Always been a big fan of Jen. Love her books, the audiobooks especially as hearing her words, right from her own mouth, can't get any better. I read this one as I was gifted a copy via NetGalley. LOVED it.

The science has been saying it for years--the benefits of journaling is a great tool to release stress and to get things worked out. It certainly is cathartic when I am really feeling upset. I love how these books are all the rave to help more people make journaling a habit with the prompts and suggested guidelines. This is a great get to know thyself through journaling guide. #NetGalley

I did not connect with this book and found the prompts typical self-help fair. It was a struggle to finish and perhaps you have to be in the mindset or mood for this type of self-discovery, but was not thought-provoking. For die-hard fans only

I really like Jen Hatmaker, but there really wasn't much to this- it's really just a workbook, not a book. As such, it's really not suited to an ebook format.

I have been doing this one for a couple weeks now, but read it all first. I don't have the companion book, I'm on the waitlist at my local library for it. I love Jen Hatmaker and really have felt connected to her through her many books, this workbook is no different.

Thanks to Thomas Nelson and NetGalley for the ARC. This is a companion book to one already published. I didn't read that one so I read this one straight through. Classic Hatmaker. This workbook/journal style q&a will certainly appeal to Jen's loyal fanbase although I'm not sure there is any new or revolutionary content. Designed as weekly reflective prompts, I read found this journal guide to be light and enjoyable.

Do you know who you are? Do you know what you want? In this book you will learn about yourself by doing a journal with her guidelines. It’s using her topics to finding out about yourself. It’s amazing what you can find out about yourself. You take the time to sit down and look upon what you are ignoring. One gets so busy that it’s easy to lose yourself. It’s important to know the real you. I did find out that this is a “sequel” to the book “Fierce, free, and full of fire . . .” . I still think it’s not absolutely necessary as it seems that there is information from the first book. It’s a good book that will definitely help you to find the you that you truly are.

GLORIOUS YOU: YOUR ROAD MAP TO BECOMING FIERCE, FREE, AND FULL OF FIRE.
BY: JEN HATMAKER

How many of you incorporate keeping a journal in your life? This is something that I have been encouraged to do. With this inspirational companion book to Jen Hatmaker's book titled, "Becoming Fierce, Free, and Full of Fire," Jen has written another standalone book to encourage us towards self-growth, Evolving into our authentic selves, and introspection. She is positive and I absolutely have found so much value in this latest offering by her. She takes each week in which she empowers the reader towards self growth by writing down in your own journal, (nobody else has to see it) prompts to reach self actualization. That is really where we are vibrating on our highest frequency.

I loved this message so much that I am going to read her book that I believe she has generously shared excerpts from to create such a powerfully unique tool towards self examination. There is some great food for thought written in this guide to journal answers to some really fantastic questions about how we are living our lives. Some points that she makes that stand out for me is how I can love and embrace my body more and accept it, better said appreciate what it has allowed me to accomplish. There is a money making industry out there she reminds me that buys into how to look younger, for example. I have wrestled with buying products to *attempt* to look more youthful and have personally been hard on myself for what is natural in life--that growing older and looking so is a negative. When instead I am grateful to have lived this long and to be in good health, (knock on wood).
Another stand out concept she challenged me is to ask for help from someone and in asking be specific in what the ask is. I have been blessed with some authentically generous friend's who I have been helped by their ability to listen and not judge. I want to extend myself to being a better listener. I want to comfort the people in my life that I intuitively feel could benefit from my service to them.
I can't praise Jen Hatmaker enough for her 52 weekly journal prompts. This is do able because it is only once per week versus everyday. I am grateful for discovering this Author's wisdom and am seeking out her previous work and will continue to follow whatever she writes. I didn't expect to be so impressed by a book that encouraged people to journal--But I am. I loved it!

I did a couple weeks worth of prompts and found this to be a "fun" deep dive into myself. While I didn't finish the book yet, I'm excited to put it into practice in the way it is meant to be used. It was thought provoking and engaging and made me want to dig deeper into myself to understand me more.

“Glorious You: Your Road Map to Becoming Fierce, Free, and Full of Fire”is the guided journal companion to , “Fierce, Free, and Full of Fire.” both written by Jen Hatmaker.

Jen's voice in this book is filled with power, hope and her delightful sense of humor. This journal is exactly what you would hope from Jen. If you love her books, you will love this. A great addition to the Hatmaker media collection, this is an easy and accessible guided handbook to finding out who you really are.

At this point, I feel like if you have read one of Hatmaker's books, you've read them all. Our patrons were definitely clamoring for those early books, but interest has waned. The themes and advice are repetitive and many have cooled to her in light of some of her recent media exposure.

I felt this! There were so many truths that as a woman I feel on a daily basis. I liked the positive message this author brought, I liked how it was broken down weekly and all the different assessments and self reflection I got to do. This was an inspiring read and so relevant to these times.

Thank you to NetGalley and Nelson books for access to this ARC.
