I absolutely loved The Celebration Place by Dorena Williamson!!! In my opinion, the book illustrates how God/Jesus intended church to be--everyone worshipping Him together as one. I highly recommend this book!!! I believe it will be a blessing to others and teach everyone how Church should be. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. (My review is also on Goodreads.)

A little heaven on earth where every tribe, every color, man, woman, and child celebrate God in worship. Celebrating God in worship draws us closer as a community and strengthens our faith. This colorful is a great resource to read with your children on what celebration means and the hope that it brings.

A special thank you to Intervarsity Press and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review

I love the concept of this picture book. The expansive view of worshiping God across cultures, in different styles is a foretaste of what God's eternal kingdom will be like. My favorite spreads: the young man rapping, and the Native Americans in traditional dress dancing their praise. I was less impressed with the text. Many of the rhymes were forced. The book also presents diversity as a given, rather than as an aspiration that many churches still need to reach. Still, a good book to use with kids in a church setting to trigger conversations about God's heart for the church.
