This book spoke to my introvert soul!!! If you’ve ever been in a serious relationship and consider yourself an introvert this book brings all the feels. It’s so cute and it basically reminisces on all the lovey dovey moments a couple has. I really never thought how universal they are, the silent war of who the dog goes to first, the different types of hugs we apparently all do, that love/hate feeling about being social, and many more! I’ll be looking for more of her comics for sure!

I was introduced to Catana Chetwynd's illustrations through her first printed volume, "Little Moments of Love." Her style is very distinctive - rather simplistic with few details. "In Love & Pajamas" is perfectly timed to coincide with the COVID-19 pandemic and the many hours couples spend at home, socially distanced from friends, family, and workplaces. Overall, the theme is sweet, and in some ways, I relate to the couple featured in her comics because my husband and I don't have children (together) and get pretty wrapped up in each other to the exclusion of most people.

However, some of these comics make me uncomfortable because the characters seem very co-dependent. The female character appears to literally smother the male character. Also, the themes are very gender-stereotypical. If that works for Chetwynd and her partner, that's fine but that's not necessarily what I seek in the books I read, especially comics/graphic novels.

Reading these books is an easy way to spend an hour, but having looked through two of them, I don't feel the need to seek out any others.

This book was so cute and simple and heartwarming. Everything about it was just pure cuteness. It was one of the books that just feel like a big old hug. The things it talks about was very heart touching.

The art style was very beautiful. It was simple yet impactful. The colours were eye-catching. The book overall was very engaging and it kept giving me warm feelings throughout

Super sweet, cutesy comic observations on a healthy relationship. The collection is all about having a partner who completely accepts you for who you are, foibles and idiosyncrasies included.

This book is like curling up with a warm blanket on a cold day. Romantic, funny, and sweet. This book is exactly as good as I expected it to be.

This is a collection of comics about being comfortable with your partner. Catana and her husband John spend lots of time together at home and in their pajamas in these comics. Each page had a different short comic with the theme of love.

These comics were relatable regardless of the reader’s relationship status. They talked a lot about wanting to stay cozy in bed. I could relate to the comics about being short, including all the things you need help with reaching. There were even some cute ones featuring their dog.

These comics about wanting to stay home in pajamas are very relatable right now since most of us are spending more time at home than ever before. Even if you don’t have a partner, the feeling of love and comfort can be relatable to any reader.

This is a cute comic collection!

I loved reading this book! I have followed Catana comics on Instagram for years now and absolutely love them! These comics make me chuckle and reading them feels like a warm hug. The relatability of the comics just adds an extra layer of charm. These comics focus on what it's like to love someone and the small things of doing life together with someone else. Even though I had read many of these comics before, I loved getting to revisit them and gladly will once again in the future.

I really like Chetwynd's art style, all big heads and big emotions, and that style carries this collection of single strip comics. The scenarios are cute and charming and elicit sensible chuckles, but the sweetness does at times get to be too much. That said though it's nice to see a healthy, long-term, loving, cute relationship depicted where both people in the couple are smart, kind, and loving. We need more of those examples in our books, tv shows, and movies.

My Review: I adored this book, it perfectly captures the strangeness of the last year. It also did a great job of capturing those unique and tiny moments that make a relationship and make it last through all the struggles of life. The art style is adorable, of course, and I absolutely love it. This is definitely a book I can't wait to add to my shelves and pick up whenever I need that reminder to look at the tiny moments to find the keys to a relationship.

My Rating: I really adored this graphic novel/comic collection, it really captures a sweet and unique relationship, all the little quirks and moments that are found in a relationship. It definitely reminded me to look at those moments in my own marriage and treasure them all the more. I give it a rating of Four Paws!

I really enjoyed reading this. I’ve loved Catana Comics for a while and love the illustration style. The comics were short and to-the-point in the sense that they were all related to life and relationship/ living together during the quarantine.

If you’re looking for a quick, heartwarming read with super cute illustrations about relationships, this book is for you!

I seriously LOVE Catana comics, and prior to getting my hands on this one am an avid reader of the comics on Facebook. They are adorable and hilarious and make me wish for a cute relationship like Catana depicts of her and her guy have in their day-to-day lives...honest, quirky fun!

In Love and Pajamas is a compilation of the comic strip by the same name. I enjoyed reading through each of the comics . They follow the author/illustrator's life with her fiancé pretty accurately to real life. The comics are cute without too many words getting in the way. The illustrations tell the story. This was a cute, quick read that I recommend to anyone in any time of romantic relationship.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion.

'In Love & Pajamas: A Collection of Comics about Being Yourself Together' by Catana Chetwynd is another collection of comics from the creator of 'Little Moments of Love.'

The comics in this collection, much like the first one, center on being in love and cozy. That means fighting the urge to get out of bed. There are naps to take and a couch to sleep on. There are just a bunch of things to share, like movies and hugs.

This is a really cute collection of comics and I liked it as much as the first one. The art is pretty cute too.

I've followed Catana Comics for a while and love every book she comes out with. I frequently race to my own partner in excitement to show a comic that captures our own relationship so well. Much needed humor and incredibly sweet.

Firstly, I am a fan of all the comics by Catana. This collection, "In Love & Pajamas" is a perfect, light book to browse through with your special someone.

Last year I bought "Little Moments of Love" for my fella for Valentine's Day and we had fun picking out the comics that best suited our relationship. This new release was as endearing and enjoyable as I had hoped.

Adorable and relatable sketches of love. I will be buying a hard copy to keep on my shelf at home.

This is an excellent collection of panels showing the couple that I am sure everyone has seen online before. Even if you have not seen them, they depict a solid relationship's everyday-ness that you might recognize yourself in it. This time around, with the quarantine, a few show some of those scenes as well.
I have not seen the posts on Instagram recently, so I was reading all of these for the first time. Some of them are cute, others a little too sappy, but they are all sincere and an easy read. It can be read either at a stretch or in bits and pieces, randomly based on the mood.
I received an ARC thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, but the review is entirely based on my own reading experience.

A collection of comics that makes you feel good about the daily stuff that goes with being in a long term relationship. I found myself laughing and nodding at quite a few of these thinking that is me and my husband to a T. It also made me realize that no its not just us that these things happen to and that maybe laughing instead of getting frustrated is the better route, so thank you for the lesson Catana! Overall if you need a quick pick me up and have been with your partner for long enough that you know them better than yourself check these out!

I love love these comics! They're adorable depictions of healthy, sweet, and mutual love between a couple. It is always great to have this as we need to normalize it more! The couple, if I'm not mistaken is based on the author/illustrator's relationship, is just so pure. Who doesn't want a relationship that is not only equal but you feel safe being yourself?

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC for my honest review.
