WOWZA!! This is really a good psychological thriller! The absolutely amazing thing is, it's a debut. If this how the author starts off her writing career, then count me in as a fan! It is full of juicy plot twists. The dialogue between the characters is totally believable and the ending is dynamic! Once I started reading, I could not put it down.

Vince and Nicole have it all. A happy marriage, wealth, and a beautiful home, Vince is CEO of his own successful company. He is known as a all around good guy until his intern Layla Bosch is murdered and Vince is suspected of the crime.

I can't recommend this book enough! I will have my eye out for Stephanie DeCarolis next book!

Great Job Stephanie DeCarolis!

This was a well-written domestic thriller. It kept me interested despite having figured out the ending early on--there were still so many smaller bits and pieces of the story I wanted to know more about. Well developed characters and a good setting.

The pacing of this book was SPOT ON and fit just perfectly with the thriller genre it's meant to be. Pacing can really make or break a book and The Guilty Husband is a great example of how a story that is structured appropriately can really keep the reader hooked for hours on end, which is exactly what happened to me. The imagery and attention to detail was elaborate without over-doing it, which left a perfect canvas to set the scene but also let my imagination fill in the rest. A great read!

Thanks Harper 360 for the advanced egalley!

Thank you NetGalley for providing this book for an honest review. Vince Taylor started off as the geeky nerd and then turned tech genius with the perfect life. Everything was going well for Vince until the intern that he has an affair with turns up dead. The book is filled with lies and deceit. There are many times you will be questioning each of the characters and wonder who is telling the truth. This book did not disappoint and it was definitely a great read.

A husband guilty of an affair with an employee at his company tries to win back the love of his exquisite wife after the news is out that he is a suspect in the murder of the employee. Several suspects come to mind, and I only guessed the culprit near the end of the book.

The husband is sympathetic in a way, to a certain extent, but so overly concentrated on his wife's reactions, that you wonder why.

An enjoyable thriller, nonetheless, with some slight humor thrown in.

DELICIOUSLY DESCRIPTIVE with DECEIVING CHARACTERS-this is DEFINITELY a “one more chapter” kind of book, with short chapters making for a quick pace!

Vince Taylor IS guilty of infidelity.
He will tell you that himself in Chapter One.

But, IS the CEO of the popular Technology company, Kitztech, ALSO guilty of murdering Layla Bosch, the young intern he was having an affair with? That is the crux of this story-and it’s a good one!!

Who will solve this mystery first?

Will it be Detectives Allison Barnes and her partner, Jake Lanner? Perhaps it will be Mullins, the retired NYPD detective, hired by Vince. Or maybe-it will be you??

Will Vince’s own APPS-Friend Connect, Date Space, or Secret Message end up incriminating him? Or will the articles printed by Kate Owens for World View, be his downfall? Or with either be his salvation?

Told over the course of the 14 day investigation, by alternating POV’s, I couldn’t put this one down!

I had a hunch about where this would lead, and enjoyed reading way past my bedtime, to find out if my sneaky suspicion would pan out. Ultimately it did, but that in no way impeded my enjoyment of this murder-mystery, by DEBUT author, Stephanie DeCarolis.

I’m off to find her Sophomore novel, now!!

Thank You to HQ digital for the gifted copy ! It was my pleasure to offer a candid review!

I love a good domestic thriller and this one fit the bill of everything I love. It’s not filled with totally unrealistic scenarios that make your eye roll. I thought it was fast paced and well written. I loved the multiple POV’s and when another one is introduced towards the end, I knew I was in for an even wilder ride! I highly recommend this one and look forward to reading more from this author.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for my e-copy.

Vince Taylor a tech genius has the perfect life. A sprawling mansion away from the city, a beautiful wife and all the money in the world. Until he has an affair with one of his interns, Layla and she is murdered. The lies and deceit and the truth.

These are my favorite type of thrillers, the twists and keep you guessing moments and this book did not disappoint! Told between Vince, the detective investigating the murder and little bits of Layla. Beautifully written!!!

Thank you to #NetGalley, #HQStories, and author #StephanieDeCarolis for the ARC of #TheGuiltyHusband.

I was hooked from the first page! It took me just a little over 24 hours to finish this one and with good reason. The story never gets old. Man takes a wife, they fall into a stale routine, husband takes a mistress, then someone gets murdered.

Vince and Nicole are happily married, or so it seemed, but if that's true, then who is Layla?
The solution for a problem as big as Vince and Nicole's may not exist. Have they gone too far?

It would seem that's the case when Vince is accused in the media and ends up arrested. He no longer knows who to trust. He's not even sure he can trust his childhood best friend, not to mention he is also Vince's attorney.

The twisty, wriggling turns this story gave me, page after page, was the absolute best way to spend a lazy day at the beach. I can't wait to recommend this one.

As always the opinions above are mine and mine alone. When you decide YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK, it will be available from your favorite retailer on 3/19/21.

This was a pretty good read.
I thought the characters were developed appropriately, and even though I guessed who the murderer was pretty early on, I was curious as to how.
Overall, a pretty easy read and entertaining.

Moral of the story, don't cheat.

Thank you Netgalley and Harper 360, HQ Digital for the arc of this book. Sadly, it wasn't the book for me. While the story was great, I figured out who the culprit was pretty early. I never connected with, or even liked any of the characters. I won't rule out another book from this author though because the story was so good and there were so realistic red herrings!

Vince Taylor has the prefect life. He is the CEO of a popular tech firm based in New York City, he has an amazing wife he is madly in love with, and a beautiful home. He and his wife have built the perfect life together.

It’s not until the gorgeous Layla, an intern at Vince’s company turns up dead, that the pieces of Vince’s life start crashing down around him. Vince was having a hot and steamy affair with the brown haired beauty and was presumably the last person to have seen her before her death.

Everyone has secrets and the characters in this book are no exception. How far would you go to keep the truth from being revealed?

I love domestic thrillers and this one didn’t disappoint. Although I was able to figure out the major plot twist, it did not take away from my enjoyment of the book.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this arc.

A CEO husband who seems to Have the perfect life is now being accused of murder - of his mistress who happens to have been an intern at his company. but does anyone truly know this intern? Or does anyone truly know anyone? Definitely a page turner that had me guessing until the end. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Guilty Husband; I could not put it down (easily, a read-in-one-sitting thriller). There were plenty of twists, and the multiple POVs and non-linear timeline kept me guessing from beginning to end. From the start, the reader is aware of the affair between Vince and Layla, knowing Vince has been lying to Nicole and the police. As Vince's version of events do not line up with what the detectives find/Layla's version, the reader is left not knowing who or what to believe. I would highly recommend The Guilty Husband to anyone looking for a gripping mystery/thriller.

Guilty! That is what the detectives thought as soon as they got details of an affair between Vince, CEO of a prestigious firm, and Layla, the new intern. Not only had Vince started an affair with this beautiful intern, but now she is dead and all fingers point to Vince.
Nicole and Vince lived the dream, he, the head of his own company and Nicole his beautiful wife, living in a mansion. So what makes Vince stray away?
This thriller lives up to its name. Very enjoyable read to the last page.
Thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.

When an intern at Vince Taylor’s tech company is found murdered, he tries to hide their secret relationship. But swiftly he becomes a suspect as his affair with her unfolds in the tabloids.

Vince and his wife, Nicole, have the perfect marriage; one so perfect it is shocking to outsiders that he had an affair-but is it?

As the investigation continues, the main detective on the case can’t quite shake the feeling that he’s the one responsible. Although, as more of the truth comes out, it becomes quite clear that Vince will stop at nothing to protect himself & the things he loves.

A gripping whodunit novel that keeps you guessing. I was certain within the first 50 pages how it would go, and I was right, but I caught myself questioning it throughout the entire novel because of how it is set up. A good psychological twist novel. I liked the inclusion of the police POV, made it feel like I was watching one of the criminal shows I love so much. The main characters were likable enough to want to keep reading and figure out what the truth was. The author did a great job of making it look like the bad guy could be few different people, keeps you guessing.

I was gripped from the beginning and the chapters flew by with the back and forth of the POVs. My biggest issue is with the ending. It didn't feel complete, or even near complete. Once the "truth" comes out, things shift but then never settle. I enjoyed the flash forward chapter, but it really didn't add anything in the end. It wrapped up quickly and then ended with a big open end. If it's being set up to have a sequel, then I think that is perfect. But if it is meant to be standalone then I have a pretty big issue with the ending. This would make for a great police murder mystery series.

If you're a seasoned psychological thriller/mystery reader, then I think you'll find this rather predictable. Still, it's a great story that I enjoyed reading and would recommend to others who enjoy this genre.
