Forget billionaires, highlanders, and Navy SEALs--I think outdoorsy New Zealanders might be my favorite romance topic. This one was a wild ride with a lost treasure, an overbearing celebrity mother, a nosy small town, and a falling-down B&B, but it was enjoyable. I will definitely look for more from this author.

First of all, I love that this book was set in New Zealand, I have never read a book with this setting, and honestly, I wish I had. The author sure has a way with words, she detailed the New Zealand landscape beautifully. Now, I am not one for hiking, but after reading this book I really want to go, especially through some of those trails mentioned. I also wish the Birdsong B&B was real, I would love to stay there.

The relationship between Angela and Noah was great from the start, you could practically feel the attraction between the two, and when they finally got together it felt natural. The adventure the two went on together was exciting and interesting. Overall this was a great story and I would suggest this to those who love a good adventure.

I liked the premise of this book. however, I didn't like the heroine. She basically grave robbed a dead body and played finders keepers. She was also supposed to come from this great outdoorsy background but came across pretty incompetent. The hero was ok and the villain was also very one note. I did like the sister and the mother.

**I received a copy of Uncharted Hearts: A small town romantic adventure from Net Galley and Xpresso Book Tours in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. My opinions were not solicited in any way**

Uncharted Hearts: A small town romantic adventure by Emily Archer is the first in her Lose Your Heart series. For debut author Ms. Archer kept me turning pages to find out how the story would end for Angela Hayes and Noah O'Connor. There is a missing huge Gold Nugget, A feud between two local families The Boyd's and O'Connor's and several endearing townspeople Timoti especially. I hope that Teagan O'Connor will get her story next?

Angela Hayes has come to New Zealand's South Island to explore the country for possible Boutique Tourism company that she wants to create. But heavy rains, a washed out bridge has her stranded in Pounamu Point. When the only place to stay is Birdsong Inn she'll meet Nick and Fianna O'Connor never knowing that her life will never be the same when she'll go on a adventure of a lifetime.

Nick O'Connor is home helping his mother through cancer treatments and running the families Inn but it's deteriorating quickly and he's worried that the banks will soon be foreclosing. He soon finds out that Angela has the other half of his necklace to a possible

Loved it. While I would be happier without any intimate details, that was easy to skip over and enjoy the romance and adventure. An exciting and engaging adventure it is, too. A wonderful view of New Zealand nature, plus romance and peril. A definite page turner and quick read. I am eager to read more by this author.
