One thing I love about Abby’s books is that she hits all the nails on the head! She gives us humour, heart and steam and doesn’t sacrifice plot for any of it!

The chemistry between Alexis and Daniel was perfect. And I truly enjoyed how while they both had reservations, Alexis more so than Daniel, they seemed to always follow their hearts and I am always here for that kind of journey!

Beyond the two MCs the town of Wakan and its residents were so enjoyable. I wanted to escape there instantly! And I cannot wait to see what future role it plays in Abby’s future books.

As I said the humour and steam were great but let me focus on the heart! Alexis is a doctor after all and so it seems fitting! Part of Your World covers a lot of ground. Many of the characters are dealing with things beyond trying to figure out how to get everything they want. Toxic relationships may be the central issue, with emotional and physical abuse each coming into play. But it goes beyond that and covers social structures and obligations and mental health. The heart weaves its way through every single aspect of this book and I think that’s what is so special about it! Tiny life lessons abound!

I am so grateful to Forever Publishing and Netgalley for letting me read this eARC in exchange of an honest review!

Abby did it again, Part of Your World was amazing! Every book she writes will suck you right in and you won’t be able to sleep until you finish it. Without giving any spoilers I will say that the relationship that Alexis and Daniel have is fireworks right from the beginning. There is an age gap and it’s long distance. The way each of them is so different yet when they’re together they are so happy in love. Abby writes about abuse in a relationship in the form of verbal abuse which I feel is a form of abuse not known or thought about as often and how it’s hard to get out of that relationship. The whole book was wonderfully written and I love the way she connects all her books together in little ways. I have cried while reading each of her books and this one did the same. You will fall for Alexis and Daniel and their relationship and feel like they are close friends and you just need to know how their story ends. I definitely recommend this read and her other 3 books!

I just finished reading this book and let me just say that it was difficult to put it down. Every chapter led me to wanting to read another that I didn’t sleep until 2:30am. This is one of those poor-and-rich-couple-whose-lives-would-never-work-out stories. I feel like every time I read a new book that Abby writes, I always tell myself “this is her best book yet”. I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love reading this book. Alexis’ character touched me in a way that I can relate how people have big expectations of me. Daniel is such an adorable character and is definitely my new book boyfriend. My real longterm boyfriend is also a woodworker so this book is so relatable! I’m not wealthy like Alexis but in some ways, their characters are very relatable. The book is beautifully written and it really placed me in the situations the characters were in.

First word that comes to mind after reading this book is wow just wow! This book was equal parts heart wrenching, heartwarming, comical and eye opening. Abby Jimenez does a great job at not just writing a entertaining RomCom but including relevant issues that are going on everyday. I fell in love with the characters and this story line. The kind of book that makes you want to get up and go make a difference in the world, which speaks levels to the Author itself. Absolutely phenomenal!

Another read-in-one sitting novel from
Abby Jimenez!

Things I like about her writing:
Her female friendships (in this book Bri): keeping it real, supporting without enabling and showing true compassion for each other.

Her characters: they are good, flawed people doing the best they can. The men are so soft and I’m here for it. In this one I liked that the age difference (she’s older than him) wasn’t dwelled upon, it was addressed and then we moved on- it wasn’t the main conflict of the book 👍👍

Her deft handling of hard topics: in this book it was abuse. I appreciated that she had multiple vignettes about abuse: emotional, mental, physical, partner, family- it doesn’t just look like one thing. Even with all these instances it wasn’t overwhelming. Other hard topics that she covers in previous books: infertility, death of a spouse, chronic illness, and mental health. The author always tackles these with a blend of humor and heaviness.

Working at relationships: Navigating what it’s like to listen to your heart and make a relationship work. Most of the time the author doesn’t make us wait until the very end of the book to see the characters enjoying being in their relationship. There’s always some point where you’re like, ok but how are they going to get through this? And then when they do it’s very satisfying and the HEA feels earned.

Steam level. In this book, the first few sex scenes were sort of alluded to instead of being part of the plot and I was like why you gotta do that to us, Abby? She’s not usually a fade-to-black writer. Thankfully that was not the case for the whole book.

Continuity: I love the connections between the characters in all her books. In each story there are callbacks to characters in previous novels- sometimes they are a big part of the book woven into the plot and sometimes it’s just references like in this one Josh (the friend zone) is casually mentioned as being Daniel’s cousin. It makes it feel like a cozy little world you get to experience again and again.

I didn’t fall in love with the main relationship as much this round (maybe because I had just binged all the other books and my heart was so full already?) It also seemed like there was less of the authors signature witty banter which has made me laugh out loud in her other books. It was there just a little muted. Still a super delightful read!

P.S. As a late 30s something woman the title is giving me serious Aladdin vibes and I’m not sure how I feel about it. 🧞‍♂️

get ready, this will be a book that you most definitely will hug when you finish. I LOVED this RomCom! It was so cute, the banter is so good, you fall in love with the main characters, and strongly dislike others. Another reason I love this book is that it leaves you with life mantras, one’s you can apply realistically to your life. I cannot wait for everyone to feel this book, because you will not read this with your eyes, you will feel this book with your heart.

⚠️abuse: mentally, emotionally and physically.

Thank you netgalley, Forever publishing and Abby Jimenez

(CW: Death, Harassment, Abuse)
Can April come any sooner? To be fair, I got the email I was approved and then immediately wanted to read it, I WAS THAT EXCITED.
Anyway, I loved it. I can't pinpoint where it ranks quite yet, but this was amazing. And let me tell you why.
I didn't think I would enjoy an age gap romance (The Idea of You is okay in my opinion) but this was so well done. I mean, Daniel is really mature for his age of 28, so that helped a lot. The insta-love is also something I'm grappling to see if I truly love the trope but I fell in love with Daniel from the minute he stepped on the page.
But where I think Abby just took it to a whole new level was Alexis and her relationship with her family. You can definitely see she and Daniel come from different lifestyles and she wants him and loves him so much but her parents (specifically her dad) want her to be this well known, smart, successful doctor, and a part of me could relate to that growing up in an Asian household.
Anyway, I could rant on about how much I loved this book, it was amazing. The relationship, the character development, JUST THE AFFECTION. Oh and all the fairytale odes. It was great.

I could not stop reading this book!! I finished it in one sitting and let me just say, it was one my favorite books that I’ve read this year! Surprisingly, this is the first book I’ve read from Abby Jimenez, but I will definitely be reading all of her other books ASAP.

Part of your world features Daniel and Alexis. Daniel has it all; he’s tall, dark, and handsome paired with a beard and tattoos. He also happens to be the most caring and dependable guy. He comes from a very small town where he wears many hats including running a B&B. Alexis comes from a completely different world. She is an ER doctor and comes from a very rich and influential family of doctors. Everything in her life has been decided for her. She doesn’t even know how to cook or clean for herself because she’s always had staff to do it for her. One night, Alexis is passing through Daniel’s small town when she swerves off the road and into a ditch to avoid hitting a raccoon. Daniel stops to give her a tow and they end up spending the night together. They can’t seem to get the other out of their heads and start a friends with benefits type of relationship except they are basically strangers.

I am so in love with Alexis and Daniel! They have amazing chemistry, great banter, and both are so invested in helping the other grow. I love when a book makes me feel like I am a part of it, like I know these characters personally, and that is exactly what Abby Jimenez’s writing did. I don’t know how many times I had literal butterflies in my stomach, and I grinned so much my face hurt. There was so much that I could relate to with certain situations the characters went through, and I’m honestly so sad to have finished the book. I would just recommend reading the trigger warnings before starting the book.

I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy of the book. I know this will be a comfort read that I come back to reread, and I can’t wait to start reading more books from Abby Jimenez!
I will definitely be recommending this book to every romance reader I know!

Abby has done it again! This book is absolutely wonderful. It deals with the real life issue of abuse in such a delicate way. The characters are sooo relatable. As usual, the witty dialogue was entertaining and flows naturally. The best way I can think to describe the book is Sweet Home Alabama vibes with some Disney magic thrown in. Daniel is an absolutely dreamy leading man. Seeing Ali’s growth into a strong independent woman was empowering. I love how the little town was a character and had a personality of its own. I can’t wait for Abby’s next book!

When I found out I’d received an early arc of Part of Your World, I may have squealed. When Abby Jimenez puts out any book, it immediately gets pre-ordered. Then I wait for months in eager anticipation.

I was torn between wanting to devour the entire book in a single sitting, avoiding all my other parenting duties and letting myself read only a little at a time to savior it. I ended up doing something in the middle. I made myself take breaks throughout this book but thought about Alexis and Daniel the whole time I was apart from it. Definitely the sign of a must read!

To say I loved this book would be an understatement. Such a sweet love story. I loved the main characters, the magical little town of Wakan and even little Chloe the goat. Loved the symbolism of the dragonflies each time they were mentioned. Loved the elements of Disney stories and themes of family and royalty. Loved Mother Nature having a say in the town and who lives there. I found myself googling to see if the town was real and if I could also make the drive from my home in Minneapolis. Sadly, it’s fictional.

Only sad that book is over. But I will keep thinking about this story, the characters and read it many times over. I will be telling everyone I know to read this and every other Abby Jimenez book as well.

Counting down until her next release.

Thank you to Abby Jimenez, Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley for letting me read an early copy of this ebook.

Major thanks to NetGalley, Forever and Abby Jimenez for the arc.

Let me preface this by saying Abby Jimenez has quickly moved to my short list of authors I auto-buy. I don’t even care what the book is about. I don’t need a blurb or a cover (although I love them.) I’d read her grocery list. Jimenez does not disappoint. In fact she outdoes herself each book. Receiving this arc was such a gift. Release date felt like forever away and now that I read A Part of Your World I think I need to read it again.

A Part of Your World…. was so, so good. I almost didn’t even want to start it because I knew I wouldn’t want it to end. I couldn’t put it down and when I absolutely had to (because life) I couldn’t stop thinking about the characters. I’m not sure if I love Alexis or Daniel more. This story moved me to tears, which a book has not done in so long. It made me smile, it warmed my heart, it made me think about life and love.

The fairytale of Alexis and Daniel was so good for my soul. They were almost a modern day Ariel & Eric or Beauty & the Beast. Both so important in their own universes but almost unimaginable to blend the two together. Yet you can’t imagine the two being apart, all in the same breath. Both had survived the people in their worlds and the struggles life threw at them. Both so loyal that they’re faced with the hardest decision. Can love be enough? Is love the most important thing, or should it be?

Read this book. Devour it. Nurse your book hangover.

Another delightful read by Abby Jimenez!
As a MN girl, born and raised, I will always love seeing reference to my home state. In this book, more than any of Abbys prior books, I can relate (growing up in a tourist town). But also, I escaped an emotionally abusive marriage. It was the same for me that most couldn’t see or believe it and took his side when I was finally able to escape. I felt like Abby handled this topic and the more extreme physically abusive relationship with 100% the right approach.

The story sucks you in and has you cheering for Daniel and feeling for Alexis. And I loved the magic that we saw in Wakan.

Don’t miss out on this amazing story!

Abby Jimenez did an amazing job again with her new book, Part of Your World. The amount of humor and emotion she puts into her books is absolutely perfect. I really love that in every book that Abby write she touches on a hard to talk about subject that, we as people, go through or have gone through. She makes her characters and stories so relatable that you really feel the emotions pouring out of her. POYW is no different than her previous books. This books talks about domestic violence, both emotional and physical. As a victim of past emotional abuse in a previous marriage, I can say without a doubt that she nailed it. Alexis and Daniels’s story will make you laugh and cry. From the moment they meet, you will be rooting for them until the very end. I loved this story and cannot wait to read it again. Thank you Abby, for writing this story and opening more eyes to effects and damage of domestic violence.

Abby Jimenez has done it again with this book. Part of Your World is brilliant, funny, endearing, and so much more! This book has only cemented Abby as one of my all time favorite authors. My heart was along for the ride as Alexis and Daniel met and became part of each other’s worlds. I cannot say enough about how good this book made me feel. Do not hesitate to pick this book up as soon as you can. And if you haven’t read The Friend Zone, The Happy Ever After Playlist or Life’s Too Short pick those up as well. Long time Abby readers will definitely appreciate the nods to her other titles and Minnesota. This book easily gets 5 stars from me.

Alexis is from a wealthy family with a legacy of world-renowned surgeons. Abby is happy with being an ER Doctor. One night on her way home, in a small town, her car veers off into a ditch. The man who pulls her car out is Daniel Grant. He's a super hot construction worker and is 10 years younger than her. He's casual, charming, and they have immediate chemistry.

Alexis is a city girl, with a busy life, and Daniel is quite the opposite, but what they have is unbelievable and amazing. Daniel just doesn't seem to fit into her world though. Their lives are very different. Can she find a way to to be with this man?

This book was so good! I laughed and totally loved these characters. The story was so fun. There's a pajama wearing baby goat, a dog, a pig, and shenanigans. This is definitely one my romcom lovers will want to add to your list.

Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for the gifted copy in exchange for an honest review! All opinions are my own!

I was lucky enough to read an advanced copy of Abby Jimenez's latest book, Part of Your World. Within 24 hours, I devoured it! The best book I have read all year and one I know I will want to read again and again.
All the characters have so much heart and interest. Even though the story was about Daniel and Alexis, I loved learning about Liz, Brian, Doug, Bri and well, all of them. The town of Wakan was so magical which was another special element of the book. Getting back to the heart of the book, Daniel and Alexis. Wow! Dare I say my favorite couple in all of Abby's books?!? Definition of soulmates here. If I had one flaw it would be that I wanted more! I could have read another whole book about the lead up to the wedding, their honeymoon and their next chapter of being parents. I would also love to see this book on the big screen - please make this happen!
Thank you for the opportunity to review Part of Your World! Truly an amazing read!

Oh me oh my…. Abby Jimenez does it again! A mix of romcom, drama and farm animals brings together this remarkable FUN story! At times, it’s a bit “When Harry Met Sally” and it works beautifully! As per Abby’s typical brilliance, the book isn’t all fun - there are many difficult topics included in the story. However, they are brilliantly written and blended into the over arching storyline that even though they are tough topics they are treated with tender loving care that adds to the story before her typical wit comes back in another scene. I love all the hometown MN references, and Hunter - who couldn’t love Hunter! It’s simply brilliant. A huge thanks to Abby and NetGalley for the early read. I know I’ll be reading it again!

I always love Abby Jimenez books and this one was no exception. However, there were a few things that bugged me so I can't give it a full 5 stars.

Things I liked:
-Loved the chemistry between the main characters. I was rooting for them from the very beginning.
-The focus on different aspects of abuse that are not typically talked about. Specifically enjoyed the exploration of emotional abuse and the impact its hard on the main character's life.
-Great side characters and fun, silly plot lines (looking at you goat in pajamas)

Things I didn't like:
-Her family and "friends" drove me absolutely insane throughout the whole book. And look, I get that that is quite literally the point of the story, but I was infuriated by how the MC just sat there and took it all. Again, I realize this is the point of the story, but it felt like too much to me. It seems unreasonable to believe Alexis would not realize these other people in her life were being emotionally abusive to her given how blatantly obvious that abuse was.
-I would have liked to see the domestic violence storyline explored more with Daniel. I wanted the scenes of him being the complete opposite from the abusive situation she left. I wanted to see him reassure her that she was enough. We got a little of that told from his internal perspective, but I wanted to see them work through it together.
-Insta-love pacing at the beginning of the story. I hate insta-love stories and so I was really thrown off by how the book started off. It threw the pacing off for me and made the story drag a bit.

Overall thoughts:
Another great Abby Jimenez book. I will always recommend this author. If you've never read an Abby Jimenez book before though, be warned, this is not a cute, fluffy romance read. This story explores heavy topics that are difficult to read and make you want to throw the book across the room at times. But its an important story to share and I really loved reading about Alexis and Daniel's love story.

Loved this! I cannot tell you the ‘laughing to crying’ ratio in this book because there was so much of both. This book just makes you FEEL, and I did not want to put it down.

Alexis is newly single after dumping her cheating, gas lighting boyfriend, and is pulled from a ditch by a hot young dude, Daniel. She eventually gives into her feelings for Daniel and spends more and more time in his magical town, hours away from her real life.

Alexis and Daniel couldn’t be from oppositer (that’s not a word, btw) sides of the track. But they just fit. Alexis has finally found a place and a person with whom she can thrive. Her intelligence and competencies shine and she soaks up love and new experiences like a sponge.

Alexis is shouldering the expectations of so many people that she is made smaller in her “real world.” There is so much emotional growth for her in this story as she realizes the difference in existing for other people and living for yourself.

This book deals with some tough subjects and handles the situation honestly. There was one situation where Alexis looks at a woman and just says “I believe you.” And it’s so powerful.

This is a wonderful book and fans of Abby Jimenez will not be disappointed. I loved it!

I am so in love with anything Abby Jimenez writes. I was STOKED to get approval for an early ARC. Each time I finish one of her books, I immediately feel empty because the story is over. I made myself stretch this one out over a week and it was almost torture. I hated to put it down. She has such a way of writing and I always feel wrapped up in the middle of her stories. Like I’m apart of the story too. I loved the story of Alexis and Daniel. It was such a beautiful, heartbreakingly beautiful story. Hilarious dialogue, serious issues brought to light and always wrapped up in a loving and beautiful ending. Cannot wait for Bri’s story!
