Thank you so much to NetGalley for sending me a copy of this book! I loved the idea of this book and I absolutely loved the execution! I can’t wait to read the next book!

In this post apocalyptic the women are all but extinct. Ara is one of the few remaining females alive, or possibly the last.

I liked the premise of this story, the plot overall was good. But the characters fell flat for me, and their relationships seemed forced. It felt like they were trying to keep it a secret that Ara was special, but it was completely obvious. And also basically the plot to I am Legend and the last of us.

I appreciated how the author made the MC into a badass that could take care of and protect herself. And I like the cover.

This book was sadly not it for me. I loved the cover and I liked the premise, but the writing style and execution was not what I need in a book. Ara and Kayden's relationship didn't have the spark I would have wanted to see.
Thanks to Wattpad books for the free arc!

This cover is amazing! The Last She wasn't what I expected going in- but this novel pleasantly surprised me. Each character felt real in their own way and I was always eager to find out what would happen in their story next.

****4 stars!

“To the end of one world--and the beginning of another. From the ashes may we rise reborn.”

First I would like to thank Wattpad Books and NetGalley for allowing me to read an ARC of this book! I appreciate the opportunity to read this book and give it an honest review.

This was a very fun Dystopian book with a very interesting plot, which follows a girl named Ara who is the last woman alive after a virus that infected the world. The idea for this book was so very creative and I really enjoyed reading about this apocalyptic world. The pacing of this book was very well done, I felt as if I flew through this book the moment I picked it up to read it.

The characters were all very interesting; it was very shocking for the others to stumble across a girl after so long without them, so that was something I found to be very intriguing! Ara and Kaden were wonderful characters, I really enjoyed the banter between them and the chemistry.

It was also interesting to see how the clans worked. I felt the world was very wonderfully described and very easy to be able to picture as I read!

This is a book I would definitely recommend if you’re interested in a Dystopian setting with a creative plot! I look forward to reading more from this author in the future!

I love a good dystopian read and this one was great. Ara will not give up her goal of trying to end the plaque and nothing will stand in her way.

This one was not for me.

This book follows Ara, the last girl alive after a devastating virus infects the world. She is working to follow her father's last instructions to her when she crosses paths with Kaden and his crew. It's safe to say that they were pretty surprised to find a girl alive.

I was very excited to start this book and learn more about this apocalyptic world the author created. I thought it was such a great idea, but unfortunately this book just wasn't for me. I felt that the characters fell flat and didn't have a lot of development throughout the story. I really wanted to love Ara, but I just couldn't feel connected to her character. I think it would have been helpful to have more of an internal view to the characters choices and feelings. I just felt separated from them.

Despite this, I do think someone who loves apocalyptic literature would enjoy this book! It just wasn't for me.

Overall I did enjoy this book but it took me a bit to get into. I ended up borrowing it from my library to finish it and reread sections. Highly recommend for fans of the Hunger Games and the 100.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This definitely intrigued me considering the state of the world at the moment. The Last She hooked me in some ways but I did struggle to get through it. I couldn't connect to the main character which always makes it harder for me to get through.

This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster. My feelings towards the
characters were always changing. Every character had many great traits, but
they also all had flaws. I could sympathize with them. I’m interested in checking out book two. I would recommend this book.

WOW this was one crazy, post-apocalyptic ride and I was hooked right from the start. It reminded me a lot of the maze runner mixed with the chaos walking series-had so many great elements of fear, suspense, and navigating the world after an unknown disease wiped out the majority of the population. Our main character, Ara, just may be the very last female left and is captured by a clan of men while attempting to steal supplies from them-and the story immediately takes off from there.

This book gave me so many feels and it really takes a lot for me to be so emotionally invested in a story that I teared up when a character died. The writings of the various post-apocalyptic was so descriptive and immaculate, it felt like i was watching a movie while reading. I am definitely kicking myself for waiting so long to pick it up, but am looking forward to singing its praise for anyone and everyone who will listen now that it is out in publication.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Wattpad Books for providing me with a copy for review!

I am so happy to finally be reviewing this book. It's not typically what I go for when I read but I am so glad I did. This book was my first post-apocalyptic book and I'm so happy it was! It's fast paced, interesting, and such an easy read, which was a good thing. Definitely going to buy a physical copy.

Set several years after a virulent, deadly disease has ravaged the United States, Ara is the only female that has been seen in a long time. After losing her father, she sets out on her own only to be captured by a band of men out on a scouting mission. Ara must then negotiate the gender politics of this new world where she is a highly sought after commodity all the while trying to carry out her father's last wish for her to look into the origins of the disease that brought society to it's knees.

This was a very gritty book. There were several times that I think a trigger warning should have been marked. The story was interesting but not compelling.
