This book took on a whole new light after having lived through the covid pandemic. The author really showcased the true emotion and the panic that people feel. This book was a brilliant read and i highly recomend it

This was way too long for my short attention span, and I regret requesting it solely because of that.

Thank you so much for the advanced copy, I liked the book. I'm critical of YA novels since there's so many dystopian/romance books in that category but this one was great. Did not feel too cliché and kept me hanging, sometimes felt too long but otherwise a great read!

I love how so many things happened in the book. I could not keep myself from the book because it was so good

Unfortunately, I did not finish this book, The timing and the subject related too closely to the current pandemic and it was hard to continue reading. Although I didn’t finish this book, I felt that what I did read was very well written. I can’t finish it at this time, but I hope in the future I will be able to since I’ve heard so many great things and did enjoy what I was able to read.

Who knew that post-apocalyptic stories could be romantic as well? Really enjoyed this as I am big fan of the genre. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

A gripping and timely read about the aftermath following a plague and the survivors left behind. This was rather timely in the midst of COVID and executed in a clever way. From the beginning to the end it was a journey that I enjoyed. A gripping tale of a world devastated by a viral plague and subsequently aids in the breakdown of civilization, brought alive with vivid descriptions and characters. It's tough to read at times, only because it packs such an emotional punch, especially given current events, but the heart-wrenching portions are balanced out by hope, tenacity, humor, and some steam of a slow-burn variety. I loved the chemistry between the characters. Emotionally it’s a bit of a roller coaster but it’s balanced out and definitely one I would recommend if you're looking for a post-apocalyptic story!
Also, I love how all three volumes are in one here, makes it easy for a binge read!

I was super excited for this one. I love dystopian books and this one seemed something that I would enjoy and it was all three books so I only had to wait for book four. Sadly, though this one didn't up as good as I thought. I made it through the first book in this collection of books 1-3. It was ok at best but pretty slow. I wished that there would have been another aspect to this one other than this virus. It kind of reminded me of the Stand by Steven King but a lighter version without all the religious overtones. Which was fine but I just needed more.

Thank you to the publishers, author and NetGalley for the free copy of this audio book.
I really enjoyed this one. Fast paced, likeable characters. Very well written overall. I need to get my hands on the next one to know what happens!

Following the story of Frankie and York, in this post-apocalyptic era, it is entertaining, full of surprises, and intrigue, I liked it a lot, it is a novel that hooks quickly, it is easy to read if you like these types of books, its characters are Well developed, they will love you, I assure you, give this series a chance, I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, I just couldn't get into this book. It could be me, but the post-apocolyptic genre just doesn't do it for me. That is my fault though, not the author. The writing style flows and reads easily but unfortunately, it didn't keep me engaged.

At first, I was questioning why on earth I'd requested this. It felt a bit too close to home reading about a virus ripping its way through the world but that part was over quickly and it became a real gem of a dystopian story with far more romance than I was expecting.
Believable characters (even if a little cliched at times) and some rather steamy scenes made for a good read and I'm already casting the film in my head... Alan Ritchson (Reacher) as Yorke and Shailene Woodley as Frankie, if you're interested.
I really enjoyed this book and was very grateful that it included parts 1 - 3, I didn't realise that the story continues so now I'm on the hunt for part 4.

The year is 2038 and the world is recently recovering from WW3 with Russia. The flu mutates in Australia and from there breaks out all over the world killing 90% of the population. Really good character development. I like the back and forth style of writing between the characters. I love Imogen Keeper’s writing and am definitely along for the ride!

Very, very good !!!! Dark and gritty I couldn't put it down until I finished it and didn't regret a nights lost sleep one bit!!

This hits so close to home with the current covid stuff going on. Shows you how quickly the world could go dark. This was triggering for anyone who is already nervous or scared of dystopian stories or COVID. I loved the 2 main characters.

After The Plague by Imogen Keeper is a post apocalyptic suspense novel. This story was extremely triggering for me after the last few years of dealing with Covid. Much of the book focuses on a strain of flu that kills 80% of the 80% of the population that is infected and the complications of such a vastly fatal disease. Frankie and Yorke, the main characters find each other, along with a few survivors, as they try to work their way out of the city and away from an increasing threat. There's a bit of found family and a smattering of romance but overall it's a dystopian story that hits a little to close to home.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This series gives us a dark look into just how bad a pandemic could get. The characters are so relatable, especially Frankie. And Yorke is so 🔥🔥🔥 while also being really sweet and compassionate. Imogen Keeper is so good at making you empathise with the characters and then punching you in the feels.
Angst, suspense, tension, sexual chemistry...this collection has it all.

I enjoyed this book. However, I would definitely list it with trigger warnings, post-COVID. (Joking, but not really)
This was such an interesting concept to put into a novel and I felt like the relationships between the characters and their intimacy were real, raw, and believable. This was not a fairy tale and I honestly really appreciated that the author didn't try to sugar coat a lot of hard topics. I also really liked the differing viewpoints. I love knowing what the other characters are thinking!

After the Plague by Imogen Keeper follows the story of two people who did not get the plague that wiped out almost everyone on earth. This follows their emotional and physical trials. Life in a post apocalyptic world is not all sunshine and rainbows, there are those who want to control everyone, those who are now able to live lawlessly, and then there are those who just want to live and try to make things as normal as possible.
There is a bit of romance in this book, I was not expecting it, I had heard about it being a dystopian novel and I was sold there. Romance is not my style of book, so I was slightly taken aback when it came up. I’m sure those that like romance would enjoy this part put into a dystopian novel. Though it’s not my thing, and I would have preferred it not be in the story, it was still a good story and I find myself wanting to know what happens next.

This was a hard book for me to read right now due to the subject matter. I am finding the characters compelling but the threat level and general anti-social and violent behavior of the "villains" is tough to take considering the lack of consensus and cooperative behavior in our world in 2022. The writing is strong and I do love the characters but halfway through I'm going to have to put it down for a little while until the world calms down.
