Another lovely edition to the series. The illustrations and clear explanations make this book an enjoyable and easy read for beginners and those who need a bit of a refresh.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me this eARC to review. I did find this book very Wiccan based in its system but did enjoy some of the content. I practice an Earth-centered spiritual practice, so this was a useful book that I might reference again in the future.
*I did borrow this after it was published since I ran out of time here to download it*

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me this eARC to review. Sadly the content within this book is not good for my mental health which I did not realise at the time so I am very sorry for that! I will give this 3 Stars as I couldn't review it properly. Apologies again!

I cannot get over the illustrations in this book, they are so stunning! They really made this a very engaging reading experience.

'Earth Magick' is an excellent introduction to a wide variety of forms of magick, i.e. the Wiccan approach to magic. While I myself don't really ascribe to the Wiccan beliefs, I nonetheless found this an interesting read. The topics covered are wide, from tarot cards to crystals to runes and more. Due to the title I had expected a book that was a little more focused on working with the earth, with nature or with the element specifically. That is what I had hoped for, so I was a little disappointed when I didn't get that. (I did see that the book may have been renamed to fit more along with its content, so that's probably a good thing.)

As an introductory book to Wicca this is great, especially as the illustrations really aid the understanding. If one is not interested in Wicca directly, or is looking for something more earth-based, perhaps look for a different title.

Earth Magick is a beautifully designed book that contained a decent amount of earth based magical information for a starter witch. This book would be a lovely gift for a newer witch looking to connect with Green Witchery and know more about ways to bring earth based practices into their craft.

It's not a book that will offer much to well seasoned practitioners other than being a pretty coffee table book to appeal to an earth loving witch's aesthetic, but as a beginner/early book, it's quite nice.

Some of the information is illustrated as well which I liked. A nice addition to the book. Writing is easy to understand. A number of topics were introduced.

The Witch of the Forest's Guide to Earth Magick is perfect for beginners like me. It's all about connection. Dividing into seasons is a practical, informative and clear way to present the info. This book would make a great gift, especially paired with other magical items!

I cannot praise this book enough. Lindsay delivers quite a lot of information here in a very creative way. This series is a constant go-to for information. I often don't want to read through the details of something but need a launching point or brief snippets of information. This series does just that and has inspired numerous of my own grimoire pages. I cannot recommend it enough!

The Witch of the Forest’s Guide to Earth Magick. By Lindsay Squire, Illustrator: Viki Lester. 2022. Leaping Hare Press (ARC eBook).

Squire’s guide covers a lot of information; from the magic power of: elements, seasons, crystals, herbs, etc.; to the arts of divination and shadow work. I found the former to resonate more with me, as I believe there are healing energies in nature and food, but I probably won’t try out the symbolic spells and rituals laid out in the book. That said, this is interesting information that works well for both a complete reading of the work, or for quick references. The illustrations are very helpful as well. An index and Further Reading section is included.

Earth Magick is a great book for beginners to the Craft. It's beautifully illustrated and easy to follow.
The book covers lots of topics and I found myself saving some of the graphics to refer to later.
A beautiful book for the beginner Witch!

A great beginners or high-level reference book for everything from casting circles to herbal uses to crystals and beyond. Loved the layout - lots of graphics and artwork, easy to read explanations (no walls of text!). Nice list of additional resources at the back of the book. Definitely a must-have for any witch's library.

Kodus to the illistrator of this book, Viki Lester - the look of it drew me instantly and the stunning visuals continue throughout the book making it a very easy and pleasurable read. I read this in ebook format which took away slightly from the visual effect but I will be looking to get this once the print copy have been published.

The reason I tend not to read books on this topic is because I generally find that they can have a bit of a "negative energy" but Lindsay Squire has written this in such a positive tone which is in my opinion key to a book like this.

As someone who does not practice craft but has a keen interest in natural cycles, season and forces, this book is a comprenhesive guide, including infromation on common practices such as breathing exercises and medidations.

Looking forward to getting my hands on a physical copy of this book.

Thank you to the author, publisher and Net Galley for providing a free ebook ARC of this title in exchange for my review.

First off, I really liked the layout and illustrations in this book, they're a little bit folksy I feel they fit well.
The author has written a very thorough "How-to", and each section is very easy to follow. Definalty a good place to start if your interested in earth magick.

Lindsay Squire's, Earth Magic, is a gorgeous book that is perfect for those new to magick.

The concepts introduced can be applied to a lot of paths and traditions. It is also written in a user-friendly way so don't be intimidated if you are new to all this.

I really liked how there was a spell at the end of each element section. Also unique to this book was a section on resins and gums-I appreciated that.

There are sections on crystals, runes, divination, etc. but I enjoyed the addition of information on shadow work and being an empath.

And the herb grimoire had an index for what herbs to use for certain purposes. There will be times whne making a jar spell or maybe a money mojo bag and you want to mix-up the herbs or crystals a bit. This quick guide can help with that.

Overall, a nice, solid addition to a beginning occult library or as a reference book. Would also make a pretty gift for someone into witchcraft.

This book is about magic and things you need to know to perform it effectively. It covers witchcraft basics like spell and circle casting, then goes on to a detailed look at the four elements.

I love this book. The author makes the information easy to understand and she makes it very “beginner friendly”. The art by Viki Lester is amazing!! It really brings the book together and brings such calming and welcoming vibes.

Overall, this book is an excellent reference and guide to earth magic

This is a beautifully illustrated book that would be worth purchasing just for the full-page artwork that gives you all kinds of information about each topic. I am not Wiccan or pagan and was hoping for more nature-based seasonal content, but this is more along the lines of traditional introductions to tarot, crystals, casting a circle, runes, etc. There are short chapters with ideas on magick ideas for each season. The artwork is vibrant and beautiful.

I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review.

**Thank you for the ARC!! All opinions are completely my own.**

This is a well-written and informative guide for beginners and experts alike. I appreciated how the author weaved in personal tales and experiences. I also thought the herbs instructive guide and seasonal guide was easy to understand. The visual design of the book is incredibly engaging, colorful, and beautiful. This book is perfect for practical use and exploration.
