Oh my goodness, this book was EVERYTHING!!! Daniel was an absolute angel and I loved the growth that we saw within Alexis. And CHLOE ugh I need a baby goat with pajamas now. I loved the found family within the community and how much they all looked after each other, as well as the side story of Liz and seeing her getting out of an abusive relationship. Brb on my way to read all of Abby Jimenez’s books now!!!!

This author is not for me. I do not enjoy their writing style due to the fast pace and chemistry of the characters. It just did not wow me.

I can’t believe I didn’t jump and read this one asap. I LOVED it! The MCs were terrific, where is Daniel in real life? He’s perfect. I enjoyed the side characters and Bri’s book is actually what reminded me to go back and read this one. The author painted such a lovely picture small town life. Five FABULOUS stars!

I thought this was a great book. I appreciated the honesty of mental health and DV. The book was well paced and kept me interested. I'm excited for the sequel.

Ali and Daniel are from two very different worlds, but when they meet each other and find some common ground they work to see if they can stay together. ARC from NetGalley.

I don't read a ton of romance and when I do, I often find it pretty bland, unrealistic, and underwhelming. Part of Your World is one of the best books in the romance genre that I've read in a long time. Perhaps still not totally realistic, but it felt more real than so many romance novels that I read and it had characters I actually cared about. If you like romance, I think you'll love this book! And if you're kind of "meh" about romance, you should still give it a try. For me, it was a nice light break that I needed and also really enjoyed.

Okay yes. This book is such a good time. I LOVEDDDD Daniel and he’s def on my book boyfriend list. It was romantic and sweet but also touches on some real emotions I wasn’t expecting. I knew I was going to love it and I’m not sure why it took me so long to read it! If you’re on the fence, read it!!

I love Abby Jimenez. Anything she writes I just know will be good, but this was honestly beyond all expectations. There is not a single critique I have in regards to this book. From the author to the story to even the covers, this is a perfect example as to why I love reading. The couple is just everything I wanted and more in this book and I clearly adored it.

I loved this! It was very well written. The chapters were a bit long, but the story didn’t drag out. It keeps you interesting and rooting for the characters throughout the entire book. I’ve read all of Abby’s books and I haven’t been disappointed! I look forward to reading more of her work ❤️

Loved this. This is like the antidote to Colleen Hoover: this has a similar theme of the cycle of emotional abuse, but not disgusting like it ends with us. It definitely took the MC too long to come around to the amazing guy she. Found in the small town but it ends the way it should. This is Romance the way it should be.

Now that’s a contemporary romance! Like I imagine her cupcakes are—quality, substance, and flavor enough that you’re willing to overlook the fact that it’s a little too sweet.

I absolutely adored this book. Not only did it get me out of a reading slump, but it's one I keep thinking about. Fun, funny, and also deeply emotional. Age gap romance (woman as the older one in the relationship), small-town, class differences. Maybe a touch of magic? Lots of great tropes.

Wow. That was definitely not a light read. I have loved Abby Jimenez's previous work. "Part of Your World" didn't quite work for me. I appreciate the growth and strength of the main character, but she was difficult to sympathize with and so far out of reach for me. And while the writing was engaging, it did begin to seem like I was reading the same scene four times in a row.

I will be looking forward to more of the author's work and would recommend her earlier titles.

Thank you to NetGalley & the publisher for providing an eARC for review.

Every time I finish an Abby Jimenez book, I say it's my favorite and I have been doing this since her debut book, so that says something, right?

Obviously Part of Your World exceeded all my expectations, and I think this might me my favorite of hers. Even though I was a little skeptic about the reverse age gap trope and was wondering if the author will be able to pull it out, but Gosh I needn't have worried! Everything about Alexis and Daniel and their relationship was perfection. I laughed, I cried, I felt way too much for them both. And after a crazy roller coaster ride of ups and down, we got the perfect conclusion. SWOON!

There is no one except Abby Jimenez who in her stories makes it seem totally impossible for two people to be together, but then after plenty of tears and heartbreak, she flicks her magic wand, and everything falls perfectly into place, and you know what, as a reader you are left wondering - How did I ever doubt these two characters!

If you've read any of her books you'd know that they are heavy on triggers and there is usually one HUGE social issue that she acknowledges in every story. I am always amazed at how perfectly, honestly and gently she portrays these situations, never undermining or underplaying the difficulties and challenges a person has to endure.

Major content warnings for physical and emotional abuse, depression, cheating and gaslighting.

All that being said, I can't wait to read her next book!

I love this book. Just love it. So much. Part of Your World is an amazing opposite’s attract romantic comedy. While the witty banter had me laughing out loud, Abby Jimenez made me feel all the emotions. The connections and dynamics between all the characters and the growth throughout the book really made it magical. Part of Your World is so much more than a romantic comedy and I loved every page.

Thank you to Netgalley and Forever for the ARC!

Oh such a feel good book while still touching on tough topics like different forms of abuse in relationships. I’ve yet to read something by the author that wasn’t full of heart!

I absolutely loved this book! I loved the characters especially Alexis, Daniel, and Bri. It seemingly can be a true to life situation as well which I also appreciated. Do yourself a favor and read this book. It will give you all the feels as it did myself.

4.5 rounded up.

I loved how delicately Abby Jiminez touched on the issue of abusive relationships. I adored Alexis and Daniel and Bri and Hunter and everyone in Wakan. I loathed Alexis' parents and Neil so much I was shaking at points. But all in all, I loved the message of choosing yourself. It's sometimes the hardest choice of all.

I'm in the minority when I say that I liked Part of Your World but it's my least favorite Abby Jimenez book to date (for the record, The Happy Ever Playlist is still my #1). It was still wildly readable and easy to immerse myself in the romance between Alexis and Daniel. She has an unforgettable (supposedly one) night with him, a gorgeous, down-to-earth, small-town carpenter who's ten years her junior and her complete opposite. She's a city girl who's bearing the weight of her wealthy parents' pressure to be a surgeon instead of a "simple" ER doctor. But, of course, they can't stay away from each other and in the comfort of his small town (with its tight-knit community), they start falling in love (this was the best part!). But I felt like the conflicts that Alexis faced (ie. her family and a crazy ex) didn't work for me. Her parents felt either flat or villainous, for lack of a better word. I just didn't understand them and you know, there probably are people like that in real life but I struggled with it. Same goes for the other conflict with her ex. I even struggled a bit with Alexis herself. Again, I just couldn't imagine my career or my feelings on it being swayed by my parents' opinions (side note: my entire family to this day does not understand what I do). But even though this book ultimately wasn't a favorite, I still liked it and I can see why other people loved it. A lot of my personal feelings certainly played a role in how reacted to the book overall so if you're interested, I think it's worth borrowing from the library.
