great story of spending one day in paris . I loved that they eat food and got to know one another. I loved that they sizzled and talked alot during the time. I liked that they really didn't like another but slowly grew to romance . I liked that they found things to talk about.

I loved this book!

Thank you, NetGalley and Wattpad Books, for an early copy! I thoroughly enjoyed this RomCom set within a day in Paris.

Mira is incredible - a foodie, bucket list-kind of a travel planner, & a walking Google Map/Wikipedia of Paris. She is weird and only now learning to appreciate and enjoy her own quirks. I respect that she is in her 30s and is still figuring out what makes her happy. Because that does happen, not everyone has their entire life mapped out at 25!

It's rare for me to completely appreciate the smoldering 'cocky' guy in RomComs because there is usually one or two unflattering aspects. But not Jake; he is a jock with a good heart, flawed, and has insecurities (human, duh!). The creative choice to narrate some portions of the story from the guy's pov definitely helped his character.

The romance was good, and the chemistry apparent. Thank s to the author for not being over the top cheesy. It was mature and enjoyable (lately, I have a newfound dislike for YA romance!). The author's original Wattpad version was with Jake & Mira being a couple of college students on a trip to Paris. Now, for the book's publication in May 2022, she has rewritten it as an adult romance. I am happy this is the version I got to read!

Lastly Paris… My God, it's the 3rd protagonist of the story! It's apparent how much the author loves this city! This book is a tourism guide to Paris with a detailed layout of what to eat, where to visit, and how to travel. I took stock of Mira's itinerary for my future Paris travel!

Mira is in Paris on a business trip. It should be a wonderful trip with lots of food and wine, but Mira is trying to get over the fact she broke off her engagement. On her way home, she misses her flights along with her coworker, Jake. He’s annoying, a flirt, and stuck with her for the next 24 hours. Anything could happen.

24 Hours in Paris was a cute romance. I admired Mira’s tenacity in taking chances and trying to make the right decisions for her life, despite what challenges may have come her way. I enjoyed the details of tourist attractions and the incredible food Paris offers. It gives me wanderlust vibes! Unfortunately, I found that the story really dragged about 50 percent of the way through, and I struggled to finish it. I love romance, but this was one I just could not get into and I didn’t find the characters had enough chemistry. It would have been nice to get more angst or even flashbacks of Mira and Jake at work where we could have established more of an enemies-to-lovers background, considering Mira found Jake to be irritating. This book seems to fall within the stuck together trope, and it was just not very memorable to me.

Thank you to Net Galley and Wattpad Books for the ARC!

24 Hours in Paris by Romi Moondi was a quirky but swoon worthy read. Mira calls off her engagement and heads to Paris on a work trip where everything is paid for by the company. Through all the wining and dining, Mira realizes she has royally messed up her perfect life which is something she doesn't normally do. This was a fun rom-com. While predictable, it sucks the reader in and you keep wanting to know more.

Mira is a mood. Her snark hit so good! She’s on a business trip in Paris- a city she has basically had dream-board for for years- and yet she’s stuck going to tourist trap restaurants with her awful co-workers. So yeah, she’s salty. And not to mention she’s avoiding an arranged marriage as well. After a series of annoyances (I personally have been stuck in both Paris and in Italy due to strikes and/or broken trains, so I really felt for our heroine) she’s stuck in Paris for an additional 24 hours, on a super tight budget annnnnddddd stuck with her office nemesis, Jake. Mira is on a mission to strike out her Paris bucket list. I feel this deeply girl. I too am a compulsive planner/dreamer. She not only will have a place in mind, she knows the history of said place, as well as trivial information. Hi, it’s me. Mira would be my dream travel companion. And if I’m honest- we aren’t many peoples dream travel companions. But what a dream Jake is to so cooly and easily go along and LISTEN to Mira’s chatter. It’s subtle, but Jake is dreamy little by little. I mean, he’s charming about her sniffing old books in a Parisian bookshop for goodness sake! *le sigh*

This sweet little book really exceeded my expectations! It was really relatable with all the right cheesy romance you want in a rom-com. And I was happy to see a little author’s note mentioning how Mira and Jake’s story isn’t over yet….

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my unbiased opinion!

I’m sure there will be fans of this book, but it wasn’t for me. There wasn’t anything gripping or new at the beginning and it was hard to get through.

After calling off her engagement, Mira escapes on an all-expense paid business trip to Paris. Despite the delicious food and flowing wine, she can’t forget the ache of leaving her fiancé behind or the fact that she’s just blown up her personal life. And messing up simply isn’t Mira.

Talk about swoon-worthy! I enjoyed the story and looked forward to what came next. Yes, predictable can be fun and exciting as well. Don't put this book down.

I love a getaway romance, and this one reminded me so much of why I do. The escapism was perfect, and I think we all could use some more of it in our lives.

This book is adorable! It is fast paced so I did not want to put it down. I loved this book. It dives into another world that you get lost in.

Loved the way this book covered so much in a sort of fast paced way. It didn’t feel like it was dragging on at any point and kept me interested with their love story and their plans for the rest of the day. I loved both of their personalities. How it went from ‘opposites attract’ to ‘maybe we’re not that different after all.’ Enemies to lovers was a brief trope, so brief I would not truthfully consider it that, but I wouldn’t really say that it was strangers to lovers either. There were multiple tropes that this book delved into, just enough that you should want to pick it up!

Thank you go net galley and Wattpad Books for this ARC!

24 Hours in Paris was a cute read! The two main characters, Jake and Mira, are stuck in Paris together after missing their flight home from a business trip. Mira has a whole bucket list of sights to see and Jake ends up along for the ride.

I did not like Mira at first because she is very negative and rigid, but those do become endearing qualities by the end. Jake is adorable, end of story. They do have good chemistry together too. I also liked the side characters, especially Eloise and Alexandre with their scheming to help get Mira and Jake together.

The plot was sweet, but the idea of going to 24 hours worth of sight, bars, and parties without sleep made me tired. The ending was sweet, but left me wanting more. Hopefully there is more to Jake and Mira's story in another book down the line.

**Received this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review!

I found the synopsis intriguing, and loved the concept! The title and the book cover are both very eye-catching which is why requested to read this book!

I enjoyed the MC and resonated with her in the beginning, but as the story went on, I feel like it fell a bit flat. No everyday-regular-life conflicts, things that keep me intrigued in a book. I would've liked this more if it was less predictable.

I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of great character development. I like that it gave names of the cafes and places they stopped during the 24 hours in Paris.

This book was a perfect (I mean PERFECT) romance. When Mira misses her flight home from Paris, she and her colleague are left with 24 hours before their next flight. Before this day, they didn’t know each other…but they go on to have an adventure neither of them will forget. Slow burn, witty dialogue, hilarious moments mixed with real ones, and the characters even dealt with their inner demons…I cannot wait for the sequel.

Murder on the menu
This cozy mystery was a good read for me. Perhaps not a great one—but an enjoyable one. It definitely took a little while to get into, and I felt like it took me longer to get through than most cozy mysteries usually do.

I loved the concept of policewoman-turned-chef to follow her passions, and was excited to see where that storyline led. What I didn’t expect was that cooking would become such a fractional part of the story as Nosey turned toward investigating, that there would be so little info or background on her love of cooking, or whether she even left the police force of her own will. (Read and judge for yourself!)

DCI Withers was difficult to figure out—and even up until the end I couldn’t tell if he was being insufferable because he found her annoying, or petulant, or the story was building to a slow burn. I was disappointed in this story arc’s ending…as well as the storyline with Tony’s ending. But I’ll read the second book in this series to see if they go further with either of them as the series continues.

I really liked the complex mystery written into this book. Yes, there was some shoddy investigating (not all of it!), but there were a handful of twists I didn’t see coming! While this story wrapped up at the end of the book, there are many loose ends hanging around. I hope they get tied up in the next book!! I would say this was a 3-star read for me…but the loose ends and the writing was enough to hook me for the rest of the series, which I look forward to reading.

24 Hours in Paris
Romi Moondi

This story will probably be enjoyed by many others. The writing was great which had me flipping the pages. The characters I just couldn't connect with. The atmosphere of the novel was good. It was fun to read, but it's not one that's going to stick to me. This book was light, fun, and exciting. But at the same time, it lacked in some areas.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I tried very hard to connect with Mira and her journey, but I just couldn't find myself engaging with her as our female MC. It's her first time in Paris and everything seems like an easy breezy ride for her. It would've been nice for Moondi to explore various struggles she may encounter, such as different language, diverse culture etc. This would've added more to the otherwise simple and straight forward story and allowed the reader to explore various facets of Mira's personality.

The romance was something I was looking forward to and given Paris is the city of love, it felt like the MC's love story was taking place in an unconvincing manner. It is possible that I went into the story with much higher expectations than what the book ended up giving me.

Shortly after calling off her engagement, Mira Attwal escapes on an all-expense-paid business trip to Paris. But even the delicious food and flowing wine can’t make her forget her parents' disappointment at leaving her fiancé or the fact that she’s just blown up her personal life.
