Tried to get into this, but it felt off as a lot was left unexplained - and which I only realized was this way because it is a translation from Korean. For example, the book keeps saying how everyone is surprised at how vulgar Soohyuk is, but there's no context for a non-Korean to understand why (It must come across in Korean, like a native/fluent speaker would get it). But what was most difficult for me was the constant head-hopping - every character gets their thought in. And where it's Soohyuk and Yuna, it's not clear whose head we're in, and the other's thought can pop in out of the blue, and this made it hard to follow.
Wasn't my cup of tea, unfortunately
I did not end up enjoying this book, unfortunately. This is one of those books that suffer from the translation, but the characters were also very hard to root for. I ended up not liking this book.
"Just the Two of Us" by Ryu Hyang is a delightful read that encapsulates the essence of a heartwarming relationship. The story beautifully weaves together the lives of its characters, creating a touching narrative that resonates with readers. The author's writing style is engaging, making it easy to get lost in the tale of two individuals and their journey together. The emotional depth and connection between the characters add a layer of authenticity to the storyline, making it a memorable and enjoyable book. Overall, "Just the Two of Us" is a charming exploration of love and companionship that leaves a lasting impression.
It took me a while to read this and I thought it was fun and cute but nothing particularly standing out
I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
This title was archived before I had a chance to download it to be read so unfortunately I was not able to read it and give feedback.

It’s cute. There I said then will I wait for part ii? Ah no. It’s a great story, typical story of both trauma survivors, but the wording is such a mishap. Would be nice to have it written in proper way to make the story more lovable. But for me it’s okay .

Perfect for fans of kdramas! I loved the realistic elements within this book, like the representation of OCD and trauma. However, the translation from Korean to English wasn't the best, and it made for a difficult, almost frustrating read.
I wish this had worked for me, but I was just never able to get into it! I tried multiple times but could never get past the first few chapters.
This book was just sadly not for me! I was hoping for something different but it turned out to be something I was not expecting, which is okay and I'm sure someone else would love it!
This has been on my TBR for several years now, and I can’t seem to make myself finish it. I’m sorry! I’m sure someone will love it, but it just isn’t for me.
I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. Cute cover. A cute romcom novel. Great weekend read.
I tried many times to get into this book, but unfortunately it just wasn’t for me. I had to dnf it. I read other reviews and they all said it might be the translation. Which I agree with, because some sentences were long and didn’t make sense.
The writing was well done and it was a nice story, but unfortunately this one was a miss for me. I couldn't identify with the characters. That being said, I think others would enjoy this book, it just wasn't a hit for me.
Uuuh, I had to dnf this one! Even the first several pages were so soo painful! I thinks the translation was problematic, but sadly, I couldn't finish it.
Unfortunately this book was not for me, I tried many times to complete but all ended with struggle. I will say though that the writing was really well done and the cover is absolutely gorgeous.
I’ve spent a year trying to read this book and I’m DNFing at 10%. The chapters are extremely long and sometimes the sentences don’t make sense. I honestly put it down to the translation maybe?
I had a hard time getting into this one and unfortunately it was not for me. This may be better suited to someone who has book 2 ready to go.
Tried reading this one and it just was not meant for me. This does not mean that it is not a good book, I just was not in the right place to be reading it and have decided to not try picking it up anytime in the near future.
