This was a refreshing avenue to entice another generation with a classic tale of friendship, family, and heart.

this is just as good as the original. its a fun and light way to enjoy a classic middle grade book! i highly recommend giving this a try if your curious about it! i give this 5 out of 5 stars for sure!!!

Anne of Green Gables has been one of my favourite books since I was a kid, so when I had the opportunity to read the manga adaptation, I was stoked!

There is so much respect paid to the source material in this adaptation. Everything from how to was scripted to the character design was meticulously plotted out, and with a lot of love put in! I'm left with a warm, cozy, nostalgic feeling, and I can't wait to read more adaptations from this series.

I gained smiles and tears from this gorgeous manga adaptation of the beloved Anne's story. Anne's and Gilbert's character designs are so adorable. I loved the characters' vibrant expressions and art style. Five stars!

Anne of Green Gables has always been a favorite book of mine. It is a book that was read to me as a child, and I have read it many times as an adult.

I saw this book on NetGalley and I really wanted to check it out. This book did not disappoint me at all. I am not a big Manga fan, however I thought the illustrations were beautiful. This is a really a neat way to introduce young people to classic books. I really liked this one.

This has been such a cute version to read the story of Anne of Green Gables. I love the book and the story by Lucy M. Montgomery in all the version that already exist, so I was so happy and thankful to get to read this Manga version of it.
I loved the drawing style, it reminded me so much of the mangas I've read when I was younger and it just made me happy to read it. Thank you so much for providing this review copy!
It is also such a good way to get people into the story of little Anne, because reading a manga is often easier to start than a book. The only thing that I personally didn't like that much were Matthew's eyes, because they were sometimes just pitch-black and that confused me a little, but it was still such a good manga!

I wanted to see this adaptation, but it never loaded. I have always been a huge fan of Anne and her antics. I applaud an effort to gain a new fanbase by creating the story in a new medium for a new crowd. I’m granting this an honorary 4 stars, in hopes that it attracts new readers.

The medium of manga amplifies Anne’s spirit and vivacity. Everyone is so expressive and the panels move with such ease and care, much like the source material. This is such a great adaptation. I loved it. I want to have a copy to sit on my shelf next to my special print edition.

Anne of Green Gables is on of my favorite children's classics and I feel like the manga did such a great job of depicting the story into a graphic novel format.

This manga tells the story of a young orphan girl being adopted into a family that didn't necessarily initially want her (they had asked for a young boy). However, over time and many heartwarming interactions we get to see the family grow into a very loving one -despite not being blood.

Anne Shirley is also one of my favorite characters from literature. I relate to her a lot with the imagination and childhood and I love watching her grow.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to consume a classic but not necessarily read a novel, anyone who loves Anne of Green Gables and wants more content, or anyone who is curious about the story. I would also definitely recommend this as a family book or for young girls!

Beautiful illustrations! Love how the artist captures Anne's wittiness and chattiness all throughout the book.

Rediscovering this classic in a different format/medium was quite the fun experience. The manga version of Anne of Green Gables is a great way to reach a new wider and younger audience. Because of the low resolution of the Netgalley file, it wasn’t very ideal to read it; a physical book would’ve been better. But the final ebook version will be high resolution, so don’t hesitate to give it a go. As for the visuals, the overall aesthetics was really nice and original.

For those who might find the original medium too overwhelming at first glance (or who might want to experience something new and different), the manga storystelling version offers a very interesting introduction to the classic piece of literature and could help build the confidence required to move on to the actual (more wordy) novel.

This is one of those books that I was thoroughly excited to pick up and read. I loved Manga Classics' Pride and Prejudice (I mean talk about the art style and the accessibility of the story!!) so I was absolutely eager to see how the publishers adapted one of my favorite books into a manga.

AND of course, I was not disappointed. This edition stayed true to the story, and I was so pleased that they included the parts in which Anne learns to pray and receives puffed sleeves--as these were a few of the heartwarming moments in the original story for me. I also enjoyed the typical manga facial expressions which I felt added some sense of humour. I definitely enjoyed this book, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see a different format of their favourite story! <3

I really enjoyed this! I have the original version already and I loved the manga version. It's so accessible and I think people who haven't been introduced to the classics yet would benefit from reading them in this format. I think it's a beautiful story and I enjoyed the art very much.

This manga adaptation of Anne of Green Gables is fine. It’s fine. It’s dialogue lifted from the books combined with a waifish yet kawaii Anne doing stock anime reaction faces at Marilla and Matthew, who are generic manga old Europeans and can’t move their faces at all. If some children happen to enjoy this, it’s fine. But it would not be my preferred way to experience this story.

This is a fantastic manga graphic novel. I haven't read this classic yet, but I really enjoyed this novel. I always enjoy reading the graphic novel before the book. As you read the actual book, you will be able to visualise this book. This book is ideal for younger children to introduce them to classic literature. It is suitable for ages 9 to adult. It's also fantastic for any manga fans out there. I'm new to reading manga books because it takes some getting used to reading from right to left, but this one was fantastic.The work of art
was beautiful, and the organize of manga brings an instantaneousness and clarity of feeling within the minute that's delightful. I snickered a few times at Anne’s tricks. I think that this adjustment of Anne of Green Peaks will offer to long time fans and new perusers alike. I especially just like the thought that it'll bring unused perusers who maybe as it were read manga and realistic books. I moreover delighted in the uncommon highlights at the end. If you’re seeking out for a 5 manga story of a young lady finding her put within the world, at that point I profoundly suggest this. I too prescribe it to anybody who has delighted in the Anne of Green Peaks story in any of its past groups.

Before I say anything else I would just like to say this was brilliant.

Right off the bat it was fun and charming just like any other Anne of Green Gables book. This was my first time reading a manga classic and I'm glad it was it was wonderful and I loved every second of it.

I really enjoy the Manga Classics adaptations, and this Anne of Green Gables far exceeded my expectations. I always enjoy how these adaptations include the original text that's enhanced with the visuals to help readers understand what is happening in the story without requiring additional, outside texts. Additionally, the artists in the book capture the charm that Anne has throughout Anne of Green Gables that I was smiling the entire time as I re-read this classic in a new format.
