ONE OF US IS DEAD is pure entertainment loaded with punchy, observant one-liners. Jeneva Rose has a rare talent for writing thrillers that deliver laughs as big as her twists. It's BIG LITTLE LIES meets Bravo. No one is innocent in this ticking time bomb of a book that ends early for someone...but who?

Well choo choo choo - this book was an absolute train wreck and I mean that in the best way possible! 🚂
I LOVED this book! I don’t really know what I expected going in but it definitely delivered. I loved the multiple POVs from all the wives but especially Jenny the hairstylist. We all tell our life story to our hairstylists so I thought this was a fun and unique piece to this story. I’m also really glad you know from the first page Jenny isn’t the one that ends up dead because I would’ve been DEVESTATED. She was an absolute gem.
My only complaint is that sometimes the story was repetitive because scenes would sometimes happen again from a different wife’s point of view, but other than that I loved every minute of this book!
THANK YOU NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for this ARC and thank you Jeneva Rose for writing this incredible book! One of Us is Dead comes out April 25th and you HAVE to read it!!

Have you ever wondered what Desperate Housewives would be like in book format? Well wonder no longer my friends. One Of Us Is Dead has stepped right into a niche I never even knew needed filling.
The bitchiness, botox and betrayals from One Of Us Is Dead would make the old crew from Wisteria Lane very proud.
This popcorn thriller starts with the death of one of the main characters. What we don't know until the end is which one is dead and who did it.
The short and sharp chapters are told from the point of view of the five main characters, each unraveling more of the story. This one is not a 'hide under the covers, chew your nails, and not sleep for a week' type thriller. It's more of a 'fix yourself a vodka + soda and get comfy on the couch for an afternoon of reading that will keep you guessing till the end' type thriller.
It's a solid 3.5 stars (rounded up to 4) from me
Thank you NetGalley, Blackstone Publishing, and Jeneva Rose for this ARC.

The women of Buckhead are rich, gorgeous, and full of secrets. One of them is also dead... but who?
Jeneva Rose does it again with this fun and delicious read! A mix between Big Little Lies and Real Housewives, it will keep you hooked. From the start you're made aware that someone has been murdered but not who. Each chapter is told from a different character’s point of view unraveling more of the story. I enjoyed getting to know each of these women. Some I loved and some I loved to hate. This book is worth the read!
Thank you to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for this ARC.

I tore through this in one day ! It is deliciously juicy and reading it was like binge-watching your favourite drama full of wealth, gossip, betrayal, and of course murder. I loved the multiple POV and dual timeline, it made it more difficult to guess who ended up dead and who the killer was. I highly recommend this book and already picked up The Perfect Marriage by the author and will definitely be looking forward to her future work.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
P.S. This needs to be made into a series !

The scandals. The lies, the juicy gossip! Count me In! This novel was great. I love Jeneva's work. You just really never know who to trust. Boundaries will be crossed.

The Real Housewives of Buckhead.
A thriller with rich housewife drama?! Sign me up!! I live for the over the top cattiness and scandal. Add in a little mystery, some twists, and death....and you've got the perfect summer beach thriller!!
Synopsis:
Meet the women of Buckhead -- a place of expensive cars, huge houses, and competitive friendships.
Shannon was once the queen bee of Buckhead. But she’s been unceremoniously dumped by Bryce, her politician husband. When Bryce replaces her with a much younger woman, Shannon sets out to take revenge …
Crystal has stepped into Shannon’s old shoes. A young, innocent Texan girl, she simply has no idea what she’s up against …
Olivia has waited years to take Shannon’s crown as the unofficial queen of Buckhead. Finally, her moment has come. But to take her rightful place, she will need to use every backstabbing, manipulative, underhand trick in the book …
Jenny owns Glow, the most exclusive salon in town. Jenny knows all her clients’ secrets and darkest desires. But will she ever tell?
Who amongst these women will be clever enough to survive Buckhead -- and who will wind up dead? They say that friendships can be complex, but no one said it could ever be this deadly.
I love how the author told this story through multiple points of view, including past and present. The character development was strong and I loved to hate a few of them.
Overall, another fun read by Jeneva Rose. She's been an auto-buy author for me since I read The Perfect Marriage. Grab your wine and popcorn friends, you won't want to miss this one! Pub Day 4/26/22
Thank you to Blackstone Publishing and NetGalley for the e-ARC

- Thank you to NetGalley, Blackstone Publishing, and Jeneva Rose for this advance eARC in exchange for my honest review.
I was SO excited when I received the email that I was approved for this ARC! I literally did a double take and read the email three times to make sure I was reading it correctly! So thank you! Haha
I really enjoyed this book! It was very entertaining and I felt like I was reading a script for a reality show! I could easily picture each character and each scene and I really felt like I was part of the show. It was the perfect combination of mystery and Real Housewives drama! (I’m here for all the reality show drama so this book was right up by alley!)
With that drama, unlikeable characters seem to follow and even though the character Olivia is a horrible person, she was one of my favorites! Jeneva Rose did such a wonderful job of bringing this toxic bully to life and I couldn’t help but laugh at some of the petty things she would say or how she would do anything to stir the pot! I hope this book gets turned into a move or tv show because I can’t wait to see who would be cast as Olivia!
I loved that you don’t find out until the end who was murdered and who the killer was. I definitely had guesses but I had no idea until towards the end of the book what was going to happen, and as someone who usually can figure the twist out or at least have a good guess, I LOVED that I didn’t figure this one out!
I can’t wait to read the next book Jeneva Rose writes because she has quickly become one of my top favorite authors!

A great thriller that had me guessing who was dead and who did it until the end! I read this in one day. This is the perfect book if you want a thriller that reads like a Desperate Housewives reality TV show!

I absolutely love the writing style and short chapters. It was a very addicting read that kept you guessing till the end. I will say that there are some over the top characters in this book that wore me out. One character in particular has to be the worst person ever written. The drama was dialed up to 100 and was a bit much for myself at times. I did really like the ending and its a perfect book for people that love who dunnit dramas. 3.5 rounded to 4 on GR.

Scandals, drama, secrets, gossip, lies, twists, and backstabbing galore! This is reality TV (think Big Little Lies and Real Housewives) delivered in book form with a large and dramatic red bow! It's absolutely everything you want in a juicy, mean-girls drama-fueled thriller. And the ending: literally the most satisfying justice-is-served ending WITH TWISTS that I didn't see coming at all 🤯. Mark your 📅 + grab a🍸because this is a #mustread
Meet Buckhead: a place of expensive cars, huge houses, and competitive friendships.
Meet the Women of Buckhead: Shannon, the recently displaced queen bee; Crystal, the new wife of Shannon's ex-husband; Olivia, the wanna be queen bee, and Jenny, the owner of the most exclusive salon in town.
Which of these women will be clever enough to survive Buckhead -- and who will end up dead? 🤔
Thanks so much to @blackstonepublishing @netgalley and @jenevaroseauthor for the #arc 😁
Excuse me while I go order all of Jeneva's other books!

Thank you to the author & publisher for gifting me a physical ARC & ebook (thanks to NetGalley as well)

What happens when you get a bunch of pompous, rich, White women gathering in a high end beauty salon? You get the juiciest drama with one of them dead. Oh, add in to the mix, the equally pretentious husbands and you know that constant, dreadful feeling of a looming disaster!
Each chapter is dedicated to every female character so we have chapters with the four wives, the salon owner and the salon assistant. It will become quickly apparent to you that one of the wives, Olivia, is the worst and most annoying and most unlikeable character of them all. Honestly, I can’t imagine how Jeneva came up with such a negative character and I’ll be sure to slide into her DMs and ask her just that! However the other characters aren’t a whole lot better although some women will also surprise you at certain turns!
My most favorite part of this book is that Jeneva teases us on the identity of who is dead as well as who did it till the end. But we’re peppered with the police investigation throughout, so as a reader, I was constantly playing detective and of course I was dead wrong (pun intended) on the reveals of the killer and the killed.
This is the perfect book if you want a thriller that reads like a binge reality TV show or if you’re into juicy, rich-people-problems drama! Highly recommend!!!
On a side note, this book is nothing like 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗜 𝗪𝗮𝘀, which is also a 5 star read! Honestly, Jeneva is an auto buy author at this point and I’ll even read if she writes a textbook on Malacology!!!

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! Such a good housewife villain story and I couldn't get enough!! I loved every minute of the drama. I enjoyed the multiple POVs and seeing the story evolve from different perspectives. It was such a blast to read and kept me engaged and coming back for more. I was truly sad when the story ended.
Thank you to Blackstone Publishing and Netgalley for providing me with the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

Holy drama! This gave me housewives vibes. Drama drama drama. These women were completely horrible. Nonstop drama. And Olivia.. my god. She was disturbing. Each one of these characters had a personality… some of them may have been a bit psychotic but i loved that they were individual and while it’s written in many different POV you can easily tell who is who. Especially Olivia… 😒
I really loved the snarkiness. Everyone is so downright bitchy, it’s awesome.
Throughout this book each women’s claws sink in further and further. They all basically hate each other. And it’s a freakin train wreck that you can’t turn away from. I loved that you don’t know who the killer is… let alone the victim! Makes it even more puzzling. The secrets, the lies, the deceit, the affairs…. It all builds and builds until everything is finally revealed and it was so wickedly satisfying. Loved it right down to the fantastic last line.

One of my favorite things about this author is that no two books of hers are ever the same. I really enjoyed the multiple POVs, and past/present storyline. This book was devious, deceptive, and delightful. Ending felt a bit rushed, especially with the slow burn suspense built in the first 200 pages. All in all, a winner!

This story was so uniquely written, told with alternative POV of the five main women who live in the community of Buckhead. These women are ruthless, petty, competitive, and have way too much time on their hands! Olivia is the worst, yet at times, I kinda liked her! Not sure what that says about me! Crystal is new to the area, as she just married Shannon’s ex husband. Karen is a successful realtor and Jenny owns a salon where all the women are members and come almost daily. All of the drama goes down in the salon, and even more when the men join in!! This was seriously just such a delight to read!! I read as part of a buddy read/book club and I cannot wait to talk about it!! I felt Big Little Lies vibes, where the outrageously wealthy women will go to any lengths to cover for one another, mixed with the drama and cattiness of Real housewives! I could not wait to get to the end to see who was dead!!
Did I just find another favorite author???? From The Girl I Was, to One Of Us is Dead, two uniquely different reads that I could not get through fast enough! And if you’re not following her on Instagram, you are missing out! She and her husband are hilarious!!

This Desperate Housewives-style thriller was so much fun, I loved the backstabbing nature of the characters and all the social intrigue, and I'm a sucker for any story with multiple POVs that allow you to see different sides of the narrative while still not giving the entire story away!

OMG how great. This Author can do no wrong. This book is beyond incredible and totally unputdownable! Just go in blind and you will read for hours. It's that great.
Thanks to Netgalley.

Every once in a while I really need some entertaining drama in my life, just not my own. I don’t really watch too many reality TV shows but have I watched The real Housewives? Yes! And am I currently addicted to Selling Sunset? Yes!!! So if you like those shows you will love One of Us is Dead. And if you’ve read her debut, The Perfect Marriage, you can expect the same witty banter, major LOL moments as well as plenty of WTF’s in an engaging and clever thriller.
Centred around a hair salon and told from multiple POV’s, we meet the most influential women of Buckhead. What do you do when you have too much money and are waiting for your next Botox injection? You drink champagne, gossip and back stab of course. Until someone winds up dead. These women were seriously cray and I loved it! This book was not only the perfect binge read, it cracked me up and was exactly what I needed.
4.5⭐️

Did anyone else ever go through a phase of watching soaps? One day you found yourself incredibly invested in Days of Our Lives and it wasn’t the best television programming you’ve ever seen, but you couldn’t get enough: the drama, the twists, the turns! That was this book for me.
It was gaudy, it was southern, it had villains, class lines, salon gossip, botox, passive aggressive remarks, and it wasn’t particularly deep but it sure was a guilty pleasure.
Take this book for what it is. It’s just a fun read. I had no idea who was going to end up dead (though I had opinions on who I wanted dead, lol) and at one point I thought I had the ending figured out but nope. And I always give kudos when a book can keep me in the dark because I’m decent at guessing the ending to mysteries.
This will make a super fun, easy, light summer read. An escape when you need a break and want to read the book version of reality TV show.
