How to Love Your Neighbor had me chuckling throughout Grace’s and Noah’s romantic adventure from a rocky start to their happily ever after ending. They might have had very dissimilar experiences growing up but the one thing they do share from the start is their respective dysfunctional parents and their expectations of their children.

Grace has pulled herself out of her past with hard work, a strength that she doesn’t give herself enough credit for, and an inherited piece of property from her grandparents. This house, although it needs a lot of work, is her haven and no fast-talking, sexy yet grumpy man is going to take it away from her. Not happening, Noah!

Noah has set out to separate himself from his father and his business ethics. It takes a move away from home for Noah to find the solitude and the peace to begin over again on his terms. Now if only the cute, stubborn lady next door would sell her rundown property to him so he could expand his property life would be almost perfect.

How to Love Your Neighbor is full of unique characters of all ages, each will fill a space in either Grace’s or Noah’s lives. I went from wanting to give some people a good shaking or at the least a stern talking to, all the way to a swoon-worthy, laughter-filled romance between two very stubborn folks who were (in spite of it all) simply perfect for each other. I had fun here, and if you love a charming, sort of enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy… then this is the perfect fit for you as well.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

I'm on a romcom kick this month and 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗕𝗢𝗥 by Sophie Sullivan didn't disappoint! Grace and Noah have great chemistry and I was all in on following their real estate projects.

Pick this one up if you love:
☀️Grump-meets-sunshine
🔨Home reno shows
🚪Closed door love scenes
👴🏻Adorable curmudgeons
😢Complicated family relationships
👫🏻Multiple POVS

This book is the sequel to 𝗧𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘁 and totally works as a stand alone, but I'll be going back to read the first one to see how Noah's brother, Chris, and his girlfriend, Everly, fell in love. Fingers crossed there's a third that tells us more about their other brother, Wes!

Thanks o St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the copy to review.

Okay I’m learning that I’m a sucker for a grumpy + sunshine couple, throw in an enemy to lover plot with it and I’m done for. 😂 I loved how Grace and Noah could not stay away from each other because they loved the same thing and how everyone but them knew how they felt, except them. 😂

I did not know this was part of a series and now I need to read the first one.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this one. I loved every character (Morty OMG) and felt genuinely invested in Noah and Grace’s relationship. I will say the slow burn was just the right amount of time…. But the closed doors killed me! In all seriousness the ending made me go “aww” and it warmed my heart to read.

As predicted in the title, Noah and Grace fall in love. There is a little drama with Noah’s father/family and Grace’s mom, but nothing big. I didn’t get a lot of chemistry between Noah and Grace. I also thought that they oversold the decorating aspect of the story.

How to Love Your Neighbor by Sophie Sullivan was a fun and charming read. Grace and Noah had great banter and interactions even as they warred with each other. Grace inherited her grandparents’ house and is excited to make it her home. Noah lives in the house next door and is determined to buy Grace out, for a pool. Grace is very determined and Noah is stubborn and yet their connection was undeniable. The sparks definitely flew between them. An entertaining read for sure.

Happy reading!

This was an overall cute story. I can't say it was one I couldn't put down, the most exciting parts fo me was seeing Chris and Everly again, which isn't really a great sign.
I just didn't feel the chemistry between Noah and Grace.
I love Sophie Sullivan's writting though and sincerely hope Wes will get his own book-i will definitely be looking out for that one.

This one was another disappointment for me. I think this has to be my last Sophie Sullivan book. It's a cute premise and the banter is witty but other than that, it's just so boring. It's not your typical modern romance book. Aside from a few innuendos, the author glosses right over all the chemistry scenes and the rest of the book doesn't make up for the loss of the "romance" part. Although I'm sure we will be seeing a book about the third brother in the future, I don't think I will be reading it.

How to Love Your Neighbor by Sophie Sullivan is a standalone contemporary romance novel. This one is the old enemies to lovers trope and does change the point of view between the characters to show both points of views in the story.

Grace Travis is about to get her degree in interior design and what better start to her new life after school than a new home to design of her own? You see Grace inherited her grandparents home and it’s in need of a little TLC but Grace knows she can make it her own and hang onto her memories.

The day Grace is moving into her new home she meets her gorgeous neighbor, Noah Jansen. Noah doesn’t exactly make a good first impression on Grace though when he insists that he needs to buy her home whether she’s looking to sell or not. However, Noah also needs a designer for his own home and fate will have it Grace is the one that will tackle the task.

The first thing I should admit in my review for How to Love Your Neighbor by Sophie Sullivan is that I do have a soft spot for HGTV and all those loving and listing, flipping or flopping shows so I was drawn to this one immediately. In my opinion the author did a wonderful job with the characters making them both likable despite them not liking one another to start the story. It was nice how they were slowly pulled together over some home design of their own making me wonder if HGTV needs a dating show!

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.

4.5 stars - I'd watch this show on HGTV! I loved Grace from the moment she's introduced in the story, fighting her entitled mother and chasing her own dreams. Enter the stubborn and grumpy neighbor who's used to getting his way, it took me a moment to warm up to Noah, but it didn't take long before I was a goner.

Filled with plenty of hilarious moments, close friendships, witty banter and clever remodels. This story was so easy to visualize as it unfolded and I didn't want it to end. The side characters were just as lovable as the main ones and I wish they were real people I could have in my life.

The audiobook brought the characters to life perfectly and had me laughing out loud at work, on too many occasions to count. This was my first book by the author and I can't wait to read more!

How to Love Your Neighbor is a fun enemies-to-lovers, next-door-neighbor, opposites attract romantic comedy written by author Sophie Sullivan. This is the first book that I've read by this author and it definitely won't be the last.
In this story we meet Grace who is kind, caring, has a sunny personality and is full of determination. After inheriting her grandparent's beach bungalow, she decides she's ready to move in and renovate the place. On a limited budget, most of the work is done by herself but she wouldn't have it any other way as it helps with her aspiring career as an interior designer. When she meets her new neighbor there's an instant spark. But that spark is instantly diminished when her neighbor is relentless in his pursuit of buying her house.
Noah is the grumpy real estate tycoon who wants to get out of his father's shadow. Moving to California, he wants to expand his portfolio and the shack next door seems perfect. Until he meets the bubbly neighbor who refuses to sell. Noah and Grace clash on so many things and are constantly making bets and challenging one another. The more time these two spend together, the more sparks fly. What will happen between these two?
This was a great contemporary romance by Sophie Sullivan. I enjoyed this book, the humor, sass and witty banter between the characters. Thank you to Sophie Sullivan and SMP romance for the advanced copy of this book.

Oh, sweet Grace. She’s got it all figured out and is handling life the best she can. She’s almost done with design school, working several jobs to make ends meet until she finishes school. Now it’s time for her to finally move out of her sweet older friend, Morty’s house and into the one left to her by her grandparents. Cue Noah. Her handsome new neighbor. It’s time for a love/hate relationship to begin.

This book is great. First of all, I love HGTV. There were so many scenes that made me feel like I was cozied up watching my favorite renovation show. The characters are all likable, except the ones who aren’t supposed to be, of course. (Some terrible parenting!) The love is sweet, the atmosphere is beach and fun. And Morty might be my favorite character in the book. Haha, he needs his own spin-off novel!

I see this as a perfect beach read for fans of romantic comedy with a dash of family drama.

Thank you to St. Martin’s Griffin and NetGalley for the gifted ebook.

3.5 stars. An enemies to lovers romance for lovers of HGTV! It was so fun to get to know Grace and Noah through their house renovations. This story was layered with a lot of parental issues and new career ventures. I loved the whole cast of characters, they had a great group supporting them and adding more to the story. Grace and Noah themselves were charming and interesting.

This is my first read from this author and I enjoyed it!!

Going into it I obviously expected a happy ending and sometimes I can be let down when the journey there is too cliche. I enjoyed this but didn’t love it because I felt the chemistry could have been better developed. Grace and Noah weren’t one dimensional by any means but I found myself not believing their attraction. I wasn’t very invested, although I think their interactions were well written and funny.

I didnt like the situation with her mother. It came off a bit childish but I do like that the topic of toxic relationships was presented- I don’t find that often.

Loved Morty and Sophie!

Sophie Sullivan is everything a contemporary romance author should be! I've fallen in love with each character in Sophie's books and find them easilly relateable. Noah and Grace have a short lived hate to love. There is certainly love very quickly! Noah is absolutely going on my list of book boyfriends. I will 100% purchase this book for my shelf, it's a true keeper

This book was a fun, fast read. Initially I thought this book was going to be predictable and boring. This book was fun, quirky, and not predictable. I loved the design touches and HGTV kind of feel. I'll definitely be reading more from this author.

This was just okay for me Enemies to lovers with a home improvement show twist. This was funny at times but super clean for a romance if you like a clean sweet romance then this one is for you.

My thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Enemies-to-lovers and love next door? Sign me up.
This was a cute story while at the same time a bit slow.
I struggled at first to like Noah. He felt a bit entitled with his money but it soon changed, especially after he spent time with Grace and she brought him 'down to earth' so to say.
There was a little bit of angst, lots of humor, and a ton of sweetness. I'll be checking out this author's other works.

A rom com trope of the sunshine girl and the grumpy man, this book was more interesting that I thought it would be. I do love home renovation themes, and this has plenty. Grace has inherited her grandparents home and is going to school to be a professional interior designer, but as she moves in to the home that needs a lot of TLC she meets the next door neighbor, Noah, a NYC real estate mogul, who has come to California to get away from his controlling father. He immediately tries to buy Grace’s home. There is great banter, but also a deeper connection between them as they both have parental issues that have affected them greatly. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and will look for another of the author’s books.
