Thank you to the author and publisher for providing me with a digital ARC of this title via Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
3.5 stars I am always drawn to books set around libraries or book shops and this one seemed cute and fun. The story lived up to everything I hope it would be. It was an easy, quick read that was enjoyable and easy to get lost in. I wanted to hop in a little van and travel around Europe with the characters. They were all likeable with different backgrounds and hopes and dreams. I found myself cheering for each of them and excited to hear how their stories ended. A cute, sweet story that I would easily recommend to friends.

Loved this book. It was a little mix of P.S. I Love You and opening your heart after losing the greatest love and realizing it is okay to love again. I loved Aria’s story and her band of friends who travel with her. Such a beautiful story.

Title: Aria’s Travelling Book Shop
Author: Rebecca Raisin
Genre: Fiction
Rating: 4.5 out of 5

This summer will change everything!

Aria Summers knows what she wants.

A life on the road with best friend Rosie and her beloved camper-van-cum-book-shop, and definitely, definitely, no romance.

But when Aria finds herself falling – after one too many glasses of wine, from a karaoke stage – into the arms of Jonathan, a part of her comes back to life for the first time in years.

Since her beloved husband died Aria has sworn off love, unless it’s the kind you can find in the pages of a book. One love of her life is quite enough.

And so Aria tries to forget Jonathan and sets off for a summer to remember in France. But could this trip change Aria’s life forever…?

This was such a fun read! I enjoyed Rosie’s story before this, and Aria’s story was just as enjoyable. Tea and books: my favorites. I relished all the literary references, and Aria has such a knack for landing herself in scrapes that it made me laugh. A quick read that’s just pure pleasure.

Rebecca Raisin loves books. Aria’s Travelling Book Shop is her newest novel.

I was excited to dive into this book because a book about a traveling bookshop? Yes please! Sadly, the excitement ended pretty early on and the book just didn't quite deliver for me. I didn't really feel the romance between the two main characters at all. There was just something missing that made this book fall flat, and frankly, I found myself getting bored at times. Maybe I'll pick it back up one day and try again!

Not enough romance. Aria spent most of the book talking and reading French food. I just wasn't satisfied.

Aria's Travelling Book Shop

A story about overcoming grief, the healing power of books, and a wonderful homage to romance novels and authors!
Thanks to HQ Digital and NetGalley for the ARC.
I loved Rosie's Traveling Tea Shop and I was really hoping that I would love this one, especially since I can relate to Aria's love of books so much. Unfortunately, #2 was not a hit with me. The problem was that I was a bit bored with the story. Rosie and Aria spent way more time than necessary talking about Aria's vow to never love again.
I also felt zero chemistry between Aria and Jonathon. Not a book I can recommend, Sorry.

Thank you for a nice refreshing read. I started this book and did not realize that there was this was a book from a series. I almost did not finish it but thought lets keep going and so I did. I was glad I finished and it did not matter if I read the books before. I had a relaxing read which is just what I needed.

I received this book to review through Netgalley for my honest review. Sadly, I did not like this book. Simply put, I was bored. I was hoping to understand the world of van life as Aria so often mentions in every chapter. But instead the main character spends her time deciding whether or not she wants to pursue a guy she met at a music festival and who happens to pop up literally everywhere she goes - strange coincidence? I also found that everything was too much happily ever after. I felt like it was a Hallmark but in book form, where everything wounds up exactly how you expected. I had to push myself to finish this book. I read another book of the authors and enjoyed it. This was fell flat for me due to its predictable ending and the characters seem to be flat with no real development.

I will NEVER miss another book by this author. After reading this book she became an auto buy for sure.

This book was so emotional and beautiful. I loved the scenery as much as the characters. The author describes everything in such a way I could imagine being there right beside the characters. I can’t recommend this book highly enough. Le sigh

A sweet, fluffy story about dealing with losing the love of your life and being open to continuing to live life to the fullest.

This book is such a gem! It is written for bibliophiles everywhere. Three years ago Aria Summers lost her beloved husband TJ from the wretched beast cancer. During that time Aria has become a "nomad" and travels in her van with other Van Lifers. Aria has planned to travel with her friends Rosie and Max through the South of France for the summer selling their wares at traveling fairs and roadside shops. Aria is a passionate reader of books and can spend days doing nothing but reading. The day they are to leave a package arrives and Aria must face the demons of her past and come to terms with the promises she made to her dying husband. During her travels in France, Aria reminisces about her husband, while also being intrigued by a man whom she keeps crossing paths with. She needs to decide if her heart is big enough for another great love or if she is really okay to live the rest of her life on her own.

This story is so charming. The characters are lovely and the descriptions of their travels in France are fantastic! While reading I made notes of all the places the author mentioned because I feel destined to go! I felt so happy while reading about Aria and Rosie. This is a follow-up book to Rosie's Travelling Tea Shop, which I haven't read. I didn't feel confused about the backstory of Rosie, although if you haven't read that book first you will get minor spoilers in this book. That didn't bother me. This is a story for anyone who has lost a great love and who wonders what else life has to offer them. It is also a perfect story for anyone who has a bit of wanderlust in their soul and who loves to escape into the world of books. This is for anyone who loves a happily ever after. This is my first read of Rebecca Raisin's, but it certainly will not be my last! Thank you to NetGalley, Harper 360, and Rebecca Raisin for providing me with this advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Grab your tissues and buckle down for this one, it's way more than just a traveling book shop premise. The slow-burn romance is one of my favorite and the heartstring pulls Rebecca Raisin had in this one was just the perfect start of fall season read. This was the perfect second installment in this series and I am very excited for what will be coming out next. This can be read as a standalone but the first book is just too good to not read.

I was so curious to read all about her and her best friend Rosie and their adventures on the road, but also see if her spark with Jonathan pans out as well.

Such a fun and beautiful book! I loved the slow-burn romance, the friendships developed on the road, and the refusal to gloss over the realities of heartbreak. This book was exactly the thing I needed to ease my way into fall, and I can't wait to read more by the author!

Emotional and Atmospheric
I love so much about this book it is filled with so many of the things I love. Books, Tea, Travel, Campfires, hopeless romantics. It really inspired me to dream. This is a book you curl up on a porch swing with a cozy blanket and a cup of tea with. Its sad but full of hope. Great read. Definitely recommend it for lovers of contemporary romance!
