This is a cute read. At first, I had to get use to the format because I was not expecting varying entrees of the comic. Reminds me of a gathering of multiple newspaper entrees gathered together. Cute, many adaptable to how my husband and I act with each other. Worth the read if just for the smile it gives. I will be purchasing a copy once it comes out. My favorite page is the one in color and my favorite storyline is the one about getting nails done to scratch her husband's head.

I absolutely loved this. It’s so nice to see these sweet whole strips that show a healthy loving relationship. I was able to connect to the majority of them and can clearly feel the love between Catana and her partner

If you liked Snug and Little Moments in Love (Catana Chetwynd’s previous books), or follow Catana’s work on social media, then you will surely enjoy In Love & Pajamas. If you’re unfamiliar with her work, but are a hopeless romantic (like me), sort-of-an-antisocial-introvert and are head-over-heels in love, then this book will be perfect for you, too.
Don’t misunderstand me! I don’t think you must be in a relationship to enjoy it, but it does feel like a book meant to be shared with a partner, pointing and smiling at the images that remind you of each other, sending screenshots with fond messages and emojis: “This is sooooo you” or “This made me think of you” or "This is one reason I love you". It feels too, rather apt for these trying times —most scenes were indoors, capturing small moments that should resonate with every couple enduring the pandemic, and its stay-at-home orders, together under the same roof.
As expected, each comic is sweet and wholesome, with a slice-of-life quality that makes them feel achingly honest and funny. Love, without fanfare, without pretense, comfortable at home, free to be quirky and messy —that’s what shines through each page, and it made me smile. Even the most cynical skeptic, I would argue, would think these two in-love and applaud their relationship.
Though Catana’s art style has never been my favorite, it works. The simple, mostly black-and-white illustrations manage to convey dozens of emotions with very few lines, and the faces are extremely expressive despite their simplicity. Plenty of the comics are brand new, too —around 50%, according to the blurb. As a whole, the selection is charming, hilarious and a perfect example of what a healthy relationship can be and look like.
In Love & Pajamas will be published on the second of February, just in time to be a perfect Valentine's gift for your significant other. Don't pass it up, if your partner loves reading, comics or cute stuff, in general; it will be a lovely surprise.

Utterly delightful and impossible to dislike, this collection of short, sparse comics about living life with a loving partner is sure to leave you smiling. Fans of Catana Comics are sure to enjoy this third published collection of hers. Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced copy!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sending to me a copy for review,
I really surprised by how romantic and funny this comic was 😍 I’m not a big fan of comic books but this one wooow I enjoyed it a lot it full of heart worming, cute and funny moments that made me smile from the start to end.
So this comic is all about two Married couples and their life together and how each of them care for one another feeling and that was super romantic! 😍

This was simply adorable! I have always enjoyed Catana comics when I ran across them on the internet and if you similarly like the style, I feel like you would also love this little collection of comics. The content is very wholesome which I feel like we all need in our lives right now. Overall, would definitely recommend if you enjoy Catana's style or you are just in need of some cuteness to brighten your day.

Another relatable collection of comics from Catana Chetwynd, but it doesn't touch on anything quarantine related ... so it's a breath of fresh air in that regard.

This was my first book by Catana Comics and it was so cute! I loved the illustration style, and found myself smiling or laughing out loud at many of the pages. These scenes about relationships are super relatable and fun. This could make a great gift for your partner, or someone in a relationship that loves comic strip style books.

I'm a big fan of Catana Comics. I loved her last book, Snug, and her latest book, In Love & Pajamas, is no exception. Each comic is a delight to see and share with your loved one. Looking forward to buying it when it comes out.

I absolutely adore the book. The sketches and the relationship shown between characters is so real and fun. I loved the sketches. This book is a very quick read and you can read it in one sitting itself. Some of the scenes are my favorite. And some sketches will just make your heart soft. It is indeed a happy book.
I cannot wait to read more books by the author. The simplicity of the book, has won my heart. Can't wait to pick more books by her.

Fans of Catana Chetwynd will not be disappointed in this latest collection. These slice-of-life comics about relationships are sweet, funny and relatable.

Even though I am not in love and to be honest, I am not sure I really actually believe in love anymore, this adorable little comic does give me hope. I love Catana and John [and live for her new comics on Insta] and this was a fun little book to pass the evening with. If you are looking for fun and warm and fuzzy and true-to-life [someone's life anyway], this is the comic for you. It really is delightful.

This book was soooo cute! I loved getting to see Catana and Jon just be in love. It was such a cute and loving comic book. It was also extremely relatable. I definitely recommend!

Ahh! This was so cute! My husband has sent me Catana's comics on instagram for years, so when I saw this book I had to read it. This is a very short and sweet collection, that I feel most millennial introvert couples can probably relate to.

Comical, lovely and accurate in so many ways. I have adored Catana's artwork on her social for a while now and this adorable little book is perfect.

Catana comics shows how little things connect instantly with everyone. Small moments between a couple are depicted in a way that evokes giggles and happiness on every page.
You start reading and you fail to notice as you reach end at a rapid pace.
Comic character are already famous and need no introduction.

In Love & Pajamas
Author & Illustrator: Catana Chetwynd
Genre: Graphic Novel
Pages: 128
This collection of Catana Comics is written and illustrated by Catana Chetwynd. It depicts her relationship with her husband, John. The focus of this collection is on that point in the relationship when the couple reaches the cozy place where they can fully be themselves. This collection shows different aspects of their relationship such as working from home, deciding what is for dinner, going to social events (or not!), and many other routine relationship activities.
What I loved about this collection:
•The artwork is simple yet gorgeous. The artist clearly captures a wide range of emotions on her characters with very simple black and line drawing.
•The stories depicted in the comics are so authentic and relatable. I feel like Catana was depicting my relationship with my husband in many of these comics.
•I liked that the comics were stand-alone and linked by the relationship. Real relationships don’t have story arcs like a novel.
•That this book left me in a good mood and with a smile across my face.
I rated this collection as five stars and there isn’t anything I didn’t like. However, here are some items I would love more of in the future:
•I wanted to know more about Catana and John as people. This is my first introduction to Catana Comics – so this may be a “me” problem since I need to read some of the back material.
•I wanted to see how John and Catana got to this point in their relationship.
•I would have love to see more conflict between Catana and John. Even when you’re in the cozy part of your relationship, couples still fight but it is over really stupid things! For example, my husband and my biggest fight was over the proper way to defrost meat (in the fridge or on the counter).
I would highly recommend this graphic novel, especially to folks who have hit the cozy spots in their relationship. You will find the artwork to be gorgeous, the stories to be cute, and I bet you will be happier having read this delightful collection.
