The Private series is one of my favourite series of James Patterson, so obviously excited to read this one and I wasn't disappointed.

The plot keeps better as the series progresses and this has to be one of my favourites. It filled with twists and turns and you won't be able to stop reading until you finish.

Thank you NetGalley and Random House UK for this ARC!!

I didn't find this book interesting. It did not grab me or make me want to keep reading to see what happened.

#PrivateRogue #NetGalley Another great installment in the Private series. James Patterson sure knows how to do collaboration well! Plenty of page turning action from the first page that kept me glued to the pages well into the night to follow Jack on his mission to keep Beth and her children safe and find her husband and return him safely to her. What I love about these books is that the chapters are short which keep me saying "just one more chapter" over and over again. Plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader on their toes with a satisfying ending all round. An excellent read!

Love all James Patterson books and this one was excellent!
I thoroughly enjoyed Private Rogue, which is an action packed thriller with an international setting and an interesting motive. The narrative is split three ways between the pilot in Afghanistan and his efforts to evade capture, Beth and her efforts to evade capture in New York and Jack’s efforts to save them all and work out what is worth killing for.

The novel is very evenly paced as it’s high octane, tense and thrilling throughout. It does require a certain suspension of disbelief as the characters not only escape certain death on several occasions but have the nous to fight back, but then, that’s vintage Patterson. Why let a little reality get in the way of constant thrills and spills? On the other hand, Russian mercenaries and spies running an operation against Americans is not as outlandish a proposition as it might have been 10 years ago. I’m not going to pretend that I understand the science underpinning the motive, don’t know if it’s possible and don’t really care, but I can grasp the importance of it. Thank goodness the reveal doesn’t come until near the end of the novel and the authors don’t dwell on it.a brief mention is enough so that it doesn’t detract or distract from the general mayhem.

Co-written by James Patterson and Adam Handy. Does this book really need reviewing? It immediately engages the reader, demands reading in as short a time as possible and leaves one disappointed that it ended.

Another outstanding Patterson book, unputdownable and a real page turner, the Private series is one of Patterson's best. It's a book that you can't wait to get to the end of for all of the right reasons and once finished you immediately wish you could read it all over again.

Another great collaboration with Adam Hamdy.
As ever fast paced, action packed and with twists and turns a plenty!!
Any fan of these two authors will love this book.
Being book 16 of the series, if you have read the previous books you will understand the back story much better.

So be ready to clear your schedule as once you have started you won’t want to put this down!!

Thank you to Netgalley, the publishers and most importantly the author, for the chance to read this book, in exchange for an honest review.

Jack Morgan is back in what he thinks is going to be a quick and easy case. A loving father is trying to find his daughter and grandchildren who have seemingly disappeared into thin air.

A military operation on Afghan soil goes wrong and Josh Floyd is the sole survivor having watched his comrades perish. He must try to make his way to safety without being caught by the enemy. He is unaware of the danger he is in or that he is being hunted.

Beth Singer and her two children are on their way home from school when their car is flagged to be pulled over by the police. Beth spots a few red flags which point to there being something amiss and she accelerates and speeds away. Arriving at what she sees as the family’s safe place, a cabin in the woods, it becomes apparent that she is being followed and someone wants her and her children for whatever reason.

What ensues next is Jack trying to locate Beth and her children and bring them back to safety but in doing so he may have to face his deepest, darkest nightmares as he is forced to go to Afghanistan. In what becomes a race against time can Jack and Private save the day.

A thoroughly enjoyable read. Always good to revisit what seems like old friends. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced read copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

There’s a reason why James Patterson is named the world’s bestselling author and he proves it more and more with each story that has his name on it.
Private Rogue is no exception from the norm. Everything you may expect is there between the pages of this book. From a n intriguing start to this story to a full fast paced gripping game of hide and seek and even catch me if you can, this novel had me engrossed so much in the action that I barely took a break until I finished reading the last page.
Great writing, captivating story and characters that have more to give than the eye can see.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy.

Jack Morgan is hired to track down a missing mother and her kids, but it turns out things are not as straightforward as they seem.
The father of the family is away on a secret op in Afghanistan which goes drastically wrong when his helicopter is shot down.
This family need saving from a rogue group of people determined to keep a secret that no one knows about, not even the family.
Jack goes to Afghanistan and his team take charge in America.
Jack was a fighter pilot in a former life and hopes to draw on his experience to rescue the father, but when things go awry
he has to be at his best just to survive.
Can Private and Jack save both parts of this family and reveal a secret that will shock the world?
James Patterson and Adam Hamdy team up again to produce another outstanding book. The story starts like a rocket and doesn’t stop until its explosive end. The Private novels continue to be top notch and Private Rogue takes it up a level.
A fantastic read that I highly recommend.

Another great read in the Private series. Full of twists & turns. Jack Morgan and his team are back but this time he could lose everything but he knows that he had to find the missing pilot before it is too late. How far will be push himself this time? A good solid suspenseful thriller just like we expect from James Patterson and Adam Hamdy. I was lucky enough to receive a copy from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Anyone who has read my bio knows that my go to author EVERY time is James Patterson and once again I was lucky enough to recieve the latest in the Private series in my inbox.

How is it book 16 already? I have devoured every single one and each time I say 'it just gets better' but hand on heart THIS is my most favourite of all Private novels.. I haven't stopped talking about it!

I'm fast becoming a huge fan of Adam Hamdy. These two amazing authors just gel together magnificently .

Once again we see Jack Morgan tackle a mission that would rival any James Bond story. Action packed, full of suspense, tension, emotion and amazing characters.

I'll admit I've never really enjoyed books/novels based around the military but this one was just mindblowing. At times I felt right in the thick of it and couldn't put it down for a second. Normally I relish the fact that JP writes in small chapters so that I can constantly pick up and put down as I go about my day BUT this one required a comfy seat and a quiet mind to fully engross myself.

Personally I would recommend reading the Private series in order as the stories flow seamlessly from one to the other and there are alot of familiar characters that are developed throughout the series.

I won't go into any real detail as it will most definitely ruin it for those that haven't had the chance to read it but I will say.. if you haven't read this series yet... WHY NOT?

The biggest thank you to netgalley and Random House UK for the ARC.

Thanks to NetGalley and Random House for the opportunity to read this volume of the Private security series.
Always love a Private novel the format and characters leading with Jack Morgan are familiar and you know that the good guys will win out in the end. There is no point giving a synopsis of the tale because that has been done by other reviewers. Suffice to say as always, a great story rushing for exploit to exploit with all the gadgets and backup a great investigator needs as well as humility and vulnerability too.
Looking forward the next encounter.

What a brilliant read!
I'm fast becoming a big fan of Adam Hamdy! This was really a great collaboration. The story was fast-paced and action-packed and it kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.

"Bravery wasn't the absence of fear; it was action taken in the face of it."

A mission into Pakistan ends in tragedy when everyone bar the pilot Captain Joshua Floyd is killed. He's got to try and get to safety while the Russians are hunting him and everyone home thinks he's dead.
In America, it is just another ordinary day for Beth and her kids until someone tries to get to them and they must go on the run.
Cue our hero Jack Morgan from Private. He is tasked to find them but who can he trust? What are the Russians up to and what is the meaning of the Bul?

I loved every minute of this book that I finished in 1 sitting!

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House UK, Cornerstone for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Private Rogue (Book 16, Private Series) | James Patterson & Adam Hamdy

I am wholly invested in this series having read all fifteen previous books in sequential order and really enjoying them so was delighted to be granted an ARC of the most recent installment.

The book seamlessly pick up from the end of book 15 (SIDENOTE - I highly recommend you do read these books in order, there is so much background which is needed particularly in this story as it revolves around Jack rekindling his relationship with Justine whilst also stepping back into the field in order to find Beth, and her children Danny and Maria which, as always isn't as straightforward as Jack though it would be.
.
In James Pattersons usual style the chapters are short, sharp and full of tension and the storyline is terrific, back to one of the best in the series after a few not quite so hot installments. A solid 4 stars thriller and thank you to the author, publisher and netgalley for an ARC in return for an honest review.

Patterson rarely disappoints, this time coupled with Adam Hamdy. This book is in my opinion the best in the private series. Recommended.
