I was looking forward to reading this book but it wasn’t how I thought it’d be. The first chapter starts with a punch, and the following chapters keep the same upbeat tone, but it kind of gets to be a bit much.. it’d be nicer if instead of just saying “read Matthew …” that it actually lists the verse so you don’t have to search for your bible and look it up. I also couldn’t connect to the author’s life stories as examples. I like reading Christian books, but this one just wasn’t for me.
