I personally love a good and fast recipe. This particular cookbook is packed with recipes that use frozen items which really come In handy for when you forget to thaw that hamburger meat!!

Thanks to this book you are able to see 100 different no thaw necessary recipes that take no time at all to get on the table! As a very busy mom of 3 I love having a cookbook like this in my arsenal for those nights I'm needing a quick, fresh and delicious meal.

As always, thank you to the publisher and netgalley for providing me a copy in exchange for an honest review

Well-organized and easy to follow. Very useful especially when you have to cook for a larger group of people. I tried about 4 recipes from this book for my family gathering. They come out great and people enjoyed them! Thank you so very much!

Cooking from frozen always seemed so intimidating. Friends of mine have freezers packed with homemade meals, and mine seemed bare in comparison. This book was truly an inspiration with some delicious meals that make our evenings so much easier. 5*.

This cookbook had some really great recipes. The recipes were easy to understand and not too complicated for the average cook. I enjoyed the illustrations and look forward to making these recipes for years to come.

Most busy people have favorite ingredients stored in their freezers so they can prepare dishes without going to the grocery store. The 30-Minute Cooking from Frozen Cookbook: 100 Delicious Recipes That Will Save You Time and Money―No Pre-Thawing Required! takes quick cooking from the freezer to a higher level. The author, Carole Jones, has presented over 100 recipes using frozen ingredients; the dishes take 30 minutes or less to make.

The great thing about this book is that it features recipes that regular people actually want to make. Jones has developed recipes with flavors borrowed from all over the world, and there is something for everyone here. One recipe that turned out perfectly and very delicious is Individual Cheesy Potato Casseroles; these take very little hands-on time, and once baked, go with everything from grilled meats, poultry, and fish, as well as some casseroles. Other recipes in this book worth looking at include Popcorn Chicken BLT Pasta Salad, Broccoli Almond Stir-Fry, Monkey Bread Muffins (Yum!), and Swiss Mushroom Steak Hoagies. There are appetizers, breakfast dishes, salads, soups, main dishes containing chicken, beef, pork, and seafood, as well as vegetarian dishes and desserts.

The one drawback to this excellent cookbook is the minimum number of photographs. There are so many delicious dishes, that there should be a picture of every one. The ones that are included are beautiful and mouthwatering, and that one weakness shouldn’t stop busy cooks from purchasing this cookbook.

Highly recommended, the recipes are written in a concise and easy-to-read manner, and can easily be followed by any cook whether beginning or advanced. This cookbook will be a good addition to any cookbook collection.

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

I am always on the hunt for quick, easy meals and this cookbook does not disappoint. The recipes are easy to follow, and this is perfect for both a novice and an experienced cook

Let me start by saying I recently decided I love flipping through cookbooks for recipes my husband can cook for us. He actually knows how to cook and feels comfortable experimenting with recipes in the kitchen. I do not. Even when I cook for myself, I usually ask him to verify the chicken is cooked through and I'm not going to accidentally poison us. However, this cookbook made me feel like I might actually be able to master some dishes. I thought cooking from frozen would really limit the health factor in our meals, but it doesn't have to. Nor does cooking from frozen limit your options to what's in the bag. There are so many ways to be creative, and delicious recipes abound in this cookbook.

I'm always on the hunt for cookbooks that are the perfect intersection of healthy, cost effective, and efficient. This one has the latter two ideas well in hand. It makes good use of what I like to call "real people food". Accessible ingredients, nothing overly pretentious, with a focus on main dishes, no space wasted on party foods.

I really enjoyed this cookbook and have tried a few of the recipes and tips in it. We are very busy and don’t always have tome or remember to thaw ingredients before dinner.

While this book is indeed filled with great 30 minute meals I found the title a bit misleading. The recipes I tried were tasty and took little time to prepare however the frozen aspect felt a little gimmicky, using frozen fruit or spinach for a smoothie for example is pretty standard practice for most average cooks as is using frozen onions and such. However I feel this would be an excellent cookbook for new adults and novice cooks as it will show those who may be unfamiliar with using frozen ingredients in cooking how then can be utilized. This can be especially beneficial and economical as frozen ingredients last longer then fresh.

I received a free electronic copy from NetGalley of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an e-arc of this cookbook in exchange for an honest review.

I have some mixed feelings about this cookbook. It definitely has some good recipes, but a lot of them would be easier without using the frozen food gimmick (and it truly feels like a gimmick).

It feels like a cookbook for someone who is just starting to cook. It’s pretty approachable and the recipes are simple and quick. If you already know how to cook, it’s a bit boring. I kept thinking that if I try any of the recipes, it’ll be without the frozen food aspect (aside from frozen chopped onions because those are a lifesaver).

I appreciate that she has included nutrition info for each recipe as well as some helpful tips on cooking from frozen.

Another negative for this cookbook is that despite the recipes being simple, if you followed them, they’d be super expensive. Sure, vegetables can be cheaper frozen, but most of the meats and seafood cost just as much frozen as they do fresh. Also, the cook times on a lot of the fish dishes are off and everything seems to be covered in salt (yes, yes, I know that’s common in cookbooks - it still annoys me).

I’d have liked some more recipe photos, but the ones she has make you want to check out those dishes.

Overall, I don’t really recommend or not recommend. If you’re a novice looking for approachable recipes, by all means, check this cookbook out. If you’re an experienced home cook, skip this one.

My step mom grew up during the depression so the concept of cooking from my pantry is an easy one for me to get behind. This is how I learned to cook, and since COVID-19, it's become a fact of life. We need to prepare the best food we have with what’s on hand, and the timing is perfect for Cooking From Frozen.

Organized by meal times, Carole Jones provides a wide range of recipes within each category for many different tastes. There are some great ideas in Cooking From Frozen and I’m inspired to hurry up and fill my freezer.

Well-organized and easy to follow - which, phew! - it's a cookbook that I could love but the recipes, as they are on the page, don't really fit my personal taste preferences. This is super, right down the line cooking which tastes pretty good and doesn't ask for a whole bunch of time and knowledge from its reader, which is also great. For those with big freezers and little time.

As a young adult, fresh out of uni, this recipe book is for me. Quick, delicious, make on the go with what you have because you have to go to work in 30 mins recipes.

definitely a book i'll be investing in to survive on actual food. Personal favourites? the poppyseed pancakes. Love anything poppyseed and for breakfast? even better. And the potato casseroles. Yum.

Not sure if it was the Netgalley app but the layout wasn't great. some images were chopped but otherwise very easy to read and the images helped choose what i was to make next!

Thank you for feeding all the twenty-something year olds. That said, this is good for any busy-body
