You can never go wrong with a grumpy/sunshine, enemies-to-lovers romance! I do wish the rivalry had lasted a little longer and that there was more grumpiness to build more tension, but otherwise this was a cute read. The home renovation aspects were fun. The side characters and found family were heart warming. They were probably my favorite part of the story! The HEA was sweet and I loved how Grace and Noah grew together as people. Overall, it was a decent read! Definitely a good palate cleanser after an intense fantasy read.

How to Love your Neighbor is a such a sweet, page turning and fresh story. Sophie Sullivan writing style has always amazed me. I love her reading her novels.

A romance that actually has some serious romantic vibes. It's her house ans she be darned if he can scare her off. He wants what he wants but too late realizes that what he really wants is more than a piece of property. Smiles, giggles and more than one awww moment.

Such a cute concept but it was so cheesy for me. I just couldn’t get into it at all. The FMC made me cringe so hard. I appreciated her hard work but oof I couldn’t stand her.

I am embarrassed by how far behind I am with writing my reviews that I didn't realize that this book is part of a series. With being said, this story can stand alone and reading the first book does give you a preview into the characters in this book.
In book one, Chris Jansen, is transplanted to San Verde, CA from NY to improve the ratings at the radio station which his overbearing father, Nathaniel Jansen, purchased to turn into profit. This story introduces Everly Dean, SUN 96.2 radio show producer, working with her best friend, Stacey Ryan, a radio deejay at the station. They are less than pleased with the changes since the Jansen family purchased the station and work hard to convince Chris how profitable the station could be.

In this book, Grace Travis is working odd jobs to make ends meet while finishing up her courses in design. She had been assisting Morty, a 72 year-old man, in lieu of rent. He has a long time lady friend, Tilly, who often comes to visit and ensure Morty is safe. Aside from working at Coffee Stop, Grace makes money as a dog walker to pay for school to fulfill her dream of becoming an interior designer. Her unreliable mother, Tammy Travis, becomes enraged when she learns that her parents left their home on the beach to Grace and not her. Grace was surprised by this inheritance as well since Tammy never allowed her to get to know her grandparents. This allows Grace to renovate the house using her design talents with the help of best friend, Rosie and co-worker, Hugo. Meanwhile, she is annoyed by Noah Jansen, who is trying to buy the house next door. He runs into some difficulty getting approval the extreme renovations he has planned which pleases Grace who would prefer he build his house elsewhere. The ultimate request comes from Stacey who wants to hire Grace as an interior designer for Noah's house which will be featured in a magazine. What's a girl to do? Learn to love her neighbor, of course!

There are the quirky side stories which provide humor and structure to series. A fun read!

Honestly just didn’t love this one. Felt like I knew what was going to happen the entire time.

It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t my favourite. I’m sorry :(

I think this book started out really promising. But the main male character started to make me feel like I was going crazy. He was demanding, a daddy's money boy, whiny, and condescending among other things. He had absolutely no redeeming qualities. And nothing compelled me to want him and our heroine to get together. In fact I was actively rooting against them. Girl you can find better! It was completely frustrating to see him just try to throw money at all his problems and just undermine our heroine. The only upside of this book is Morty. We love a crotchety old man and father figure.

Grace is all about her checklist and she is almost finished with her degree as an interior decorator, she has found a perfect home in which she thinks she will be able to show off her work. Major problem real estate developer Noah Jensen sees the house and property along the beach as a way to expand, now you see the dilemma and the story between the two characters. A good funny at times story.

Really great book I have had so much reading this and getting to know these lovable characters will definitely continue to read books by this author

This was a really fun, charming, banter-filled romance—I loved the chemistry and banter between the two characters!

I am in love with this whole series!!

The sassy fun characters kept me coming back for more as I was reading it, and the fun ways that brothers were put throughout the stories. I love series that are all about the families, and you get to know them more and more throughout the stories.

Grace Travis is about to get her degree and dream job when an opportunity to fix-up and live in a little house along the beach comes along. She's all in, until her biggest roadblock moves in next door. Noah Jansen is a real estate developer who knows he's found something special, even maybe a new home.. provided he can expand by taking over the house next door, the house with a combative and beautiful woman living in it.

Review:

This was an easy read but it didn't pull me in as much as some other rom-coms I've been reading. I liked the neighbourly piece - I've had crushes on neighbours in the past, so it was cute to see that explored. I listened to it on audio so sometimes if I'm not listening attentively, it can also affect my enjoyment of a book, which I feel was the case with this one.

I an effort to make an honest review I want to be candid in saying that although this book wasn't for me, I think that others would enjoy it very much. I had trouble really getting into it but I think the tropes were great and the premises sounded amazing.

A simple and sweet romance, however I didn’t really see a hated towards the two main characters like I thought I would. Grace and Noah practically hate flirted like middle schoolers so it was extremely easy to see what was going to happen in the end!

This was a lovely, if slightly forgettable closed door romance. It felt predictable (not always in a bad way) but Sullivan's rich characters pulled it from a three star to a four star read.

Didn’t like this book and it was so boring. There’s a special formula for enemies to lovers and not everyone can do it correctly. Sadly this book was one of the ones that didn’t do it.

This book was such a fun read! I particularly liked the chemistry almost from chapter 1, between Grace and Noah. There are a lot of hiccups along the way in this book, and I found that I just couldn't put it down. I couldn't wait to see what was next! Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for giving me a chance to read this book. I would definitely recommend it for a good rom-com read!
