Speed dating in reverse. A cute idea with a spin on modern dating. It took a little bit to get into the story and connect with the characters, but I am glad I stuck it out. It was a unique story and I really enjoyed it.

This book took a couple of chapters to get into but once I did I couldn't put it down. I read the whole book in 2 days once I got into it. I got so invested in each character but mainly Tamara and andys story. It is definitely worth a read and it's so well written. The individual story's that all tie into one just grip you and to top it off I love when books do a few months later bit as I hate not knowing what happens to the characters. This book did just that. I got to find out what happened to saffie milo and Tamara which made the end of the book so much better.

I didn’t mind this book. The second half of it was actually quite enjoyable. But the slow start really kept me from enjoying this book as much as I could have.

Saffie, Tamara, and Milo are all frustrated with dating. Saffie is sick of endless first dates with mediocre men, Milo is done feeling like nobody is “right” for him, and Tamara doesn’t have the energy for dating with three kids and an ex-husband who doesn’t pull his weight. The three work together on a small but fun magazine that has been in Tamara’s family for generations, and while they are all passionate about their jobs, they are thrown for a loop when Tamara’s cousin comes in and changes their entire workplace dynamic. The three then decide to just go all in and see what would happen if they signed up for what is advertised as a 24 hour dating agency - one 24 hour date with someone promised to be your perfect match.

I loved all three of the main characters. Tamara was an absolute badass mom who knew what was important to her and why she acted the way she did, Milo was hilarious and determined in finding his happiness, and Saffie had well structured character development that made me truly care about her. All three of them were unique, well written, and relatable. I cared about them and rooted for them once I had gotten to know them.

Where I had a hard time with this book was getting into it in the beginning. The first chapter seems interesting but did not carry through to the rest of the book and felt like an attention grab that didn’t hold me. It took me a good few chapters to know what was going on with each character and even longer to care. I did get there, but it took longer than I thought it should have.

Overall, I’m not mad at this book. The characters were well formed and I cared about them once I got to know them, and I was rooting for their love stories. It wasn’t my favorite read of 2022, but I’m glad I read it.

Thank you to NetGalley and to Head of Zeus for sending me this book for review!

Thankyou so much netgalley for the opportunity to read this. It was an okay read once you get into it, however I did find it pretty hard to get to that point so took me a while to finish the book and my time was not invested into this book.

I had high hopes for this book but it just was not for me. It was very hard to get into and to maintain all of my focus. The synopsis was really good but the execution was not.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

A fun cast of characters with a twist on modern dating. I loved the concept of the 24 Hour Dating Agency and the touch of mystery and matching that came along with it. I also really liked that the book focuses on the private struggles of all three of our main characters outside of work; however, for a brief time it does kind of feel like there’s a little much going on before we even get to the dates. Despite that brief concern, I did truly look forward to seeing how each of our characters would overcome their personal struggles and possibly find love. I would actually be really interested in seeing this 24 Hour Dating Agency through the eyes of another cast of characters as well.

Unfortunately, at the time of reading this I just honestly couldn’t connect with it. I will try again in the future and will review on other platforms - however for now, this is a DNF from me.

Thanks to NetGalley and Head of Zeus, Atria for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a light and kinda funny romantic book so with other words is this book a rom-com.

It contains family problem, new family dynamics, missunderstandings, humor, dates, love and love problems which is what I enjoy reading about in a rom-com.

The story was really good and I liked that it was told from 3 persons views. Even though I can't relate to the characters love life or lack of it it was kinda funny to read about the dates. I also liked how the three characters stories tied into the mainstory very well.

My favourite character in this one was Tamara, who kinda is the main character boss, and her journey.

If you want something light and funny with romance in it who really isn't like something else I have read then this book might just be for you.

I thought this was the perfect little beach read. As someone who has been through the trenches with internet dating, it was extremely relatable and everything was hit with a nail on the head. The characters were super cute and the chemistry was there and written very well. I enjoyed!

I read this book sporadically over the span of roughly a month. I found the plot very interesting and not at all similar to things I have read in the past, however, there were many plot lines to follow which made it difficult to keep track of. There were three main characters throughout the story and each had their own plot that tied into the main plot of the story, wherein the trio all enrolled in the "24 Hour Dating Agency" where they would be matched with someone for a 24-hour long date. The main character enrolled under a fake name for the purpose of writing a story and dragged the other two along with for the fun. I would like to repeat that the overall plot was very interesting and creative, however just not something that went well with my lack of attention span.

I enjoyed the quirkiness of the characters. Sometimes I felt like the writer was writing too many details in the book and it was just overload with needless information. But I did enjoy the book . Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC

Saffie, Milo and Tamara are friends and coworkers at a small periodical that focuses on covering sort of weird local news. Milo doesn't have the best track record of choosing men he dates but is determined not to end up alone. Saffie has been experiencing the hell of online dating after leaving her fiance practically at the altar. And Tamara's ex-husband who abandoned her and her kids is back in her life attempting to reconnect with the kids and with some major news to boot. When Saffie and Milo come across an ad for a new dating agency with a different kind of premise - they set up their clients on just one 24 hour date promising a soulmate level connection - all 3 friends decide to sign up but for extremely different reasons.

I rarely pick up romcoms but when I do I wish they all were like tHe 24 Hour Agency! I read it in basically one sitting and I adored the story, the characters and the ending. I highly reccomend this especially during summer time and especially for romcoms readers!

Sick of how their love lives are going, best friends and colleagues Tamara and Milo sign up for the 24 hour dating agency. Neither of them meets who they expected, but will it lead to true love for either of them? A fun read.

This was a fun story that follows three main characters in their 30s who are fed up with dating. I appreciated the concept of finding a match based personality, not appearance. The MCs’ journeys to find love are quirky and funny, while also feeling realistic. There was a good balance of entertainment and real emotion. There were also a few twists, so I was kept on my toes for a bit, but ultimately I enjoyed the satisfying HEA.

I loved this book. The 24 hour date idea was different and made the book different from your typical romance. Each person ended up with someone they weren't expecting at all, and it made the book so much better.
I loved that everyone got their happy ending.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced reader copy.

I loved this book! The characters, the pacing, the storyline…all of it. The 24 Hour Dating Agency is a perfect beach read and I highly recommend it.

I’m not sure what I expected from this book, but I came away absolutely delighted with the story. The 24 Hour Dating Agency follows three friends, as they agree to try out a new dating service that guarantees a successful 24-hour day in which they’ll meet their soulmate (or their money back).

What I loved about this book is the dynamic of the friendships, family and co-working relationships, as well as the fact the book dives deeper into the lives (past and present) of the main characters. It really helped me to understand and empathize with the characters. And left me sad to leave them at the end!

I highly recommend this read to those looking for a quick, fun rom-com.

Special thanks to NetGalley and Aria for the ARC. All thoughts in this review are honest and my own.

I tried really hard to like this book but it was just not for me.

I was not hooked in and it felt extremely cliché. The characters didn't feel realistic or likable and I didn't have a buy in for the story.

I honestly just didn't care about it. I would argue this wasn't really a 'romcom' either.. it almost felt like a slice of life?

This book was a great story about finding love blindly and learning to understand your quirks while also navigating life's changes. Each of the characters had their own hidden struggles in life, a divorcee, a character who wants to make moves in a career and another who is trying to beat their age clock. All three co-workers at a unique magazine that needs a refresh. With just enough twists and turns, while keeping characters relate-able and easy to root for! I loved this feel-good romance!
