This gave me even more appreciation for animals, as well as for the people who live and work at/on the farm.

The book was so colorful and fun and gives a different perspective to children that don't have the opportunity to live or visit a working farm!

Even if you have seen or been to a farm, I still think this little book just depicts it so well.

The illustrations were P E R F E C T L Y executed!

The Little Blue Puppy is a beautifully illustrated book about farm life through the eyes of a little blue puppy named Sky, an Australian Cattle dog. When Cammy, a new foal is born, Sky decides to show her around the farm. They meet all the other animals and declare themselves best friends. I love how Cammy's mom, explains why each farm animal is important because even though they're all different, they all serve different purposes. They need to work together to have a successful farm. My grandkids have visited a farm (their aunt and uncle live on a hobby farm), but they loved seeing these pictures. They loved looking for the mouse in each illustration, it was a lot of fun describing what was happening on each page. I enjoyed the story as well and thought the soft illustrations were amazing. This book teaches appreciation for animals, different lifestyles, and different responsibilities. It shows love, friendship and acceptance as well as working together. We also visited the author's website where she told us a bit about the animals and that they actually live on the family farm. My grandson has asked me to read "Sky's book" a few times over the last week. A winner in our household.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

The Little Blue Puppy is a heartwarming and life lesson teaching book for all children. This book would be especially good for children who love farms or even haven't ever been lucky enough to go to one before.
Not only are the illustrations beautiful and detailed but the lessons taught through this book are fantastic - responsibility, appreciation towards animals, habitats and the lifestyles of others, differences and uniquenesses as well as equality and respect.
The story is so sweet and I loved how bright, colourful and fun this book was as well as the animals themselves which were so easy to fall in love with!

The artwork in this book was STUNNING. I would recommend it just for that fact alone, but the story and characters were gentle and cute and I can see this being a favorite at bedtime for many youngsters.

4, you really need to do yourself a favor and let your eyes drink up this book, stars!

My thanks to NetGalley and DartFrog Books, Canoe Tree Press for an eARC copy of this book to read and review.

Beautiful illustrated book of farm life in the eyes of a little blue puppy named Skye. Meeting new friends can be hard and it can be fun. You will share Skye's amazement in all the different animals and the friendships that are to be had.

A great additional to a child's farm books.

A special thank you to Dart Frog Books and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review

The Little Blue Puppy is about a puppy named Sky who lives on a farm. She meets Cammy, a newly born filly, and they become friends.

I wish there was a little more story here, but the illustrations are beautiful!

A cute story about Sky (the puppy) who welcomes the farms newest member. Sky takes the filly around the farm and they instantly become best friends. This is such a feel good story and it allows children to see that we can be friends with anyone.

loved everything about this book, Sky the blue puppy and all the different animals showing the new foal around the farm throughout the day, the illustrations, the babbling brook and bubble flowers, all the pastoral pictures, Sky and Eva reminded me of my cat and dog, this was a little pit of paradise in a picture book

This book is beautiful. Each page has a full-colored picture almost like a painting. The story is about a blue puppy named Sky and her human companion, Charlotte. My only issue with this book is that sometimes the picture does not match the words. For instance, the paragraph about Eva (the kitty) has a picture of three hens, whereas the previous page has a full color picture of Eva (and a different paragraph). Thank you to Netgalley for giving me an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Little blue puppy lives on a farm. It's a cozy and interesting area. Each animal has a job, and there are new things to explore every day.

Typically I like to summarize the plot of books like this, but this book doesn't have any conflict. Normally I don't like books without a noticeable plot, but this one is really so sweet and comfy that I can't criticize it on that point. I'll definitely be reading this one before bed when I want something beautiful and kind, and I hope kids will enjoy it for the same reason.

"We are all good at different things, and those differences make us work well together."

Such truth in a quote from the book. It is sure to teach some life lesson to a youngster. I enjoyed the story as well as the illustrations. The book was so colorful and fun and it certainly will give a different perspective to children that don't have the opportunity to live or visit a working farm. Exposure can teach a lot of things and this book has so much to offer -- appreciation for animals, different lifestyles, and different responsibilities. Five stars.

I will definitely get this book for each of my grandsons. Easter will be a perfect time for this book.

I received a dgital copy of the book from DartFrog Books through NetGalley. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.

I would like to request Datfrog Books to kindly provide me another copy of the book as parts of each page were missing from the copy provided initially.

From what I could pick up from the initial copy, the artwork and the presentation are quite impressive.
I would love to read and give a better detailed review of the book if I am provided a better copy of the book. Thank you.

I started to read this book to my nephew but soon started falling in love with all the animals myself. One thing that really stood out to me in this book is when the mother house said that everyone on the farm may be different, but each job they do is important. In my opinion that is an important thing to teach kids, we might be different than one another but we are all important in some way. As I was reading the authors bio I noticed that her and I are both from Ohio. It's amazing to read a book by an author from your own state. Overall this book is well written and the characters make you feel like you're reading Charlotte's Web all over again.

The artwork in this book is gorgeous! It's a cute story that welcomes a new friend to the farm and highlights differences between the farm animals and how they all serve a different purpose.
I thought it was a bit more wordy than a young children's book should be. I also thought the illustrations could have lined up a bit better with the introduction of the farm friends mentioned in the book; for example, when Eva the cat and Gabby the horse are first introduced in the text the illustrations on that page aren't of Eva or Gabby.
Overall the illustrations flow well with the text on the page and I think it is a good book to introduce children to various farm animals while also giving a wholesome message about working together and the importance of one's differences.

This beautifully illustrated picture book about friendship was truly enjoyable to read. My son in first grade was enamored with the pictures as well as the sweet storyline about a puppy exploring it’s home and making friends, We both loved the added fun of finding the mouse in every illustration. The text is little for young kids to read, but it’s a perfect read aloud. Thank you to NetGalley for the advance copy in exchange for my honest review.

I will be buying this book for my daughter. I absolutely loved the message about diversity and differences and working together collectively. I also loved how it introduced farm life and animals at the same time. The imagery was beautiful as well!

This is a sweet tale of life on a farm from the viewpoint of the animals that live there. It is simple and to the point that makes it a great story for young kids from 3 - 6 years old. The drawings are beautiful and sure to help the young child listening to the story identify more clearly along with their imagination.
I received a free copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

This was a very sweet book about a puppy named Sky who lives on a farm. I loved the illustrations and thought the various animal friendships and the bond between the Charlotte and Sky was very sweet. It was a bit too wordy for a storytime book, but would be great for older kiddos learning to read. I will definitely be recommending my library purchase this since it has been published!
