Great book to read to children for Valentines Day. I really like the authors reference to plants and love growing. I really think it will relate to children in a way they can understand. The illustrations are ragged but fit with the book and the words. The book is very sing song (not in a negative way). It tells of different kinds of love even in the hardest times to have it. I think this is a good beginner reader book due to the repeating.

The text is unspecific about love, and caring, and sharing - the real charm here is in the illustrations. The pictures tell a bigger story, following a little girl through her days helping her family grow plants to sell at a farmer's market and all the people of the neighborhood that she interacts with along the way. It shows all kinds of love - among friends, family, acquaintances = relationships of all kinds, plus love of plants and music and hobbies, and how people care about others by sharing these different kinds of love.

Love Grows Everywhere is a wonderful children's picture book. As the title suggests, it shows the many places love can be found and different types of love, from familial to romantic to platonic. The illustrations are colorful and warm. I loved the focus on a variety of types of love and how it can even be reflected in small gestures and time spent together.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC. All thoughts are my own.

Students liked that it taught ways to be nice. The characters represented real people. The illustrations were beautiful. Some of the students didn't like the style of the illustrations, though. Students felt like the book was fine. They liked it but it wasn't super exciting; it was just ok.

Thanks to netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A lovely exploration of what love is and means told with a great metaphor of plants to illustrate how we cultivate love in our relationships and the ways that we can share it. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and add a character to the story the makes it really come alive. This will be a perfect book to recommend for Valentine’s Day and throughout the year to celebrate love in all its forms.

It's a cute book with a beautiful underlying message. I love the story, it is very positive. The pictures are nice but I am more a fan of detailed drawings, but that is of course a very personal preference. I recommend this book for every parent or school!

A nice book about love. How love can be found anywhere and everywhere without conditions, boundaries and color of the skin.

I liked the illustrations very much. Simple and lovely.

This is such a cute little read! As a teacher, I can’t wait to share this with my fourth graders. It is a different way to discuss love and kindness with Valentine’s Day coming up. It talks about how love grows, where it grows, and ways you can make love grow. I plan to have students brainstorm additional ways love grows and a way someone has done something for them to help their love grow!

Love Grows Everywhere is a sweet rhyming story about how love can be found everywhere. I love the metaphor of love growing like a seed and how the author included plants in the illustrations throughout the story. This book features a diverse cast of characters throughout the community. Although the story is seasonally appropriate for Valentine's Day, there is no mention or focus on that holiday so it's fitting for any time of year. I love the illustrations in this book...between the diversity representation and the lush greenery, this is a book that I would read over and over again just to enjoy those aspects.

The main thing that I disliked about this book (and the reason that I rated it 4/5) is that some of the text doesn't track across the page naturally. For example, one page spread had text at the top of the page, in the middle, and at the bottom of the next page. This may not have been a problem, but the words in the middle didn't stand out to me and I skipped over them on my initial read. Otherwise, I thought this was a great picture book.

I would recommend this book to preschool and up. It would be a fun addition to public, school, and home libraries. I look forward to reading other books by this author!

OMG! This book was so amazing and adorable 😍

Loves grows every where from the villages to the cities. Love needs out thought and care. Love will find the way to brighten the world. Love comes in many different kind.

Read aloud with your kids to show them what is love of meaning for.

I think this author-illustrator duo is really strong together and their books do a great job of showcasing different kinds of love and its role in our everyday lives. Plants are a good metaphor and visual representation for love but the concept of tending to plants as a metaphor for relationships might need some explaining to really young readers The illustrations are a lot of fun with lots of details to find. I do find the rhyming schemes to be a bit uneven in their rhythm, but not so much that I didn't enjoy reading the books.

The term “love will make a brighter world” perfectly expresses this book after finishing it. The pictures in it were so fun and creative, I could definitely see a child absolutely enjoying this book and learning a lot from it.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with access to read this book!

Right off the bat, I really like the illustrative style of Love Grows Everywhere.
I also loved the easy-flowing rhyme (this is a feat to achieve!) and the heartwarming list of things that fall under the contours of love. I loved it a lot, it warmed by heart, was a diverse book, and very thoughtful!

My favorite part? "There's love so great it fills the room, and love that takes its time to bloom" Love does come in every shape and form.

A cute story about love being something we all need and cherish! Love starts out small but grows and pops up everywhere of we look and notice it! Loved this little book and think it will make a great addition to the rotation of books you read to your littles! Fun, colorful illustrations!

Love Grows Everywhere is a must read! This story tells how love is all around. The illustrations are detailed and add to the charming story. Readers will be able to notice how plants grow throughout the story just like love grows. Children will be able to learn why love is all around and how to be kind and care for others. This title will be added to my classroom library!
