“The Guilty Husband” written by Stephanie DeCarolis is a very well written psychological thriller. Vince and Nicole seem to have the perfect marriage, but when one of the interns at Vince’s company ends up dead, disastrous secrets come out. This novel has many POVs, including the detective on the case, with a nonlinear timeline giving us glimpses of before and after the tragic event. Thank you so much NetGalley and publisher for the ARC! I thoroughly enjoyed this thriller.

I was shocked to see that this was Stephanie's debut novel. The mutiple POV and non-linear timeline weaved such a great story that kept me guessing through all of the book's twists. Each time I thought I had this figured out I was surprised and that always makes for a great book. I read this quickly as I didn't want to put it down! The characters and story lines were well developed and I would easily give this 4 stars. Thanks to Netgalley for my ARC.

I have been on Thriller/Mystery kick, which means I've been binge watching Castle and Bones for about a week and a half.
Anyways this book read like a episode of Castle, I could picture the character's i could see the story unfold. This is probably one of my favorite Thriller/Mystery novels of 2021.

I will be honest i saw who the 'killer' was about halfway through the book, but it didn't take away from the story, the ending though i didn't see coming at all.
I will definitely be reading more from this Author.

I was lucky to receive an advance copy of this from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review and opinion. This is the second book I've read by this author and she is FANTASTIC! The suspense is amazing and you will not be able to figure it out until the very end of the book. She grabs you from the first page and will keep you guessing until the very end. I can't wait to read more books by her!

The Guilty Husband
by Stephanie DeCarolis

The book was ok. It seemed I had read the book before. I did not find anyone likeable. The book was a POV. Just did not work for me. As I said, it did seem like another book I read. Anyway, I did finish and wish there was more of a storyline other than all the POV.

Thank you #Netgalley for the advanced copy!

I thought I had it predicted early on, but boy was I wrong! This one keeps you on your toes up until the very end. We follow Vince Taylor, an attractive, tech mogul working in the City of New York. He has a beautiful wife, a yoga instructor, who desperately wants children, though after many IVF treatments, it hasn't been in the cards for them. Unfortunately, Vince gets a little too close to one of their tech interns over the summer who rocks his world, especially when she turns up dead. We follow Allison, the detective, Vince and Layla, the intern. Each has their own secrets that all come together at the very end. Great plot twists!

I saw a lot of good reviews with this book so I was really excited. I was initially intrigued but eventually found the characters shallow and stereotypical. Story jumps around timeline and POV too which took me out of the story.

The Guilty Husband by Stephanie DeCarolis is a faced paced thriller that has you racing through to find out what happens. One minute you thank you know who is guilty and then next its someone else. Thank you to Stephanie and the publisher for the advised copy.

I really enjoyed The Guilty Husband and couldn’t wait to pick up where I left off - always the sign of a great psychological thriller. This time, we mainly read from the perspective of the guilty husband himself, Vince. A man with everything (except for a child his wife Nicole is desperately trying to conceive ), Vince begins an affair with Layla, a beautiful young intern at his company. When Layla is found murdered, all signs point to. Vince - . a husband certainly guilty of an affair but is he really capable to be guilty of murder? The court of public opinion including the press, his colleagues, possibly his wife and especially the detectives pressured to solve the case. All but convict him. Told in my favorite now and before chapter style, I was intrigued the whole way through and even felt sympathetic for a cheating husband which can only be attributed to great writing, I can’t wait for the next book by this debut author.

bsolutely DEVOURED this book! It is so well-written and has all of my favorite things! Jaw-dropping WTF moments, multiple first person POV, nonlinear timeline, likable characters (and some hatable), and everyone is a suspect! I especially liked Allison, the police detective. She’s written like she’s a regular character instead of just a cop like I see so often. I actually really enjoyed reading her chapters rather than skimming them to get to the other ones. I really loved how the truth was unraveled a bit at a time rather than dumped all at once at the very end. The Guilty Husband is definitely a book I’ll be recommending for a long time! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Vince lies, Nicole feels her world falling apart, Layla is murdered - - - who murdered her? Can Vince and Nicole save their marriage?

Vince Taylor has reinvented himself since his days as a computer nerd. No more eyeglasses, dressed by a stylist, trendy hairstyle, now he could be a model. Instead, he’s the millionaire CEO of a successful startup tech company, has a gorgeous house in Connecticut and an apartment in New York City. And his beautiful wife Nicole has stuck with him since the very beginning. He thinks they’ll be together forever…until Layla.

Vince realizes that Nicole is about to learn about his affair with Layla when the intern’s body is found in Central Park. His first mistake is lying to the police when they first come to his office. His second is falsifying an alibi. There are more. Nicole is, of course, devastated. And Vince is slowly realizing just how dangerous his office affair really was.

What a complicated, unputdownable read! Full of twists you will not see coming, this is no ordinary thriller! The mystery is narrated by Vince, Nicole, Layla and investigator Alison and spans both before and after the murder. Stephanie DeCarolis is an author to watch. 5 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley, Harper 360 and Stephanie DeCarolis for this ARC.

WOW this book had me captivated from the jump. I was immediately sucked into the dramatic love triangle of the gorgeous, sympathetic wife, a cheating media mogul husband, and the cliche hot intern. Told through multiple POVs, I was constantly trying to piece the puzzle together until the very end.

High-tension, high drama, compelling read start to finish! Loved it and can't wait for more from this author!

Great book! This book was a little different than the normal mystery thriller, there wasn't too much suspense but the storyline was so very interesting! There was definitely a big who done it! I usually can guess who it was but I was really shocked at this one! I didn't figure it out till close to the time it was discovered! What a twist in the story! It was a great twist at that! I highly recommend reading this book! It was such a different book! I really enjoyed reading this one!
