About 75% of the Catana web comics make me think, "How did they know? Who's been spying on us?!?" The previous collection, Snug, somehow had a higher percentage of the comics that feel more random or generic to me, so while I enjoyed that one I didn't LOVE it.

In Love & Pajamas though, this one is back to the I LOVE it status. So sweet and relatable, and the perfect way to start my reading year in 2021.

Every time I finish reading a Catana comic I feel 1% more happy in the most wholesome way. I think everyone I know has sent or received a comic by Catana at some point because she captures the sweet moments that make a relationship fun so well.

This collection was excellent. It was just pages of great content that I found myself smiling through. The cartoon work is excellent, and the content is relatable in a way that can speak to anyone with a loved one. There were a lot of funny and cute moments that were fun to read through!

After following Catana on Instagram for some time, I was happy to get the chance to read this collection. I’ll definitely be searching for her other book Snug next!

The ARC of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

One again Chetwynd offers a heartwarming look at the mundane moments of a relationship. The small gestures that show longtime companions that they are still loved and appreciated after all these years.

This book of comics about the author and her partner is cute, sweet, funny, and relatable. It would make a great gift for your significant other, which is probably why it will be released right before Valentine's Day.

I like starting the year with some relaxed reads, and this is the first of them. I've always loved Catana's comics online, and she focuses in them on loving and happy relationship anecdotes, and this collection is no different. It's heartwarming, sweet and really helped me to fly through it.

I thank Netgalley for the digital ARC

This was such a fun book to read and review! I’ve long been a fan of this comic and I love how humorously and beautifully she portrays the realities of romance and life with your spouse. I laughed out loud at some of these illustrations.

Catana Comics makes me laugh out loud at all her perfectly accurate, realistic portrayals of life in a relationship. I love these so much because there are so many instances of "oh wow that is us" in it for me and on at least 5 occasions I shared the tiles with my husband as I LOLed about how true they were.

This collection is all about being together through the silly weird things that make you - you. It is almost overly cutesy, but it is because you feel the love and trust through the characters and it is a warm and fuzzy that I am loving from books at the moment. I found this book to be everything I needed and more, to both read but also to remind me of the love that I have and really appreciate it for all its weirdness.

I would recommend this book to anyone that is in love, still in love, needs a warm and fuzzy feeling, or as a gift for Valentine's Day. It is a precious and relatable collection that is perfect for Spring.

I loved reading this alongside my partner and just to see how many of the pictures were just so accurate was a blast. One of my favorites!

I follow Catana comics online and this book made me appreciate them even more. They highlight the love, struggle, and little joys of Catana and her fiancé, John. I read this in multiple sittings because I wanted to savor them instead of devouring them. Highly recommend!

Love the way Catana Chetwynd captures the little moments of life and love that are so easily overlooked. She is one of my favorite cartoonists and I always look forward to a new book of hers. This one was fun and adorable and I cannot wait to be able to share it with my love.

This is the perfect time to write a book about being cozy in pajamas together 24/7, as that's what many of us have been doing during this stay-at-home time.

I follow this artist on Instagram and saw a few repeats of comics, but overall, this book evokes a strong feeling of love, adoration, quirkiness, and the comfort of being able to be yourself with each other. Catana is skilled at capturing the lovely everyday experiences that couples go through that we often take for granted. It is relatable, whimsical, and super cute.

I received a digital ARC through NetGalley from Andrews McMeel Publishing. This 3rd collection of Catana Comics is just more cuteness of a couple that are comfortable with each other and share these sweet intimate moments. I love relating to this couple, for instance, giving an impromptu fashion show because she just bought new clothes. I’m not alone, LOL. These little moments make you forget all the ugly things we let our minds dwell on. I’m always happy to read these collections

This is a cute read. At first, I had to get use to the format because I was not expecting varying entrees of the comic. Reminds me of a gathering of multiple newspaper entrees gathered together. Cute, many adaptable to how my husband and I act with each other. Worth the read if just for the smile it gives. I will be purchasing a copy once it comes out. My favorite page is the one in color and my favorite storyline is the one about getting nails done to scratch her husband's head.

I absolutely loved this. It’s so nice to see these sweet whole strips that show a healthy loving relationship. I was able to connect to the majority of them and can clearly feel the love between Catana and her partner

If you liked Snug and Little Moments in Love (Catana Chetwynd’s previous books), or follow Catana’s work on social media, then you will surely enjoy In Love & Pajamas. If you’re unfamiliar with her work, but are a hopeless romantic (like me), sort-of-an-antisocial-introvert and are head-over-heels in love, then this book will be perfect for you, too.

Don’t misunderstand me! I don’t think you must be in a relationship to enjoy it, but it does feel like a book meant to be shared with a partner, pointing and smiling at the images that remind you of each other, sending screenshots with fond messages and emojis: “This is sooooo you” or “This made me think of you” or "This is one reason I love you". It feels too, rather apt for these trying times —most scenes were indoors, capturing small moments that should resonate with every couple enduring the pandemic, and its stay-at-home orders, together under the same roof.

As expected, each comic is sweet and wholesome, with a slice-of-life quality that makes them feel achingly honest and funny. Love, without fanfare, without pretense, comfortable at home, free to be quirky and messy —that’s what shines through each page, and it made me smile. Even the most cynical skeptic, I would argue, would think these two in-love and applaud their relationship.

Though Catana’s art style has never been my favorite, it works. The simple, mostly black-and-white illustrations manage to convey dozens of emotions with very few lines, and the faces are extremely expressive despite their simplicity. Plenty of the comics are brand new, too —around 50%, according to the blurb. As a whole, the selection is charming, hilarious and a perfect example of what a healthy relationship can be and look like.

In Love & Pajamas will be published on the second of February, just in time to be a perfect Valentine's gift for your significant other. Don't pass it up, if your partner loves reading, comics or cute stuff, in general; it will be a lovely surprise.
