Thank you to netgally and victory editing. I thought the cover was eye catching and very pretty. First book I've read by this author and I'll definitely be looking into others!

I know this was the 3rd in the Hellbound series but it didn't really matter that I hadn't read the others which was nice. I didn't care for the way it abruptly ended but I'm sure the next book will pick right back up and I'm interested to see what happens next.

Enemy's to lovers, shifters, and forbidden love. What's not to love about this book?!
Both are insanely attracted to eachother but neither will admit it due to "hating" one another until a tragic event forces them together and they can't hide their feelings.

I wanted to like this book, but unfortunately I couldn't finish it.

The Upside:
* Multi-perspective
* Good pacing
* Easy read
* Familiar plot lines

The Downside:
*I admittedly have a lower tolerance for books involving underage characters. I was slightly offput by our MC being 17, but not enough to put the book down. However, once I reached the flashback of an 18 year old kissing a 14 year old I had to stop.
*There didn't feel like there was anything unique about this girl (aside from the paranormal, which is common in her setting). She's described as a young, petite, and perfectly beautiful. There didn't feel like much to relate to.

The Neutral:
*When in Mei's perspective it truly felt like reading a teenage girl's diary

This ultimately wasn't for me

A smutty book about shifters who fight each other for dominance? Yes sir, sign me up. All that forbidden lust and intense jealously amplified the spice, and this author know how to write a steamy scene. I love that it wasn't necessary to have read the previous books in the series, the world and characters are easy to follow and root for. 10/10

Good looking, arrogant, and hunter-born.
He also happens to be my brother’s best friend.
If coming from different clans wasn’t reason enough to stay away from him, his connection to my brother is.
But every time we’re in the same room, he needles his way under my skin, demanding my attention and making the tigress in me rise up in challenge.
I hate him
He hates me.
But when the unthinkable happens, I start to wonder if hate is enough to keep our attraction to one another at bay.

I love this enemies to lovers book! :) I love the paranormal aspect of it but the draw for me was the main characters' relationship. I love how their banters and interactions with each other. So much chemistry. Warning that it's very steamy though.... (or it can be a bonus depending on your preference.... )

Thanks to the publisher for providing an arc.
