How could I not love this book! I was immediately intrigued, from the very beginning and couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I loved the pacing, the story line kept me engrossed and it's a story I'd highly recommend - in fact, I've bought several copies for friends and family so they could enjoy it too.

3.5 stars!! The book had great promise but i ultimatley didnt care for any of the main characters. The writing was great and I read it easily, will def try another title by these authors

Fun and enjoyable read that kept me guessing from start to finish. Pacing was done well, but did slow down a bit in the middle. I suspected everyone and did not see that ending coming! Another great read by this amazing author duo!

I can't believe it's taken me this long to give feedback on what is absolutely these authors' best book to date! I've had problems with their other books but this one was such a fantastic read and a great domestic thriller. 10 out of 10 no notes and highly recommended!

Breaking trust is something that has a lasting impact on any relationship. When a person is unfaithful in a marriage it destroys not only the trust, but the entire foundation that the marriage was built upon. Many times people don't even want to try and see if repairs can be made, but Marissa loves her husband and wants more than anything to be back in his good graces.

Matthew cannot fathom his wife cheating on him, let along going along with her idea of therapy to try and repair the damage that she has brought to their life. When Matthew meets Avery and listens to the unorthodox way of her program he's even less thrilled with this proposed journey.

This book delves into the secrets that people keep from not only each other, but from themselves as well. An eye opening and emotionally charged story.

I really liked this book it read more like a family drama instead of mystery/thriller. This is the first book I've read by this duo. I would have never guessed that plot twist. I was totally convinced that Marissa's assistant or Matthew's friend Natalie were involved somehow. I thought it was really interesting that Avery was not a traditional therapist. Matthew and Marissa were to what everyone thought the perfect couple, but this truly goes to show you never know what goes on behind closed doors. I am highly intrigued to read more by these authors.

Sarah Pekkanen is on my auto buy author list; no matter what she writes, I'll read it. When she teams up with Greer Hendricks, I know I'm in for a ride. This book was no different than their past books for me, a page turner!

The Golden Couple is a fast-moving psychological thriller that I thought I had figured out but it left me pretty stunned by the ending. Excellent thriller, it started out a bit slow which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Recommend if you are a fan of mysteries with families, secrets, and any of their previous books.

The audiobook narrators were very good.

I got an ARC from NetGalley from the publisher (thank you), bought the hardcover from Book of the Month, and got the audiobook from the library.

2 can keep a secret of one of them are dead! The lies and betrayal is so deep. Nothing is what you think it is. The twist and turns are mind blowing. This book is absolutely amazing. So much suspense and when I thought I had one thing figured out. Boom a new twist. Nothing is as it seems.

Unique story line and always enjoy the multiple perspectives. The story kept me guessing most of the way!

I wasn't sure what to make of this book. The characters were so unlikeable and the plot so twisted that I couldn't stop reading. The story felt contrived but did keep me entertained.

Not as good as the previous books. I do feel this duo has had their 15 mins and they need to re assess.

The Golden Couple certainly shines! The novel has well-developed characters along with perfect pacing. The authors create a number of whodunnit leads for the reader to explore. A second story line is also explored throughout the novel. Avery, the therapist the couple chooses to address their marital trauma, must also deal with the fallout of whistleblowing on a big pharma conglomerate. She proceeds to delve beneath the veneer of the golden couple, only to find a worn facade. Can Avery help them salvage the relationship? Are there other dark forces at play? The authors pull out all of the stops to deliver a great read, filled with delicious twists turns, and a grand reveal for the ultimate finish!

While I really enjoyed this entertaining domestic novel, I’m not sure I would’ve necessarily called it a thriller. More like domestic suspense/drama. That small thing aside, Hendricks and Pekkanen are really good at this type of story. Great pacing, complex characters that you really care about, and enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. Really enjoyable.

This was a pretty straightforward thriller with a twist I saw miles ahead. Still it was a pretty good book.

It’s a story that keeps you guessing until the very end. All of the characters are complicated and seem to have secrets. There are twists and turns that you don’t see it coming, but you are engrossed throughout the entire story. If you were looking for an intriguing story with complicated characters. This is the book for you.
