I love how this book is the continuation of the Hawaiian series. It was so much fun to catch up with the four friends with a particular focus on Sadie and her relationships.

Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc

This book deserves more than 5 stars. I would certainly give it more
I loved this book from the very start and couldn't put it down until I was finished with it.
Sadie did certainly have a lot going on for her throughout this book. I must say I admired her very much and I her attitude through the book was awesome! I was so very proud of her!
Wyman I wasn't so sure about and he proved me right on this account. He wasn't my cup of tea. In fact I felt sorry for him because he wouldn't/couldn't see past the end of his own nose!
Family is supposed to mean everything right? I think in this case it's so very true. Family needs to stick together in whether it's a crisis, health, and prosperity as well. I thought this family did rather well. They had something most families don't.
The Lord is good and He's there for all of us if we only let Him be.
I love that Michael and Lovina is a strong and stalwart couple. They do set a perfect example for everything that holds a marriage together and I appreciate that aspect. They are by no means perfect and I liked that about them.
Brunstetter has written a beautiful story one that I would reread again and again because of the wonderful characters that are portrayed in this book. It was really good to see some characters from the previous books and what they've been up to. I've really missed them.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves reading about the Amish. This book is sooooo good!
Here's a little something for you to think about as you read this book.
“I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” Philippians 4: 11.
It's hard I know because I'm at discontent at times and that old green eyes monster raises it's ugly head and it makes me unhappy at times. But, there are also good things that come to those who wait and with this I'll come to a close.
My thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book and I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.

Sadie is being courted by Wyman. Wyman can’t stay in one job because he is bored and thinks he is better than that. Sadie makes a quilt blending Amish and Hawaiian patterns. She had visited Hawaii before she joined the church. She gets the idea to write a book about it. Sadie eventually has to choose. I really enjoyed this book. I really did not like the character Wyman. I felt he was very self centered. He does try to redeem himself. Thank you to NetGalley and Barbour Publishing. This is my own opinion.

The Blended Quilt is an Amish Christian romance novel with an interesting love story and several interesting relationships running through it.
Sadie Kuhns and Wyman Kauffman have been courting for six months when the wheels start coming off their relationship. Wyman's inability to stay in a job starts the problem and the situation is further exacerbated when Sadie comes into money and decides to self publish a book about quilting and her observations on her trip to Hawaii.
The book speaks a lot about selfishness, pride, responsibility, the importance of family and community, and also of seeking the Lord's will in one's life. Will Sadie and Wyman each decide what is most important in their lives or keep going their own way?
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Barbour Publishing. The opinions in this review are completely my own.

I just finished reading "The Blended Quilt" by Jean Brunstetter and Wanda E. Brunstetter. As a quilter, I often look for books that combine quilting and fiction and this one did not disappoint. The relationships between Sadie and her family and friends felt authentic. I was also pleased to see the characters encountered feelings of pride, jealousy, and turmoil, which were reconciled in realistic ways. I would definitely read other books by these authors.
