Oh such a feel good book while still touching on tough topics like different forms of abuse in relationships. I’ve yet to read something by the author that wasn’t full of heart!

I absolutely loved this book! I loved the characters especially Alexis, Daniel, and Bri. It seemingly can be a true to life situation as well which I also appreciated. Do yourself a favor and read this book. It will give you all the feels as it did myself.

4.5 rounded up.

I loved how delicately Abby Jiminez touched on the issue of abusive relationships. I adored Alexis and Daniel and Bri and Hunter and everyone in Wakan. I loathed Alexis' parents and Neil so much I was shaking at points. But all in all, I loved the message of choosing yourself. It's sometimes the hardest choice of all.

I'm in the minority when I say that I liked Part of Your World but it's my least favorite Abby Jimenez book to date (for the record, The Happy Ever Playlist is still my #1). It was still wildly readable and easy to immerse myself in the romance between Alexis and Daniel. She has an unforgettable (supposedly one) night with him, a gorgeous, down-to-earth, small-town carpenter who's ten years her junior and her complete opposite. She's a city girl who's bearing the weight of her wealthy parents' pressure to be a surgeon instead of a "simple" ER doctor. But, of course, they can't stay away from each other and in the comfort of his small town (with its tight-knit community), they start falling in love (this was the best part!). But I felt like the conflicts that Alexis faced (ie. her family and a crazy ex) didn't work for me. Her parents felt either flat or villainous, for lack of a better word. I just didn't understand them and you know, there probably are people like that in real life but I struggled with it. Same goes for the other conflict with her ex. I even struggled a bit with Alexis herself. Again, I just couldn't imagine my career or my feelings on it being swayed by my parents' opinions (side note: my entire family to this day does not understand what I do). But even though this book ultimately wasn't a favorite, I still liked it and I can see why other people loved it. A lot of my personal feelings certainly played a role in how reacted to the book overall so if you're interested, I think it's worth borrowing from the library.

This was the first Abby Jimenez book I've read and loved it so much! The story was great - it was funny, sad and felt really real. I loved all of the characters, especially Daniel, Hunter, Chloe (need more of her!), and Doug's pet farm (IYKYK)! I found the FMC, Alexis relatable though some of her poor decision-making drove me nuts at times. Highly recommend this book!

Rating: 4.5 stars (rounded up to 5).

Thank you, NetGalley and Forever Pub, for the eARC in exchange for my honest review!

Another amazing book by Abby Jimenez!

I loved everything about this one! It was full of emotion – I laughed out loud a few times, Alexis and Daniel’s relationship made me smile and there was a moment I almost cried. Daniel is sweet, down to earth and swoon worthy. Alexis has been dealing with emotional abuse from the men in her life and Daniel was person she needed to realize she deserved better. Their story was absolute perfection.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

There was a lot I liked about this one! Daniel was great, the small town, the magical realism element. I loved how supportive Daniel’s friends were and Alexis’s friend Bri. This one really kept me reading, unable to put it down. Even though I knew there was going to be a HEA, it’s a romance after all, I was genuinely nervous reading once I got to a certain point because I could feel the 3rd Act Breakup coming and I wasn’t sure how it was all going to go down.

There were a couple of things I didn’t like. I felt like a lot of the inner monologues were repetitive. All of the realizations Daniel or Alexis would come to felt like A Big Realization, which made the actual Big Realizations not as effective. I also felt there was already enough working against these two – distance, financial differences, family pressures, etc. – without the added element of Alexis being freaked out over their age difference. It really should not have been that big of a deal. It wasn’t like Daniel was 22, just out of college, starting his life. He was a 28-year-old grown-ass adult human being. Who frankly seemed more mature than Alexis at times. ALSO, Alexis’s ex was 10 years older than her but she didn’t see that as an issue? It took her forever to get over the fact that Daniel happened to be 9 years younger than her. It seemed hypocritical, and like such a minor thing compared to the other obstacles they were facing, and it got on my nerves.

ANYWAYS, despite that, I still found myself not wanting to put this one down. Even when it was way past my bedtime. It actually did make me laugh out loud several times, which isn’t always the case these days with books billed as rom-coms.

NO THOUGHTS. JUST LOVE. THIS BOOK WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

This was my first Abby Jimenez book and y’all she just KNOCKED it out of the part. Out of this universe. I put this one off for so long because I was convinced it was getting overhyped but I binged it on a plane ride and when I tell you I was so incredibly disappointed to finish it… I never wanted it to end.

I LOVE a small town romance and this one checked *every single box*.

I am simply unwell. It was so incredible.

I can’t wait until book 2 comes out next year. I am ITCHING for Briana’s book.

There's not one thing about this book that I didn't love. It is, hands down, my new favorite Abby Jimenez book and it's not even close. I adored Alexis and Daniel, the small town setting was delightful and the touches of magic were perfection.

It’s amazing how someone can touch you, even if you only know them for a moment in time. How they change you, alter you indelibly.”- Abby Jimenez, Part of Your World

.
Daniel. Oh Daniel. I’ve been meeting the most amazing book boyfriends lately. Here are a few highlights…
.
-Reverse age gap
-small town vs city
-adorable animals (the norm for Abby’s books) including a baby goat with diapers and pajamas
-heroine who is a doctor
-Both main characters live very different lives
.
While this book had some traditional fun/ funny moments known from author, I think it also had a more serious angsty vibe than her other books. This one has become my favorite. The heroine, Alexis, works as a city ER doctor and Daniel is the mayor/ carpenter and innworker in a small town. Alexis’s family all works in medicine and she’s expected to uphold that legacy. Meanwhile in the small town of Wakan, Daniel lives a peaceful life and first meets Alexis when he tows her out of a ditch and then they actually connect when she walks in to his towns bar/ hangout place. Newly single and out of a bad relationship, Alexis was not looking for an bring serious but sometimes life has other plans for you.
.
Alexis was great ( especially when she had a conversation with another character in the book about believing her) but Daniel really made this book extra special. So did all the magic in the Wakan. The author tackled some heavy topics in this book but I felt like they were well done and weren’t just put in for the sake of it. Some of the possible TW warnings would be emotional & physical abuse, gaslighting, depression and PTSD.

Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez explores the question: what happens when two people with completely opposite lifestyles in every way fall in love? When Alexis Montgomery, an metropolitan ER doctor swerves to avoid a raccoon, ends up in a ditch, and is a saved by a stranger—she had no idea that her life would change forever. Daniel Grant, a young carpenter and B & B host saves Alexis and is instantly drawn to her. Can these two people navigate all of the many roadblocks in their way? In Part of Your World, Abby Jimenez takes readers on an emotional and angst-filled journey as the two main characters try to find a way to be together. The novel is so heartfelt and moving. Part of Your World, Abby Jimenez is another great read from a brilliant author in the genre.

This was a cute rom-com that fits in nicely with Abby Jiminez's previous books.
Trigger warning: there is talk and instances of abusive partners in both physical and emotional ways.
In this book, Alexis is a big city ER doctor, much to her parents dismay. They are surgeons and do not approve of her career choice to not carry on the family tradition. Daniel is a hardworking country boy who runs a bed and breakfast part time and makes furniture the rest. When the two meet through random chance (her car breaks down and he rescues her), it starts a relationship that makes her happy but she knows no one else in her life will approve of. Will she stay in the city with her ex who is trying to win her back? Or will she break out from under her parents and take a chance on love? Will Daniel try to fit in with the rich city family or will he stay in the country with everyone he knows even of it means giving up love?

This book was pretty predictable but I love that about these books. You know what's going to be the end but it's what you have been waiting for.

As a true Abby groupie, I will read anything she publishes. This was no exception and highlighted her writing abilities. If you have read her other books, this one appears to be in a new "world" with new characters to love. There is lots to love in this one, but some might find it a little less believable than her previous novels. I am excited to learn that she will continue this "world" in an upcoming book next year. The audio is done by the same team that did previous books. Thanks NetGalley for the free ARC, all views my own and not influenced by this. #PartofYourWorld #NetGalley

I don't even know where to begin with this amazingly wonderful book! It took me way too long to finally start this one, mainly because of all the hype I've been seeing. I was worried that it wouldn't live up to my expectations. And I'm happy to report that it was even better than I was expecting! I just adored the dynamics between Alexis and Daniel. Two strangers from two very different worlds that have nothing in common, yet are made for each other. Add in the subtle Disney themes and this book is just perfect. I can't wait to read the next book by Abby Jiminez, featuring Bri, Alexis' best friend.

Why did it take me so long to write this review!? I have no idea. Great book. Anything from Abby is fantastic. The chemistry between the characters was so. Good. :)

An incredible book from Abby Jimenez as always.

For me, this book hit totally different in regards to relatability and I think that may be the case for many readers as many of the characteristics that these characters have are relatable.

Unsurprisingly, I loved this couple and I could not help rooting for them. I especially had a soft spot for Daniel but then again, I really felt for Alexis and the familial pressure that she was put under.

This was a realistic and relatable read but it also had an underlying element of enchantment. The story and setting of Wakan was absolutely charming.

I feel like I say this for every Abby Jimenez book but I absolutely cannot wait to read Bri's story next!

Simply WOW! Abby Jimenez’s latest book Part of Your World gave me all of the feels. I am laughing from the kid in pjs and Kevin Bacon, crying at her relationship with Neil, swooning about Daniel and the joy he brings Ali, and lastly angry about her father with his behavior/ demands. This book has trigger warnings so please review before reading but was written in such a way you will get lost in the story. Definitely a favorite book of 2022.

This is Abby Jimenez's best work to date. This story felt hopeful, honest, and filled with raw emotion. I laughed, I cried, and now I seriously want a baby goat. If you loved The Friend Zone trilogy, this is even BETTER. Don't miss it.

This book was so amazing that I'm shocked I forgot to review it here. I'm a Jimenez super fan so I've recommended this one, gifted this one multiple times, and reread this one. I could go on and on about how much I loved this one but I honestly just tell people it's best to read it for themselves and discover it's magic without any spoilers.
