Xanthe Westlake has a special ability to hear calls of people who need her help through items that were once theirs. To provide the help that is needed, Xanthe travels back in time to whenever the person’s need arose. With the ability to walk through time, Xanthe has to be prepared for the cultural, design, language and other difference that each time period has.

On her last trip back in time, she took her boyfriend Liam and he was kept behind by another spinner. Now answering a call, Xanthe hopes it takes her to the same time and place so that she can bring Liam home again. This time she takes her friend Harley to help her as she doesn’t know what she is going to have to face. With the help of her friends, both old and new, Xanthe will right a wrong and help those whose needs called to her. Each time there are questions, not only of who is calling her and what help they need, but what time will she be traveling back to….and more importantly, will she be able to return home again.

Paula Brackston is one of my favorite authors, I really do love most everything she writes. This is by far my favorite series of hers and I cannot get enough of Xanthe and her travels. If you have never read one of Paula Brackston’s books, you are missing out! If you have read her before and haven’t read this one yet, what are you waiting for? You’ll be hooked too!

Paula Brackston is the master of time travel novels and I adore going back and forth in time with Xanthe!
This is just a fabulous story!
I truly was caught up in the plot as we see Xanthe becoming more and more adept at time travel with the help of some very special items she finds at an estate sale!
I cannot wait for to see how she and Liam continue on with their lives together as the relationship is changing.
I am quite sure adventures will continue and I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series!!
Well done!!

As a devoted fan of the Found Things series, Paula has really outdone herself on this installment! Mistress Flyte, Erasmus Balmoral, and the Visionary Society will have you sipping tea and fanning yourself in dismay. I truly needed a victorian fainting couch! Remember to not keep your mouth open for too long dearest, when you discover the truth about Mr. William J. Morris.
