My thoughts: On the Way to Christmas is a contemporary romance that fans will surely love. My favorite story was Dashing Thru the Snow. It was hilarious. There is absolutely no faith message in any of them though two stories mention going to church at Easter and Christmas (twice a year). I enjoyed all 3 stories and recommend this for romance lovers and Christmas story lovers. Recommended. Preorder your copy now. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.

Take three stories, sprinkle liberally with Christmas magic, toss heavily with joy and laughter, and you'll have "On the Way to Christmas." Authors Sheila Roberts, Melissa Ferguson and Amy Clipston bring their Christmas novella A-game to these delightful morsels. I felt like I should be breaking out the hot chocolate, candy canes, and frosted Christmas cookies while I was reading, even though I read the book in July.

Readers who can't get enough Christmas anthologies should absolutely snap this one up. Fans of Roberts, Ferguson or Clipston will also enjoy this collection. I definitely recommend!

Thank you to Thomas Nelson, Sheila Robert’s, Melissa Ferguson, Amy Clipston, and NetGalley for a gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.

I am not usually a fan of shorter stories, but I will read ANYTHING Christmas! I had hoped these three stories would be connected, but that was not the case. Each is its own stand alone and they are very different from each other.

The first story was enjoyable. I liked the message and seeing the change and growth with our lead female. She showed that while it can be hard to make amends and apologize, even if it’s been years, it is better late than never to do so.

The second story was by far my favourite! A Christmas train?!? SIGN ME UP! I really enjoyed the characters, the setting and the story. I loved the many different friendships shown and it was overall fun and cute.

The final story was my least favourite. I liked the premise of the story, but did not feel any sort of connection to the characters and was not a fan of the writing style. I had the hardest time getting into this one and actually considered not finishing it.

Overall it was an entertaining book that I am glad I picked up. If you enjoy Christmas stories give this one a try!!!

All three stories will get you in the mood for Christmas, yet each is very different from the other.

We meet a mean girl reformed in A Christmas Do-Over. Or is she? Dashing Through the Snow is a whimsical story that will make you believe in second chances and Christmas joy. And in A Perfectly Splendid Christmas we see a big city girl and a hometown boy, and we wonder if they can get over this hurdle.

Grab a copy, sit and enjoy with a mug of hot chocolate while the snow swirls outside.

I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.

“On the Way to Christmas” is a three-in-one short story collection I enjoyed. I often lean towards three-in-one story collections like this because I feel I accomplished more reading than I did.

Amy Clipston's - It was great revisiting Splendid Lake while reading "A Perfectly Splendid Christmas." Amy Clipston has a way of creating characters who feel like real-life friends, precisely what she did when telling Kacey's story. Read this and meet Kacey as she tries to decide if she should give up the big city life in pursuit of love. Will love follow her? or Will she follow love?

Melissa Ferguson - "Dashing Through the Snow" was hilarious. Following Willow, as she mends her broken heart after an abrupt breakup from a longtime boyfriend seems, at first, to be heavy. Melissa Ferguson created a great scenario to get over a breakup and flourish with what life offers.

Sheila Roberts - "A Christmas Do-Over" is a sweet story following Darby as she makes amends with family and friends. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to look in the mirror and decide to fix what we do not like. That is what Darby does in this short story by Sheila Roberts.

Dashing Through the Snow

After Jonas, her boyfriend of seven years, breaks off their relationship, Willow Fairbanks takes a two-week train trip, before returning to her parent’s for the holidays!

You will not believe the characters that Willow meets during this fun and very interesting journey!

Could Oliver, the train conductor’s son, be the man Willow has been waiting for or will Jonas ruin her experience on the Christmas train when he shows up before the end of her trip?

A Perfectly Splendid Christmas
by Amy Clipston

Kasey Williams has left her life in the big city behind to help her older sister run her bakery in the midst of a family crisis. While running errands for her sister, Kasey surprisingly crosses paths with her former friend, Drew Murphy!

This is a good book. This book has three different stories involving Christmas. They all involve a mutual attraction between two people during Christmas. They each have the two people trying to blend their lives together after falling in love.

As soon as I saw Amy Clipston's name on this book, I knew I had to read it. She is EXCELLENT with character development and keeping your interest! I also enjoyed the first nouvella in the book. The second story was a little strange in my opinion, but I still read it and enjoyed the ending. This is a book of 3 smaller nouvellas and they are all sweet, clean stories about finding love around Christmas time. (I especially loved how Amy Clipston added a little "treat" from Splendid Lake in this one - a great addition!)

These are three very different Christmas stories that are sure to warm your heart this season! My favorite was A Perfectly Splendid Christmas by Amy Clipston and the main reason for the 4 stars. The first two stories were cute though!

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for a review and opinions are my own.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Three short stories that will put you in the Christmas spirit. I enjoyed all three stories which talked about a romance that occurred when the characters least expected it.

This book has 3 different stories by 3 different authors. I really loved each Christmas story. Each story is different, such a nice light read for Christmas. Each story had me in a winery Chrissy mood. Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC!

This is the perfect book to start off the Christmas season. It's three delightful stories that take place at Christmas time, written by some of my favorite authors. Each story is different. The first one, "A Christmas Do-Over" by Sheila Roberts, is about how a former "mean girl" can be changed from the inside out when she unexpectedly encounters God. Upon being fired from her job, Darby comes home for Christmas and is compelled to make amends with several people she grew up with resulting in the restoration of friendships. This is a heartwarming, sweet story of getting a new start in life and the value of family and friends.

The second story, "Dashing Through the Snow" is written by Melissa Fergusson, is somewhat more whimsical. Willow and her longtime boyfriend, Jonas, planned a two-week train trip on The Christmas Express, however, shortly before the departure date, Jonas breaks up with her. Willow, who is in possession of the train tickets paid for by Jonas, decides she'll go on the holiday excursion by herself. What a ride it turns out to be.! Willow has no idea what adventures await her as she steps on The Christmas Express. A delightful, captivating story! When reaching out to meet the needs of others, the blessings also come back to the giver.

The third story, "A Perfectly Splendid Christmas" by Amy Clipston, is a beautifully written story of second chances - or perhaps a "do-over" is a more accurate. description. Kacey has come home to help her sister, Dani, at the Morningside Bakery. Dani and family are going through a rough time and Kacey, a graphic designer, is able to help at the bakery and keep up with her regular job remotely. Her niece, Riley is in the children's choir that is practicing for the Christmas Tree Lighting Festival. What a surprise to learn her childhood friend, and high school crush, Drew, is the community choir director. As Kacey and Drew re=establish their friendship they, along with Dani's family are the recipients of a heartfelt Christmas miracle.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

In the Sheila Roberts story, former mean girl, Darcy comes home to rebuild her life and make up for her previous bad behavior. I Melissa Ferguson’s book, Willow’s boyfriend leaves her for another woman just days before they are supposed to go on a Christmas train ride. Willow decides to go on her own and finds romance on the way. Amy Clipston’s book, Kacey wants to go back to the big city, but stays in her small town to help her sister run a bakery. She reconnects with her old classmate, Drew. Do they give up their dreams, or compromise. A good read.
