Lulu and Vicky are sisters who are both involved in a serious car accident, leaving Vicky with a long term recovery and Lulu with a lot of guilt. What they both realise is that they need to make some serious changes with their lives and rediscover who they really are. I was not sure about this one at first but it really grew on me and I found it hard to put down.

Everything Has Changed is a story of second chances and the opportunity to do things over that most people do not receive. When sisters Victoria and Lulu are in a car accident Lulu mostly escapes injury while Victoria wakes up thinking her twins are ten years old and in reality are 16. She has retrograde amnesia and no memory of the last several years. Her once loving relationship with her husband is on the brink of divorce and she doesn't recognize her life. The accident triggered memories from Lulu's past that force her to confront uncomfortable truths.

I enjoyed this latest novel by Kendra Smith; the characters are well-developed and the different storylines hold interest throughout. Fans of What Alice Forgot will enjoy this one! 3.5 stars.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest feedback.

I liked the story of this book but the writing wasn't my style. I ended up skimming the last 15% because I wanted to know what happened but was getting tired of it.

Thank you for the ARC Netgalley

Everything Has Changed by Kendra Smith

Sisters Victoria and Lulu are in a car accident and have to rebuild their lives afterwards. Victoria has lost 6 years of memories and doesn't recognise the person she had become during that time. Lulu is seeking refuge in alcohol and not dealing with her past.

I couldn't put this book down as I was intrigued from the start! I really liked the sisters and wanted to see how they dealt with the aftermath of the accident and the consequences for them and their families and friends. Very highly recommended!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book.

Compelling and thought-provoking read about the aftermath of a car accident for two sisters, Victoria and Lulu. We follow their stories as Victoria tries to piece together the past six years which have disappeared when she wakes up from the accident.

4.5* makes you think - and evaluate what’s important to you. This book will stay with me due to the themes.

Everything Has Changed
author: Kendra Smith
Aria and Aries

Change is a central theme in this compelling novel by Kendra Smith. She has written a story of two sisters and the physical and emotional aftermaths for each of them after being involved in a car accident. Just as the sisters' worlds are different, so are the outcomes and after effects of the wreck.
Smith's writing is poignant, gripping and will keep reader's engaged as they follow the journeys of sisters Lulu and Victoria.
Thank you to Net Galley and Aria and Aries for the advanced reader's copy and opportunity to provide my unbiased review.

This book certainly grabbed my attention being slightly different with hitting some difficult issues head on. The book is written from two viewpoints, sisters Victoria and Lulu, who are involved in a serious car accident, what follows is a coming to terms with their own pasts and a re-evaluation of their futures. It was also interesting that the personal reasons, given at the end of the book by the author, probably helped her to come terms with her own experiences. Ups and downs, twists and turns as the story slowly unfolds. Compelling.

Gosh a lovely story of two sisters who both had hidden hurts. A car accident brings it all out when one of the loses her memory in the crash and has lost 6 years of her life.. She thinks she is happily married and has 2 cute children. A brilliant read. What happened to the younger sister is so relevant. A perfect ending which I loved

This was a great read with a few twists long the way.

On finishing the book I discovered why the author chose to write it, and that gave the story a whole new meaning. Using her own experiences she has created something which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The pace of the story was ideal, we only learn certain things about Victoria’s post as and when the author is ready to reveal them. The characters were all really well written too.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing a copy.

Victoria and her sister Lulu are involved in a car accident leaving Victoria with amnesia, how can her twins be 16 years old and not ten and what on earth has happened to her marriage.... James is the love of her life but he is divorcing her!

A lovely heartwarming story watching both sisters trying to get their lives back together after the accident, both struggling with what they have turned into.... maybe the accident was a good thing.

Everything has changed tales the story of two sisters, who are very close. Unfortunately they are involved in a car crash that changes both their lives forever.

Victoria is trying to work out how her cute 10 year old's have now changed into moody 16 year old's. Also her marriage is now hanging on a thread but she still believes they are madly in love. Victoria says "life has moved on but I haven't".

On the other hand her sister Lulu appears to have escaped unharmed but she has demons from her past that she has yet to deal with.

Also her current relationship is not in great shape and she wants more in the job front.

They stumble through the next couple of months of their lives together, both up and downs. It switches between the sisters POV and is very fast pasted.

I enjoyed reading their family centred journey.

I found it very interesting that the author had been through an example of trauma, an MRI scan and had experienced the scary world of PTSD. I think this makes the book more credible.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me a digital copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

A beautifully written story that will have you gripped from the start. Emotional, gripping and a page turner of a book that I definitely recommend.

Victoria has been involved in an RTA and has amnesia. She cannot remember anything beyond ten years ago. The woman she was before the crash seems totally alien to her. Her ten year old twins are now 16, bringing with them the usual teenage challenges. But worst of all, husband James, the love of her life is currently filing for divorce.

As Victoria struggles to piece together the past ten years, she is determined to do one thing - she will try her hardest to stop her husband from ending their marriage.

Younger sister Lulu is marrying Simon, a widower. But is she marrying him for the right reasons? With his controlling ways, and his mother taking charge of the wedding arrangements, is he really the man for her?

The author cleverly weaves a great story of family life, - the hopes, dreams and secrets. I was totally hooked from the first page., I couldn't imagine how anyone functions with ten years of their lives wiped away and with no guarantee they would get it back. Victoria and Lulu both had their challenges, they were great characters and I really wanted them to have the happy endings they so deserved.

I would like to thank Netgalley, Kendra Smith and Aria for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this story of two sisters coping with the aftermath of a car accident. Both sisters struggle in different ways and Victoria’s confusion after memory loss was personally quite enlightening and moving. The focus on family and the dynamics of family made this a really engaging read.
