This is a very good book. I like the tidbits that allow you to take from it what you may. This book can be very helpful to a person who needs to make adjustments in their life. Made me do some thinking. I would recommend it.

I enjoyed this book a great deal. It is a short read, but full of informative tidbits. There are no questions that this book is different from other self-help books. Nevertheless, after stepping back and reading what others thought from different reviews, I realized that this book is written amazingly.
The author gave you just what he said in the book description and introduction. This book does not tell you what to do, but allows you to think about what needs to be done. When I started to think about it, I liked it much better. I do not need or want someone I do not know and does not know me to tell me what is best for me. That is what most self-help books do. They are a one size fits all.
After I finished the book, I went back and reread the book description and the introduction. I found out that you must this beforehand to understand what to expect from this book fully. I then reread the first part of the book and understood so much better what the author was trying to convey. The book was about me, my reaction to things, and the choices I make, and their outcomes. The numerous bits and pieces of wisdom allow you to come to your own conclusion.
I never saw one reference to scratching your head, but I did see where you were allowed to think. If thinking and making your own decision is not for you, this book is not for you. If you enjoy self-help books that lead you through every step, then this book is not for you.
There may be one problem with the book. An international audience may not understand it fully. It is written from an American perspective with some odd American country sayings. But as the book said, it is okay to do it differently.
Many lines from the book drew me in, but one that stands out as I write this more than others. “The book means nothing; the words mean everything.” I believe with the writer; the book really means nothing. Yet, the words inside, for some, can mean everything.
I highly recommend you give the book a shot. Yet if you are looking for the same old style self-help book, stay away. There is no leading you to water in this book. The book is about You and no one else.

This is a collEction of pithy sayings. Some truly make one think. Others are trite. Still others, head-scratchers. I would not recommend this book to anyone. It’s not that there aren’t a few gems, There are. But as the author notes at the outset, some will scratch their head. I am one of those. And I like thought provoking, pithy statements
