram for awhile and her information is always easy to understand.

This was a great read! I love reading about the enneagram, and this book most definitely helped to expand my knowledge about the enneagram. I plan to share this book with all of my enneagram loving friends!

Interesting personality archetypes, but I'm a bit skeptical as to how the author defines and divide the different archetypes, I often have this issue with personality tests (hello, Myers Briggs). Love the narration though.

While this book does not offer an Enneagram test, you can find them online for free. The author gives a great overview of all the types, which I especially loved since as a 9, my type is a combination of many others. Like most of these things- whether it's your astrological sign, or your Myers-Brigg personality test, nothing will be a perfect fit, but the basics of Enneagram 9 definitely fit me well and has given me a lot to think about. I will definitely be pulling this book out next book club - yes, I purchased a physical copy. A fascinating way to take a deeper look into our personalities, strengths and weaknesses.

This was my first experience with enneagram. I was in awe listening to the narrator describe me perfectly as a Type 1. I could not believe how accurate it was. The book is about personality types. The author gives a quick overview of each personality type dedicates a chapter for each one going into more detail.

The one thing I would have liked would be a sample test at the beginning of the book. That way I would have known what type I was before I started. The author has a very easy to read and understand writing style. The subject matter is very interesting and helpful when communicating with others. If you are interested in finding out more about your personality type, I highly recommend this book.

I am a huge fan of the author's instagram account, so I was eager to listen to her book and it did not disappoint.
I think the narrator was the PERFECT choice for this type of book. Her voice was gentle and kind; I truly could listen to her for hours. I was engaged and interested the whole time.
As for the content, I think visual learners may prefer a hard copy of this book as the Enneagram types are somewhat visual, however, everything was very clearly explained and easy to follow. If you are an oral learner or a fan of podcasts, the audiobook format will be a perfect fit.
I am fairly familiar with the Enneagram and I still learned a lot from this book. It handles the personal topic of self-reflection with grace, forgiveness, and gentleness. There is no shame associated with the weaknesses of any of the types. I highly recommend this title for anyone who is Enneagram-curious! I would definitely gift this book to a friend.

I have been intrigued by the Enneagram for awhile, but this was my first real in depth look at it. After taking a quick test online to determine my number I dove into the book. I thought it was approachable and engaging. It explained the overall concept thoroughly and clearly, then the real meat of the book was well delivered in each type's chapter. I really liked the explanation of the positive and negative qualities of the type, as well as the "wings" often used.
As an audiobook, the reading was clear and engaging. I do think this audiobook would benefit from a PDF "handout" of some of the pages. For example, each type opened with a "bingo sheet" and I think this would have benefited from a visual.

What is your Enneagram number? I am a 6 (the loyalist) all the way! Safety and security are what I need! This book does a deep dive into each type. It gives the good, bad, where you go in stress, and things you can work on.

I really enjoyed this one. I listened on audio and I love that it hit all the parts of the types. We tend to focus on either the positives of our type, or the negatives, and this book did a great job of praising the positives, and giving a different perspective on the negatives, including ways you can better yourself through your wings and lines. If you haven’t taken an Enneagram test I highly recommend it. Its creepy how accurate it is!
