I really liked this book. Kinsey and Sasha were in the first book. They were very flirty with each other in it. I was really hoping that they would get their own book. I am so glad they did.

Both of these women spend a lot of times in their head. They are both very insecure, very anxiety. Both of them believe that their attraction to the other is unrequited. They take a road trip together and it starts to become obvious how much they like each other.

Just like the first book definitely read the trigger warnings. It seems like it will be a cute light hearted story but the women have deep, sad, backstories.

Highly recommend this book! Thank you to NetGalley and the author for the ARC!

Did not finish. I wanted it to be something more, but I found some things fell flat in terms of pacing and romance.

I’m so sad but I had to DNF this one.

The plot itself is great and the characters are likeable and interesting as well. But I just couldn’t get past the time gaps where the author left out chunks of details. In the first few chapters, Sasha and Kinsey meet and suddenly they have been friends for an entire semester. I would have loved to read more about their blossoming friendship too instead of having these time jumps disrupt the reading flow and the growing of their relationship. Instead, it’s pretty much insta love (which is one of my least favourite tropes but that’s of course a very subjective opinion).

I’m sure other people will absolutely adore this book, so don’t let this stop you from reading it! I think that if I pick this up again in a few months, I may like it a lot more so, I’ll be back!

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a digital arc!

This was such a cute friends to lovers story, I really adored Sasha and Kinsey and how they got to know each other, how they became best friends before anything else. I definitely felt everything Sasha was going through and the problems she faced with her mother and family. I loved how Sasha was always flirting and how it took Kinsey a while to realize she was serious in her flirting, i was definitely a very relatable experience in that sense. I loved how cute these two were together, their chemistry was very sweet and I loved how they supported one another, especially when they both dealt with some family problems on both ends. It had such a lovey dovey romcom feel.

Kinsey Han had a terrible break up and she thought that she ain't good at relationship but after she changed her doem she secretly had a crush on Sasha Deforest.

Sasha is a very bubbly flirty girl who always tease Kinsey whenever she could but she also love Sasha. When Kinsey's mom is hospitalized Sasha helped her and dropped her which is whole day journey. It was on that journey when they hit it off and shared their feelings.

Everything was going smoothly when Sasha's problem resurfaced and it was a big hindrance to their relationship. Why Sasha was too afraid of a problem which isn't even her fault? Is Kinsey brave enough to handle her loves problem? Will true love defeats all odds? This book gotta be one of the cutest I have read. The way Sasha unhesitatingly flirt is cute and I kind of relate to her when she hide her problems from anyone and try to solve all by herself. The writing is simple and every events is in sync which felt like watching all events in front of you.

Thank you Netgalley for this arc.

"And they were roommates"
"Omg they were roommates"

Okay, I am here for sapphic cliches. I love them so much.
This one was a fun, easy, light read, and exactly what I needed.

Definitely going to get the physical copy of this one!

What drew me in was the cover, then the description. The story itself was fine and the book written well. My biggest problem (and it's my problem, not reflective of the book or the author) is that I didn't realize this was more of a young adult novel. Because of that, the story lost me. It was a cute love story however - just not my cup of tea.

I was a little disappointed by this title. I think I didn't realize it was YA, but more than that the pacing was a bit off for me, and the chemistry between the love interests was lacking.

Such a cute, queer romance, featuring some of my favourite tropes (friends to lovers, And They Were Roommates)
This was fun and cute and really sweet, and I loved both characters so much. They were relatable and easy to love. The writing was sharp and I loved the dialogue.
While I haven't read the first book in the series, it wasn't necessary to, but I'll definitely be adding it to my TBR!

The lesfic that I've been looking for this book has so much heart!

Without a doubt one of my favourite books of the year so far! Not usually one for romances set in a college/dorm situation but this book was much more mature than I expected.

I loved this romance but what I enjoyed more was it is very much about two friends supporting each other through the hard times and learning together. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romances!

While I did enjoy this at first, it seemed to drag on for ages, and the conflict also felt contrived. I understand that they both had their own insecurities that they had to work through, before they would be able to have a healthy relationship. But this particular conflict didn't really seem to be resolved pretty easily for something that dragged out for so long. I would rather have seen page time be used for these characters to grow separately and then get together but alas. It doesn't help that miscommunication is one of my least favourite tropes. 2.5 stars

I really enjoyed this read!! Sapphic, college roommates, friends to lovers... I feel like it was MADE for me. I loved the plot, the character dynamics were so much fun to read about, and I adored watching them in all stages of relationship-making. Definitely a must read for those of us looking for college LGBTQ romances; they're few and far between! Thank you for the ARC :)

3.5 rounded up.

I thought this story was cute and I really enjoyed a lot of it. My heart went out to Sasha and all her many problems with her mother and much of her extended family. I thought it was nice to see a character with such deep familial issues. I just felt that over all the plot and problems Sasha and Kinsey faced to getting together were a bit of a mess and not really in the fun romcom way.

Thank you to Netgalley and Rachel Stockbridge for the eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The Map to You by Rachel Stockbridge was just the gentle sapphic romance I needed mid-January. This book is based in NYU and follows ex-roommates Kinsey and Sasha.

The Map to You is written switching between Kinsey and Sasha points of view. This really helps highlight each of their insecurities and miscommunications.

Both characters have experienced trauma in the past and it is really interesting to see the lasting effects depicted; how they communicate, their relationships and their reactions to emotions and conflict. I think this is a really important theme to show, especially within the queer community.

My absolute favourite part which was very heartwarming was their first non-date which was a surprise venue to Kinsey. I won't say more due to spoilers!

I didn't realise until I had already started that this is the second book in a series. I haven't read the first book yet and didn't have any issues with reading them out of order.

This book wasn't it for me. It had so much going for it that I wanted to love. So maybe it's for you! It had two female leads. They were sweet and queer and proud.

Unfortunately, the writing and the characters fell flat for me. I felt nothing for them. I kept getting Kinsey and Sasha mixed up (awkward). I know that one was spiky and had great eyeliner and the other was joyous but closed off emotionally. But that’s only because the book told me. I didn’t feel either of their personalities came through on the page.

The book deals with difficult topics, and it did a good job of showing why someone from a home with a parent who doesn’t act like a parent wouldn’t show how they’re truly feeling. I liked that even when both characters were angry and hurting, they could (eventually) see through that and try to understand the other's perspective.

Though the author tackled hard topics, the book still felt a little YA to me (though there were certainly too many fucks for it to actually be so). This was a miss for me. However, if you're looking for cute, queer romance, I hope you give it a try. I'd love for it to be a win for you.

I really enjoyed this story. I was super excited to find a New Adult Contemporary story as I usually love them I just was not expecting as much angst as there was in this book . The cover is very cute so I was expecting a lot lighter of a story that claimed to be friends to lovers. I did find the book easy to read and enjoyed the lighter moments there was just a lot of internal angst and conflict I was not expecting. I did not read the first book in the series and do not think you need to read it to enjoy this book. Overall I enjoyed this story and am excited to see what the author writes next!

I honestly didn't love this book. I found the characters to be immature and kind of annoying. The story follows Sasha and Kinsey while they are in college as a friends to lovers story. It was written in third person from duel perspectives and I struggled to find the difference in each girl's voice. It took me a good few paragraphs to figure out which character we were following at what point. Overall, I just couldn't get into the story or the characters. Many will love this wow, new adult novel, but I was not one of them.

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC of this book.
