Loved this! Sister Vicky and Lulu are in a car accident. Lulu escapes relatively unscathed; but the fall out makes her question everything about her life and upcoming marriage. Vicky can’t remember the last six years of her life…she doesn’t understand why she’s now known as Victoria; is getting divorced and her family seem to hate her. Maybe for Vicky the accident can help her understand how her life changed so much and help her find her way back. I really enjoyed this book.

I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Firstly, I would like to thank Netgalley & Aria & Aries for the opportunity to receive a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
Unfortunately, Everything Has Changed was not my cup of tea. I think I have passed the stage of British women's fiction, and I believe many sub-stories are taking place simultaneously.
Both Victoria & Lulu suffer for different reasons, but everyone, the principal and secondary characters, keeps their feelings inside. The solution for all their problem was talking with someone.
There were times I felt frustrated reading, as well I felt the pacing was slow. Because of that, I felt the book slowing my reading experience.
Sorry, this time, I have to give the book 2.5 stars. In the future, I will try Kendra Smith's work another chance; I might have a better experience.

Such a heartfelt, emotional read. Two sister involved in a car accident, with both forced to evaluate their lives in the aftermath.

This was such a great read - the characters were all dealing with their own private turmoils - it really showed how you can change your life if your perspective changes.

Happy to recommend!

A traumatic car accident and a case of amnesia sets the stage as a catalytic event for change in Kendra Smith's Everything Has Changed.

In the aftermath of the event, sisters Lulu and Vickie are left to put their lives and relationships back together.

I am always a fan of books about sisters and their relationships. Some elements of this book felt a bit contrived, but I'll look forward to reading more from this author.

Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me. All thoughts are my own.

Everything has Changed is an emotional roller-coaster ride and one which will leave you thinking

This tells the story of how life changed dramatically after trauma, sister Victoria and Lulu had a horrific car accident, one which changed their lives and how their opinion of themselves and life changed. One isn't hugely injured but it's phycological scars which affect her more than anything whereas the other loses her memory and finds that as a blessing in disguise. There is a lot going on in this story, the main plot is about recovery, finding your feet after life sends you a curve ball and more than that acceptance. It's hard and emotional and full of trials! Then you have various subplots intertwined, branches sprouting off the main tree which keeps it compelling to read,

I thought it was a little slow ij pace in parts, and if it wasn't for the multiple sub plots surrounding the sisters lives it would have become a little tiring, and I hate to say it but I may have given up, but I percervered and I am so pleased I did as this is a heart-warming read which pulls at all the emotions.

I was given a copy of Everything has changed by Kendra Smith by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. When Victoria is in a car accident she thinks it is 6 years previous. The twins she has have grown, her husband is about to leave. Victoria has to find out how her life has changed and tries to get her life back. A great story!

I’ve always enjoyed Kendra Smith’s books but I can honestly say this is her best. Fast paced, engrossing and original, the focus is on family and sisters involved in a car accident. While this might appear a hard read - particularly when we realise just how the sisters are affected by the accident – Smith handles the whole story sympathetically and with expertise. A great story and one for rereading!!

3.5 stars
Wasn't expecting this level of depth and trauma in the story when I read the blurb, especially on Lulu's side of the story. It was an engrossing read, though, and I very much preferred the POV of Victoria which somehow allowed me to see more of the story, of her side of it, than Lulu's which possibly was meant to be more immersive?
Just know this is not a light and fluffy read. It's not hard or traumatic, either, but know it's not light beach/pool read material, imo

Sisters Victoria and Lulu are involved in a life changing car accident.

For Victoria it seems as though she’s lost six years of her life. Her family is not how she remembers. she in the middle of a divorce and her twins are now teenagers. The The life she enters is not one she recognises that all.

Although not injured physically, the crash forces Lulu to realise that her drinking is becoming more harmful and she needs to face the demons from her past.

This is a heartbreakingly beautiful novel.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story about life after an accident and discovering what really matters. Victoria and her sister Lulu are in a life altering car accident that leaves Victoria with amnesia. She wakes up having forgotten the last 6 years of her life, which includes splitting up with her husband James. Life sometimes gives us what first appears to be lemons but upon closer inspection you find it is actually lemonade. A wonderful book that will uplift, enthuse and simply make you smile.

Victoria and her sister Lulu have a car accident which leaves Victoria with amnesia. She seems to have lost six years of her life. This story is filled with her experiencing so many emotions as she tries to remember those missing years.
Lulu her younger sister, finds seeing her sister struggling very upsetting as she has lots of hidden secrets herself. A huge one being her impending wedding which is filling her with dread.
A wonderful story of love. loss, friends and understanding. Well worth a read.

Lulu and Vicky are involved in a life altering accident. Vicky suffers amnesia and loses 6 years awaking to the discovery that she is the mother to adolescent twins and is going through the process of a divorce.

I was given an advanced copy of this text by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This was a book that both my wife and I enjoyed. While the story has been told before, Smith wrote a very lively version of the tired amnesia tropes. Nice breezy read.

Thank you to Netgalley and Aria & Aries publishing for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Sisters Victoria and Lulu are involved in a devastating car accident, they wake to lives they barely recognise. Victoria or Vickie as now likes to be called has woken up with amnesia and thinks she is living the perfect life with her Husband James and their two perfect little children, who are now moody teenagers. So much has happened to her family and her self that she can't remember. And she is devastated to know her marriage is over and her children think she doesn't have time for them.

Lulu on the other hand is stuck I a rut, in a relationship with Simon who is boring and condescending and treats her like a pet. You can see from the outset that her heart isn't it in. As the wedding day gets closer she is drinking more and more, and feeling less and less like herself. Both Sisters have things to work out and right wrongs they have caused before they can move on and be happy in their lives.

I really enjoyed this booked, going in I wasn't at all sure what to expect. I thought the amnesia scenario may make the book a little difficult to read but it was actually written in such a way it was refreshing. All the characters are interesting and I was routing for Vickie and James to re-connect as they were obviously still very much in love with each other and their children they just seem to have lost their way after a family tragedy. The sisters relationship is also lovely and is the one they share with their father.

On reading the authors notes and realising why she chose this subject matter the book appealed even more to me. Using her own experiences gave another depth to the book which I had already thoroughly enjoyed. It is the first book I have read by Kendra Smith but it certainly won't be the last.

I could not put this down, it was brilliant. I felt like I was on an emotional roller-coaster. Human life is really complex and the relationship between the sisters, I constantly kept thinking how will they go back from this. I kept putting my sister and I in their shoes and wondering what would happen.

Well written, truly brilliant, highly recommended.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I was drawn to the premise of this book. Sisters involved in a car crash - one loses her memory - they both reevaluate their lives and choices.

For the most part it was enjoyable. I found some of the characters annoying and not well fleshed out.

It was a pretty light read. I did find myself skimming some of the descriptive text and go straight to the dialogue.

If you are looking for a decent read - then give it a look.
