Due to a sudden, unexpected passing in the family a few years ago and another more recently and my subsequent (mental) health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for several years after the bereavements. This means I can't leave an accurate reflection of my feelings towards the book as I am unable to read it now and so I am leaving a message of explanation instead.

I am now back to reading and reviewing full time as once considerable time had passed I have found that books have been helping me significantly in terms of my mindset and mental health - this was after having no interest in anything for quite a number of years after the passings.

Anything requested and approved will be read and a decent quality review written and posted to Amazon (where I am a Hall of Famer & Top Reviewer), Goodreads (where I have several thousand friends and the same amount who follow my reviews) and Waterstones (or Barnes & Noble if the publisher is American based). I’m a big fan of this guy, and love his podcasts too. Thank you NetGalley for the advance copy, I would happily buy more books from him, I like his straight forward sensible approach to losing weight in a healthy way.

I've been a fan of Dr Chattergee's podcast for a while and this is a good compilation of some of the subjects that have been discussed over the years. A very straightforward and sensible guide to weight loss and how lifestyle as well as food and exercise impacts it. beautifully presented and the information is bite-sized (!) and clear.

I’m a big fan of Chattergee since was pleased to be offered the opportunity to review this. It didn’t disappoint. Chattergee’s advice on losing weight and feeling good is sustainable and sensible.

There are great tips and suggestions for creating habits for weight loss. I thought this was a great book and look forward to implementing some of the suggestions. I enjoy Dr. Chatterjee's writing style and find it easy to read.

I love Dr Chatterjee, i read all his books and i always listen to his podcast episodes. He is so inspiring and his simple facts and steps by step guides make it easy to apply his book to your life. This was really good read, easy and great facts, Made me look at loosing weight in a different way

I am starting a journal and food log to track my eamotional triggers to eating. My next step is the 5 minute lift of a morning and the time restricted eating. I feel confident I can make these life long changes that will leave me much happier and healthier.

Super inspiring no nonsense guide without being a diet book. This is more of an approach to improve your lifestyle than some fad scheme to quickly lose weight, thereby being a sustainable solution to reach a healthy weight. Highly recommend this!

Great book! Very informative and the writing style was easy to read and understand what the author was portraying to you. Very useful information and definitely lasting information as well.

Honestly the diet part of this book isn’t something new. What this book does that others don’t really touch on is the why. Figuring out your why you gain weight. Why you have issues, why you sabotage yourself without knowing it. This was a game changer for me. So glad I read this. Dr. Chatterjee is really a must read author for anyone wanting to improve their quality of life.

4 stars. Recently, I've been trying to be better at the whole exercise and cleaner eating thing, so I jumped at the change to read this book. It's full of helpful tips and practical strategies -- nothing groundbreaking here, but it's definitely helpful to have a reminder every so often.

The advice is realistic, easy, and logical. There's no magic tricks, no starving yourself or cutting out your favorite foods; rather, this is a practical, easy to follow approach to the hard work of weight loss and exercise.

I'd definitely recommend Feel Great, Lose Weight to anyone who is trying to do just that. Thanks to NetGalley and BenBella Books for the opportunity to read it in return for my honest opinion.

This book didn't tell me TOO much I didn't already know, but the approach was excellent. I loved not feeling guilty for the way things have gotten and having a clear way to move forward. Excellent information, great advice, and would highly recommend.

I have mixed feelings about this book.

On one hand, it's not your usual diet book and it focuses a lot on good common sense advice and how diet are individual things and what worked for one person might not work the same for another. Which is cool, cool, cool.

On the other hand, it completely ignores eating disorders and it also offers some bullsh*t diet propaganda - like maybe you are not hungry, you just need a glass of water.

So I am torn, because overall I don't think it's a bad book, I don't think his intentions are bad, but I wish the book was more aware about eating disorders and how triggering some things can be. And I also found some advice silly (like telling the coworker who brings sweets at work to maybe stop... of course, he said it in a nicer way than this, but I still find that a tad bit rude and self-centered).

Overall, it's not that bad of a diet book. It reads easily and the pictures are gorgeous.

This was an easy read, with some great tips on taking a more holistic approach to healthy eating and lifestyle. Lots of tips and tricks on forming better habits in a way that didn't seem intimidating or complex. I hadn't previously heard of Dr. Chatterjee but will definitely be checking out his podcast and other books. He has a supportive and inspiring tone- not getting too bogged down in the science, but enough to explain why his solutions work, and explained in a non-condescending way.

This was really educational for me, and I learnt alot of stuff that I didn't know, when I finished listening when straight to the podcast for more of the info on fasting which was so fascinating!!

I'm buying this book for my friend as soon as it comes out. It was like Dr. R was talking straight to her!! I think this book could be really useful to her as well as myself

Feel Great,Lose Weight , is a common sense approach to the basic concerns of weight loss..Easy to implement suggestions include what to eat, when to time your eating, and emphasizing sleep and the role it plays on weight loss.
