Delightful adventure story that emphasizes the power of teamwork told through fun and spirited artwork and in an easy to read format- the language and word choice I found appropriate for the education/grade level advertised to and I enjoyed the activities at the end!

Perfect for reluctant readers as they not only get cool illustrations and a fun-filled adventure BUT the satisfaction of completing crosswords, word scrambles, seek and find and more!

A++

Ninja Kitties- strong AND cute!!

Seemingly gender-neutral tale of ninja kittens that take on new adventures in each new book. The illustrations are very colorful and full of action. The copy was quite dense for an early reader, but for an advance 1st- 2nd grader it might be good to get them ready for chapter books.

The activities at the end were a fun twist on reading. Code cracking, drawing, word searches and more! And… who doesn’t love stickers!!

Grateful to have received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley & Fox Chapel Publishing, Happy Fox Books

My daughter and I loved this awesome activity book for children. It is full of bright, colourful graphics, which are really beautiful. The writing is beside each set of graphics, laid out like a graphic novel. The story is funny and enjoyable, and my daughter really enjoyed it. The ninja kitties want to make a cake for the queen, but the fang gang have stolen all the eggs, so they have to work together to save the day. At the end of the book, there are activities and stickers, which all children will love. Highly recommended!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I mean this with full offense. All of these books are terrible. The illustrator is NOT getting paid enough because everything looks like terrible photoshop, and they keep reusing the model of the wolf. In Fried Eggs and the Red Gem (Drago Discovers the Importance of Teamwork), they keep reusing the egg drawing and flipping it upside down and pasting it weird places. What!  This is a book you give to a child so you can have twenty minutes to yourself (no judgment, I have done this and I would do it again. Sorry Peppa Pig). I was not impressed by the writing or the illustrations,  The best thing about these books is that the grandmother cat is autistic because she wears the autism symbol (a rainbow infinity sign) on her head (this is presumably unintentional but I like it). If this book was $1 at the dollar store it would be a good buy. Or if my child loved them, I would get them from the library. But I would not intentionally expose a child to these ninja kitties, in order to never have to look at them again. One star.

My 8 year old loved this book. It had a Fantastic assortment of art work and a humorous storyline. The balance of pictures to writing was enough to keep her interested and engaged. She loved reading about each character. As a parent I liked that the story had a good message about working together. I think the use of word searches and puzzles is a brilliant way to encourage learning and development whilst supporting reading.
All together I would recommend this book.
My daughter is looking forward to reading more from this author In the future.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Ninja Kitties Fried Eggs and the Red Gem Activity Storybook by Kayomi Harai is an absolutely adorable children's book and activity book. The book tells us about the exploits of a group of ninja kitties - adorable kitties that also have superpowers. According to the description, this book involves Prince Drago learning that "the Fang Gang was stolen Farmer Fluff’s eggs that Baker Baku needs to bake the Queen’s birthday cake, he decides to handle the problem himself without any help."

Overall, this book is a colorful and engaging children's picture book that also teaches children good lessons about teamwork and working together. One highlight of this book is the artwork. The ninja kitties are drawn in an adorable way, and the artwork is top-notch. Another highlight of this book is the activity pages in the back, which include word puzzles and mazes. If you're intrigued by the description, I highly recommend that you check out this book when it comes out in September!

Many thanks to Fox Chapel Publishing, Kayomi Harai & NetGalley for permission to view this arc. I’m leaving my review voluntarily.
This was the cutest activity storybook but it’s not set up in its proper order, so I wasn’t able to actually read the story. I know it was about the importance of teamwork from reading the little blurb but the pages were so jumbled, I can’t make heads or tails of the actual story.. There are cute word puzzles to complete after you’ve read the story & adorable stickers are also included in the back of the book. I would definitely recommend this book for children in kindergarten to approximately 2nd grade. I’m giving 3 stars to this Ninja Kitties Activity Storybook.

This was an extremely adorable book that would be absolutely amazing for children around kindergarten age. This book and the activities in it seem like a great way for children to learn about friendship and to keep them busy for a little while. Thank you, to NetGalley for a free e-book in exchange for an honest review.

This is my 3rd Kitlandia adventure & they are all so cute! Great lessons and activities for boys or girls.
In this particular adventure, Prince Drago finds that though he maybe able to do somethings on his own, life is better with your best mates. Rob Hudnut and Kayomi Harai have done a great job with this series. I'm so thankful Happy Fox Books allowed me a sneak peak into the Kitlandia world.

This is an engaging selection for children that will have them flying through the activities. A wonderful concept. Ninja kitties. The activities compliment the stories quite well.

I read this album on a tablet: and clearly it was never designed for digital reading. The whole booklet is composed to be handled in paper, there are even stickers at the end. So I'm not sure that the opinion I'm going to deliver reflects the proposal. It's really a pity that the last pages are not adapted to be played directly in digital, as well as the story part would have benefited from an interactive treatment: animations, sounds... all that would have made the proposal readable in digital!

The booklet would probably be welcome for a car ride or a rainy afternoon for very young children, it is colorful, simple and full of funny actions. The design is cute, the ninja cats are adorable. The whole is a bit simplistic, but the moral of Strength in Unity is common and positive.
All in all, it's probably a relevant proposal on its original format!

I review children's books from the lense of what would I choose for storytime?
I would not recommend this for that purpose as it's word dense and the pictures are kind of busy.
I might buy this for my kindergarten age kid though because she loves cats, ninjas and the activities would be right up her alley
