Thank you, thank you, thank you @readforeverpub, @netgalley and Abby Jimenez for the gifted digital copy! I literally screamed in joy when I received this!

Guys, she’s done it again! This book is a MUST read. I loved it so much that I read it within a day, and I’m going to get that hardcopy for my collection when it releases April 19th 😍

Abby is an expert at writing beautiful stories that combine so much humor, love, and chemistry with real life hardships.

Her characters and the situations they find themselves in are always so extremely relatable. I’ve personally now connected with two of her characters’ circumstances. And in a way, reading about it in her stories has made me feel less alone ❤️

Daniel is an absolute dream. Tall, bearded, and the epitome of a gentleman. He’s got tattoos and wears flannel, what more could we want?? And his chemistry with Alexis is insane. Their banter alone made me wish this book would never end!

But, as with every Abby Jimenez book, have your tissues handy. This book is funny, relatable, and oh so emotional. It may be my favorite of Abby’s yet!

Please go pre-order it now! You will not regret it ❤️

Abby J. just keeps getting better and better! Age gap romances are not my preferred trope, but I was here for Alexis and Daniel.. I couldn’t put it down! Finished in one sitting, and few books inspire me to do that! I would put a warning on it for anybody who might be triggered by abuse, but other than that, I WILL be encouraging my friends to read this when it releases!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Do you remember the first author you called your favorite? The first one you stalked on social media and couldn't tell enough people about because you wanted everyone you knew to read their book? I do remember, it was Abby Jimenez... She was the author who preceded the amazing writers in my favorites list. This book reminded me why... This book reminded me why I would drop everything to read anything Abby has written without reading a blurb or seeing the cover. I just know I have to read it, because I just know I will definitely love it. And I did, in a way only Abby Jimenez can make me love a book.

Daniel and Alexis were absolutely everything! They were overflowing sweetness from the funniest meet-cute ever to the heartwarming and wholesome happy ending. Abby created the most magical couple in this book, they had a natural connection and a relationship that didn't feel forced or difficult to build up because it was simple, they personalities and even their inner needs just matched, they were effortlessly perfect even when their worlds were the opposite from one another.

Here comes Abby again bringing perfect heroes to life. Josh from The Friend Zone has always been my favorite hero of hers, but Daniel just make him second. He was the epitome of book boyfriends. Kind, generous, hospitable and with a sincere love for his neighbor, no matter who they were. I loved the fact that just by simply being himself, Alexis felt more at home than she was in her own house. Having his point of view in the story was everything because the way he saw Alexis, how he expressed himself about her, about what he made him feel was so swoony and sometimes heartbreaking because of their situation. He didn't know how amazing he was and how much other people needed him because giving himself to others without asking something in return was just his nature. He was loyal to the core, a good guy at heart who wanted to protect everyone, especially who really mattered to him. He deserved the love of Alexis, he deserve everything he wanted and more.

Everything about Alexis broke my heart several times. I loved how much she grew throughout the story and how much being in Daniel's world empowered her to be who she wanted, to live her life how she wanted and see the power within her to achieve it. I loved seeing her switching her entire perspective about life as the story went on and as she was falling more and more with Daniel. I loved that she was already on her way to change her life for the better and meeting Daniel only encouraged her even more to overcome what was keeping her to live her life to the fullest and being able to stand up for herself and put her heart in the people and things that really mattered. I understood her and rooted for her from start to finish, even though sometimes her decisions and actions broke my heart. She needed to go through so much to finally allow true happiness to enter her life and I couldn't stop smiling like a fool as she fought for her happy ever after with Daniel.

They had more in common than they originally thought and had an amazing relationship that progressed beautifully through the pages. They were both generous and kind and had so much to give to the world and made a great team. Even though the book isn't as steamy, the intimacy and closeness they experienced was so swoony and deliciously heart touching! I loved how they were so supportive and defensive of one another from the very start, how they didn't take each other's efforts and work for granted and believed in greater goods together and worked together to be better people than they were before.

"Grace costs you nothing."

The disparity between both of their worlds were so well written it hurt me physically. I consider this book low angst, but still, I felt it in my bones. It made my heart wreck with every detail and every difference that were meant to keep them apart, made the happy ending even more satisfying and beautiful. Abby wrote Alexis and Daniel in such way that I was able to see them, hear them, laugh with them and cry with them and I still I couldn't get enough.

The small town vibe was for the books! It was magical, in every sense of the word. The smallest small town I've ever read and I loved all of their residents. They were a real community, the family Alexis needed all along. Abby did an amazing job giving this little village a glimpse of what entire countries around the world struggle with and emphasized with utter perfection how we as a society need to do better with people in need. Topics like the lack of affordable healthcare, the access to it and the importance of believing women's stories and integral support for victims of domestic violence were exemplified in such a beautiful way that I'm sure it will touch many readers lives just as it touched mine. It was small town perfection! Animals and all, which by the way were beyond adorable! As always, I am mesmerized with how beautifully Abby writes animals. She gives each one of them an incredible personality that matches perfectly with the couple and makes you fall in love with them. A baby goat in pajamas, a pig and an adorable crazy dog? The most amazing add on to the family!

I can't recommend this book enough, we're still far away from release date but I encourage you with all my heart to pre-order and to not miss this incredible story. I am beyond honored to have read it and enjoyed it more than I could ever express. Abby Jimenez is a Romance genius. Every single detail she writes, as small as it could be is well thought and intentional to make a book unforgettable! This book is proof of that, so far, my favorite book by her!

A million thanks to Abby Jimenez and Forever for approving my request on NetGalley to read this amazing book before the release. I cannot wait to have it in my shelf and read book two in this amazing series.

Thank you, Abby Jimenez, letting us be part of YOUR world! Another gifted story to share about Alexis and Daniel. They shouldn’t work…and yet they do, always being brought back to each other. I highly recommend this book. It’s full of wonderful details, hilarious stories, and the right amount of romance. I love their story set in Minnesota and the little gems that honor what makes small towns so special. Kudos, Abby. I can’t wait for to read this novel again and to catch Bri’s story next.

I have read all of Abby’s previous books, but I think this one was my favorite. The descriptive language in her books always makes you feel like you are experiencing the story with the characters, but for some reason, this one just drew me in and made me feel so immersed in what was happening. I loved the main characters and how naturally their relationship developed. I loved that they came from different worlds and how they fought for each other. This is a real winner!!

IF you haven't read a book by Abby Jimenez yet, what are you waiting for? I have loved every one, and this is no exception. While the books take place in the same world, this can absolutely be read as a standalone. I've read all of them, and while it's fun to catch references to characters from other books, they definitely aren't part of the storyline. This story is all about Alexis and Daniel, and they are definitely one of my new favorite couples.

This feels like a city mouse- country mouse story. There are lots of Disney and fairytale references which are charming. I know I will read it again and be a little more focused on all the different connections. Alexis is a doctor from Minneapolis, and her family is hospital royalty. Daniel is fro a small town a couple hours away, a town that his family has always taken care of. Their first meeting is awesome and will have you googling pictures of goats in pajamas. And the rest of their journey is equally lovely as they grapple with their strong connection and their familial/community responsibilities. I loved it. I can't wait to read it again. And now I can't wait for the next book!

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book follows in Jimenez's trademark ability to pair humor with difficult topics in the most perfect balance. She puts her characters through the wringer with realistic and relatable adversities and makes you feel all the feels.

You absolutely can read this as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading her books in order. Not only are they all amazing, but there are interconnected moments you'll love.

The meet cute in this book is everything (just like all her books!) and I was swooning over Daniel immediately. He is such a fantastic hero. He was so lovable and swoon worthy and only became more so with each page.

I loved Alexis from the beginning too. Her character flaws are so situational and it was really amazing to see her grow. I loved her personality and I loved her heart.

The dichotomy between super small town and big city is so well done in this book. I loved the glimpses we got into both as it was enlightening into the upbringings of Daniel and Alexis.

I cannot say enough good things about this book. It was wonderful. The communication between the characters, the romance, and the difficult topics covered were just a few of my favorites.

I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.

What to expect:
*Opposites attract/Hidden romance
*Small town vs big city setting
*Chosen family over birth family
*Pressure of family obligations
*Escaping mentally abusive relationships

Plot: Neil is a small town guy, running his families B&B, selling his carpentry pieces and trying to keep his families legacy alive. He helps everyone around him without expecting anything in return because that’s how things are done in Wakan.

Alexis is an ER Dr at the hospital her great great great grandfather started. She’s on a career track set for her before she was even born. She’s achieved everything she was always told she would but is miserable. She’s recently broken it off with her mentally abusive boyfriend, who her father adored and expects her to get back together with.

By chance, these two characters meet when Alexis’s car breaks down in Wakan. They hit it off instantly and a one night stand becomes several and before they know it they’re falling in love. But Alexis refuses to let herself feel that way. She has too many obligations to her family legacy and doesn’t see how Neil can fit into that life. At the same time she’s not sure how to live without him.

My thoughts: This book was so good, it captivated me from the start, broke my heart and put it back together again. The journey the two characters, Neil & Alexis, take was remarkable and one of the most emotional I’ve read recently. It touched on so many things related to emotional abuse, escaping toxic relationships, choosing your own happiness & path in life. This was enjoyable to read, but also frustrating & infuriating. The range of emotions I felt is what makes this book stand out for me, ultimately falling completely in love with their story & ending.

Part of your world had me hooked from the first chapter. I love how realistic the worlds and scenarios Abbey creates are with the long distance relationship issues, the reality of online dating Bri experiences, to the abuse both physical and emotional situations. She handles them in a way that doesn't brush them over just to add to the storyline which is very important. This may be one of my favorite Abbey books and includes my new favorite characters. I laughed out loud at many scenes mostly the Daniel, Doug, and Brian conversations. I can't wait until this book is released as I will definitely be recommending it to all my friends.

I loved this book. I read it in one sitting cause I couldn’t put it down. A baby goat, a hot carpenter, an age gap, small town magic .. I mean what more can we ask for?

I loved the way the author wrote about this small town. I felt like just enough detail was added about the town, it’s history, and the side characters to fall in love with it.

I loved the character development in Alexis, our MC. She was going through a lot and watching her grow through the story as someone who has been in a relationship like the one between Alexis and her abusive ex was like seeing me grow through the pages.

Daniel is absolutely swoon worthy and will be everyone’s next book bf. I mean come on, he was a gem. Sweet and genuine. So passionate and loving ahhhh! The way him and Alexis fall in love, will have you in your feels.

I thought the DV mentioned and trauma worked through was done well. Seeing the full cycle of abuse was infuriating but I personally thought the conversations were handled well and with care.

This was such a good book! I really loved it

CW: on page physical abuse to side character. Gaslighting and emotional abuse to MC by ex partner and parents.

Amazing! I couldn’t put this book down once I started it. Abby has such an incredible talent for making you feel like you have a personal connection to the characters, and you cannot help but to fall in love with them from the first page.

Part of Your World made my heart happy, I smiled, laughed out loud, and cried.

It begins with a great “meet cute” between Alexis and Daniel. Alexis is at a point in her life where she is trying to work through many difficult relationships involving her ex-boyfriend of 7 years, her parents and a few snobby friends. She is trying to reconcile these complex and nuanced relationships that have shaped who she currently is, in hopes of finding her true self and happiness.

While trying to navigate all of these past experiences to find a new path forward Daniel has come in to her life. Now she must fight the urge to let herself fall in love with him while she is still working on herself.

This book was a magical trip to small-town America and the kind of setting we all secretly would love to in. Who doesn't want to be rescued by a cute guy as you shimmy out of your Spanx? The love story between Alexis and Daniel was so charming and heartfelt, I was swept right in. I finished the book in less than 6 1/2 hours and I've never done that before.

If you want friendship, fun, laughter, community and a hard-fought love in the end, this is the book for you.

A dog in love (with a person, no less) and a baby goat just add to the love story that isn't just between two people but with an entire town. If you loved the movie "Doc Hollywood" you'll love this book.

Abby Jimenez delivers yet another page turner that you may not be able to put down! In Part of Your World, Abby shares with us the lives of two people who come from drastically different levels of society. We get to experience both worlds from their initial point of view and see how their views change as the story unfolds. All the little details Abby includes really help you visualize theirs worlds and relate to many of the characters. As usual, Abby also tackles some very sensitive topics in a way that will likely be very eye-opening to many readers. Oh, and yes, there is a baby goat in pajamas and maybe some other surprise animals!!!

This was one of my most anticipated reads, being a HUGE fan of the Friend Zone series, and it did not disappoint!!

Daniel and Alexis come from completely different worlds. Daniel is 28 years old, works as the “mayor” in a small, rural town, has tattoos, did not go to college and does not know how to use Uber or social media. Alexis is 37 years old, lives in city, is an ER doctor, comes from a family with a prominent and prestigious background and has never done her own laundry or the dishes. When Alexis’ car gets stuck in a ditch on her way home from a funeral, and Daniel comes to the rescue, the two quickly find peace and comfort within each other despite being at all odds.

I loved so much about this book. It’s charming, funny and will take you on an emotional roller coaster. Like Jimenez’s other books, this story is more than a typical romance. Real life struggles and issues are addressed and so well portrayed through the character’s dialogue and internal thoughts. I love how you were able to see Alexis and Daniel grow with each other as they pushed themselves outside each other’s comfort zone. I also totally fell in love with the magical town of Wakan. It kind of reminded me of Virgin River.

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the advanced copy. I can’t wait for Bri’s story in 2023.

Well, Abby has done it again. This book is magical. It had me smiling and laughing and sobbing (ugh, Chapter 35 got the waterworks going) and holy cow it is just so good. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Abby has a gift and I’ll read anything she writes. HEAP will always be my favourite (it is my favourite book period) but Part of Your World is a close second.

Alexis is a character so many women can probably relate to. She has the weight of the world and her family’s expectations on her shoulders, and grapples with balancing her wants and desires with those pressures. And with Daniel Abby has created such a wonderful, mature (despite the age gap), kind and compassionate character that it would be hard to not fall in love with. I love that Abby writes with the dual POV because I love getting both main characters’ perspectives as they fall for each other. And then the cast of supporting characters is so lovely and adds so much warmth and heart to the story.

I also loved the little connections to HEAP (I won’t say anything else so as not to spoil, but there are some big and small references to HEAP that fans will love).

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Wow! Just...wow! It felt like I was right there with the characters and not just reading a book. I love how she wrote about the different types of abuse and that you can survive, you can get help. There is hope! She managed to intertwine this with bringing two different worlds together and an amazing love story that you would expect to hear from your Great Grandparents. All this AND a baby goat in pajamas 🤣

Honestly, what is there even to say about Abby Jimenez that hasn’t already been said? She will make you laugh out loud and cry, sometimes in the same chapter. Her characters are multidimensional, with complex thoughts and ideas and hopes and fears. Ya know, like real human people. She single-handedly saved me from the deep reading slump of 2021 in which I spent 3 days reading all 3 of her books, then fell directly back into a reading slump when alas, I had read all her books. What did I love about this book in particular? The same thing I love about all of Abby’s books. She captures human struggle and heartache with tenderness and care in a way that feels realistic. Sure, just as in life, there is pain. But she tackles it in a way that feels like getting the best, warmest hug of your life. I think the best part about Abby’s books is that as much as love saves her main characters, they always save themselves first

I liked the relationship between Alexis and Daniel and how she learned how to stand up for herself.
I liked the look into relationships and therapy. Definitely some triggers for anyone who has been in an abusive relationship.
A cute romance.

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC!

This was a wonderful book. The interweaving plot lines and the characters were fantastic. I love how the author can take several heavy, real life issues and tackle them with honesty and grace, but also a touch of humor. This is definitely an author and book I’d recommend, and one I know I will buy a paper copy of and read again (which I don’t do often!).
