I found this book really fun but didn't love it. I loved the story but didn't connect as well with the characters as much as I thought I would. However I would definitely read more from this author, this had all the right things for a good romance book I think just for me personally I didn't connect with the characters as much as I wanted to

Ok so I wanted to like this because of the adorable cover but I’m still waiting to get sucked in. The writing just didn’t captivate me. Maybe too descriptive for my taste. The cover and story don’t match that’s one, there is some abuse in the story. Overall not bad, just not my cup of tea. This is YA so if your new to the genre and like more of a street book then give it a try!

I got this book after publication date and did not realize that at the time. I will try to read and review this but the fact that it was after publication was what made me unable to read and review this in time. Thank you for the chance though.

I was excited to read Next Stop Love, but the writing didn't grab me. It's an okay read, I'm sure, but it just isn't for me. Sorry.

I loved that this romance was not just an easy, thrown together romance. There was turmoil and drama thrown in, in a way that brought a depth to the relationships! This was a good read and I recommend to anyone who wants a romance with a little pizzazz.

This is a lovely story of two broken people who find each other and learn how to be whole. It's beautifully written—cute and quirky and funny, as the cover suggests. It's also got a suspense element, which I didn't expect. But that didn't detract from the story for me. This book should appeal to anyone who enjoys YA romance.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received.

This book was a fun read. I loved the swoony moments and character development. If you are looking for a fun quick read with swoon worthy moments, definitely pick this one up.

I was given this book as an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Rachel Stockbridge’s Next Stop Love is a contemporary NA romance which follows two star-crossed lovers as they develop an unlikely bond. After Beatrice and Julian meet in an odd incident, they have a sense of instant connection with one another. After some initial hesitation, they decide to put obstacles aside and support each other, forming a strong bond that is destined to change their lives.

I am not generally fond of multiple POVs but Beatrice and Julian are both likeable characters with a distinct voice and in this case I think the split narration worked quite nicely in service of the story. The secondary characters were well-developed and lively, which I really appreciated.

Overall it was a fun read which I would recommend to fans of romance and NA looking for new releases.

It took me a little while to get into Next Stop Love and I was glad I did. A yearning for something better while struggling with insecurities flows from the pages. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A delightful rom-com by Rachel Stockbridge. It's one of those fabulous romantic comedies that also deals with real-world problems and emotions. Absolutely lovely and worth a read! Five out of five!

Next Stop Love has the bones of a good story, but doesn't quite know what it wants to be.

Take the cover for instance. We have a delightful illustration of two people looking totally in love. Based on that picture and the description below, I thought that this was going to be a delightful romcom about two people falling in love on the subway. Adorable, right?

That does happen in this book, alongside gang violence, domestic abuse, and attempted murder. The cute vibes that you get from looking at the cover and reading the synopsis is incredibly misleading. Now as my Goodreads will tell you, I love romance as well as suspense/thriller novels. That is not the problem I have with this book. For me, it makes very little effort to actually blend the two together. It goes to the extremes of both genres without ever really finding a good middle ground to rest on. The overall idea for the story is good, but in the end, it did not deliver on either front for me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Rachel for an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review!

The "cutsieness" of the cover of this book doesn't do the storyline justice. The story was much darker than I anticipated.

Next Stop Love by Rachel Stockbridge is a contemporary romance between Beatrice Bauer and Julian Moon set in the beautiful city of New York. The book is easy flowing and cute rom-com between the two. Beatrice Bauer is struggling to keep up with the demands of family, friends, college life, and a part-time job.

Julian Moon is doing his best to get back on his feet and reconnect with his dream of being an illustrator. The problem is he can’t seem to shake the habit of making all the worst decisions. The most recent of which is his return to New York, where all his problems started in the first place.

They both live in the same area and take the same train on their way to work, which ended up bringing little happiness in their lives. The story was smooth, easy flowing and calm. No bumps, No Twists, simple Love. The characters definitely felt childish at times. But overall I liked how the story progresses. Written is dual perspective helps with the story.

There is nothing much to say about this, except for the fact that the book was average in plot, but narration was good. There was at times unnecessary information but that's okay! So if you are just looking for some light and easy flowing read then I would recommend you pick this up. But if you are done with the c

Thank you netgallery and the author for this copy in return for an honest review.

I overall enjoyed this book and was surprised by how the story wrapped up.

Beatrice and Julian are both struggling with their lives and are trying to use their relationship as a way to mend their current lives. After looking at the cover, I expected this to be a light fluff but it had lots of darker topics as well as a good deal of angst.

I loved the switching of POVs especially since it gave us a few of both characters and helped us see their romance better vs if it was just one POV. The one thing I was not particularly a fan of was the miscommunication trope, it made me little less interested in the book especially since I already am not a fan of romance books.

I definitely would recommend this to anyone who likes fluffy romance with a little twist.

Sometimes you just need an adorable romcom set in NYC that keeps you smiling as you fall for characters that aren’t too deep, and a perfect quick read to help us escape in this crazy time. I am definitely a cover buyer & this one caught my eye immediately - it was an absolutely must read for me!

I adorde the meet cute of these two unique individuals both unknowingly looking for each other - you soon realize Beatrice and Julian are everything romance readers want to find in this contemporary friends to lovers book. It does have some surprisingly deep moments, that I thought really added to the book and made it MORE than I was expecting!

Fingers crossed that we get more of this writing style & cute, quirky love story with the distinction in the title that it’s #1 - I would absolutely pick up more from this author about these characters! Highly recommend this to any older teen / new adult that wants a lighthearted read right now.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me an eARC of this title in exchange for my personal review, I give this one 3.5 stars!

While I enjoyed the main characters in this story, their conflict seemed underdeveloped and overdeveloped at the same time. As if the problems weren’t hashed out properly in the beginning and then in the end there’s a massive dump to tie it all in. I was rooting for the romance to happen the moment the characters met. However, Julian was a little too self deprecating and Bee was an overworked doormat. But together they worked.

This book left me a big perplexed. I wasn't expecting a lot of the turmoil and I think I just wasn't in the right mind for it. But overall the book was good.

I'm kind of confused about this book. It sort of consists of two halves (duh) but those halves are very different from each other. The first half of the book is super insta-lovey and sweet, the second half is a lot darker. The two halves didn't really fit together and it was kind of reading 2 different books.

The writing style was something I really enjoyed. It was quick and kept my attention all the time.

The characters didn't really act their age. At the end of the book I learned that Beatrice was 21 years old and I was kind of shocked. I really thought she was around 17/18 years old. So that wasn't really done well.

Thinking about this book, I'm still very confused. Normally I would give this book 2 stars, but since I was so invested in the story, I'm going to give it 3 stars.

Not a typical light love story of two persons that meet on the train.

In the book we meet Beatrice and Julian two individuals with tough childhood trying to survive and get a brighter future. While Beatrice has her everyday life on a schedule trying to balance extra credit at college and earn some money in a coffee shop. Julian is a young artist with a dark unknown past trying to get back on his dream to become an illustrator in NY.
Friendship starts to turn into something more when Julian's past comes to hunt him and the love story becomes a drama.

I like how the book presents different social backgrounds, adversities and will.
A good book for everyone, there is something new and interesting all along the book.

This was a cute little story. I wasnt expecting certain deep themes like anxiety and abusive relationships that in the end i wish it was talked a bit more and not wrapped up as quickly as it did.
I liked Beatrice a bit more than Julien, I really didn't get his personality and the way he was a bit too childish sometimes but overall it was a very romcom type of book that you enjoy while reading.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
