I loved Get Good with Money! It includes so much helpful information and lots of resources about budgeting and finances. I appreciated the chapter breakdown with different areas of financial wholeness and will definitely be returning to some of my highlights to review.

Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this book. I've read a lot of books about budgeting, and in comparison this book is full of helpful information and steps to take to repair/improve your finances. The author is down to earth and positive - which is a nice change of pace compared to the usual shame/judgement of popular finance books. It includes realistic stories, additional information from other experts, and is easy to understand.

In addition, the author provides additional resources on her website, referenced in the book. I think every high school and college student should read this book and/or anyone wanting to improve their credit/finances.

4.5 rounded up

This book is good for all American readers as it deals with primarily their health coverage and retirement services. The second half of the book does not apply to all countries, but the first half does give you some good basics. How to get out of debt, how to save, how to create a workable and budget and most importantly why. Tiffany tells of her own struggles with debt and losing the things that mattered to her. Readers do need to go through with eyes open as they need to pick which parts are right for their lives and what they can actually apply to themselves, but overall it was a good resource for someone looking into gaining financial stability.

I was so excited to get my hands on this book! I was ecstatic when I first learned that the Budgnista had written a book because I was looking for a playbook, a one-stop source, that I could refer to throughout my financial journey. This book is just that. It is for the new budgeter, the side hustle queen, and the financially secure. Using her unique style, Tiffany Aliche provides honest and relatable guidance on how to get good with money.

Get Good with Money is a great financial resource that can be used by anyone. In the book, Aliche breaks down financial wholeness into easy-to-follow steps. In each chapter, she provides background information, defines financial terms, and provides actionable steps that the reader can make to help him/her reach each level of financial wholeness. Additionally, there are resources in the book that can be used while you are reading the book and as you continue working on your finances.

Anyone and everyone should read this book. If you are in the beginning financial journey to financial wholeness, like me, you will find tools and resources that will help you now and in the future. You may find that in some areas of your life you are financially whole and in others you are not- and that’s okay. Tiffany’s warm, witty, and approachable personality shines through this book. I would give this book 10 stars if I could!

This is the best financial book I have ever read. This book is so thorough and organized. It is divided into percentages that equal up to being “100% financially whole.” Each of the sections goes into great detail about important topics such as “how to pay off your student loans,” “how to build up your net worth,” and “how to start investing effectively.” As a 21-year-old, reading this book has helped me feel like I am setting up my future right. I now have a useful framework for making smart choices with my money. Tiffany Aliche is hilarious and the book feels like conversing with an older sister who is helping me learn from her past mistakes while teaching me some valuable money lessons along the way. Her advice is simple to understand, yet so powerful. There are also worksheets in the back of the book that you can easily fill out to strengthen your financial literacy and understanding. My favorite concepts from the book were how to create a Noodle Budget (game-changer!), seeing your credit score as your Grade Point Average (GPA), a simple calculation to determine how to retire early, and practicing mindful budgeting and spending habits. Thank you Tiffany Aliche!

And thank you NetGallery and Rodale.Inc for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
