This book was a sweet reminder of the never ending connection of love, the ways it is created and the people who share their love no matter where they are. This sweet and playful text, paired masterfully with engaging illustrations, defines love in its purest form. Can't recommend it enough!

A gorgeously colourful and heartfelt picture-book. A must-read for families celebrating love. This title would make an excellent birthday present, valentines day celebration, or mothers/fathers day gift. No child's bookshelf is complete without this joyous title, packed full of feel-good messages and representation.

Cute poetry style picture book on love

This book was different than I expected. It is more of a poem with pictures than a story itself. I enjoyed the illustrations with plants as an metaphor for love. I don't find this particularly suited for children though, I'm not sure how much that is understood. The book doesn't contain a definition of love, and though one might think this isn't necessary, I feel like some readers might interpret the story to be mostly about plants. Or maybe that's just me.

This book is so cute! I love the art, the depth of the story, and all the ideas of ways to communicate love. My family loves plants, and I think this will be a favorite to read with our kids.

A beautiful rhyming book with just the right amount of text to convey the message loud and clear, and lots of beautiful, colorful, diverse images. Loved the short and sweet message of the book, about being kind, loving, and spreading love.

I loved this to BITSS!! A wonderful narrative about how simple and rewarding it is to spread kindness, love and care. The illustrations were unique, beautiful and so rich in color. The idea that we're seeing everything as a metaphor of plant-care is justly poetic and proves how important it is to nurture ourselves as we do our surroundings.

Such a sweet, sweet read. Barry Timm’s gently flowing lyrical text easily draws parallels between love and nature; between growing plants and relationships; and is such a delight to read over and over again. Tisha Lee’s accompany illustrations are the perfect complement to this heartwarming read adding to the narrative effortlessly. The book celebrates love in all its forms; in families and communities; between friends, couples, parents and children, siblings, and more.

So check out this book today and be ready to be happier than before (even if you were already) as you reach the end. And did I already mention that the book is perfect to read out loud? I did not?! Well, the rhymes are so sing-songy that you should read it aloud.

Sweet rhyming text, and lovely illustrations combine to beautifully document the transformative power of L-O-V-E. This wonderful book would make a terrific gift for readers of all ages, and belongs on every library's shelves.

This is sweet. The illustrations are well done but not my favorite style. Still, I'm sure kids would enjoy the colors and the pictures. The idea that love makes the world better is true. Without a definition of love though, this rings hollow I'm afraid.

Love Grows Everywhere is a wonderful book that shows that love can grow everywhere. It tells it through a family that grows plants and sells them at a market. I love that the book is in a city and shows a diverse community. A great message with wonderful illustrations!!

Very sweet picture book about all kinds of love. Fun illustrations and simple wording make this great for reading aloud or for older kids to read themselves.

The illustrations are that kind of busy that have you finding something new each time you go through the book. The text layout makes it easy for solo little readers to skip over parts of the text, so might be better as a read aloud book for the little ones.

Besides the simple reiteration of the title, what I love the most about this is that it shows People of Color as people who are sharing love. As a Hispanic/Latine librarian, I would have cried to have seen books like this as a kid. This is going to be great for storytimes with its short poetic prose, and direct messaging. My only gripe is that the author is White and we need stories with kids of color by people of color, this seems to be an increasing problem in the industry and I'm wondering if it'll ever stop.

Love Grows Everywhere is a sweet story about a family who grows all types of plants and sells them throughout their diverse community. Their love is shown through the seeds and plants they grow, but then extends to all kinds of love. Tisha Lee’s illustrations are gorgeous and add to the rhyming text that Barry Timms has created. This is a wonderful story that reminds us that love really does grow everywhere. A beautiful feel-good book with lovely illustrations and wonderful loving message 💕 (The only thing I would say is that the text is very small - though I understand it may be easier to see in print form).

This rhyming picture book is more of an idea poem than a narrative story. Stanza after stanza, page after page, is where you would find love. It’s how you would see love. It’s even a bit about love hiding and needing to be found. Overall I can see this being a story time hit that used for years to come. However it’s not this reviewer‘s favorite story. The art is great and the story is nice it’s just not my thing.

Plants are a solid, child friendly, metaphor for love. And Timms isn't masking the comparison here. The text talks about love while the images are of highly stylized plants. It isn't a story, per se. More of a reflection on the idea. Sweet.
