I'm a very stressful person. I am always stressed for everything. This book was a great blessing for me.

This was a good and easy to follow devotional. Do you feel so stressed out that you don't know what to do>? Do you crave inner peace. This devotion is for you. I have not read/studied anything from this author before - and I will be on the lookout for her work in the future. I recommend this for a daily devotion. I felt that it was a perfect edition to my morning and evening routine (I always like to re-read and see how it applied to my day)

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read a copy of this book - all thoughts are my own.

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It shows us there is no wrong way to pray. It gives us tips on how to pray for those who think they may not know how. Thank you God!

This is such a great book of devotions. They were quick, insightful, and uplifting. Perfect for busy women to read in the morning, on the train, or before bed. I really appreciate that there was so much scripture in the devotions, as that’s something many Christian devotions are often lacking. I’d recommend this book to any woman who is looking for edification and inspired.

This was a very encouraging and uplifting devotional. I appreciated the ability to keep my focus on God and His plan for my life. This was a daily reminder to focus on the good, keep my eyes on the Lord, and hand my problems to Him. The scripture went along with the daily wisdom and the devotional was laid out nicely.

Which of us shouldn't be stressing less and praying more? This devotional includes 1-2 verses, commentary, and a one-sentence prayer. The scripture references used are from multiple translations from ESV to MSG. Each day fits on one page so you'd have no problems making this devotional a daily habit.
*I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher for my review.

I love devotionals so much. They are perfect for people that have a hard time with deciding what verses to study or those who are intimidated when they try to read God's Word. It's easy to get overwhelmed when you see this big and important book and you don't know where to start. Devotionals help break it down into easier to manage sections and give you wonderful guidance that goes along with it.

Life can get extremely overwhelming at times and stress surrounds you and you feel so lost. I'm experiencing this right now. My mother recently passed away and I'm currently taking care of my father who has stage four cancer. It is like I'm surrounded by mountains of stress all around me and there is no way out and I feel so alone. It's easy to get consumed by the stress but I'm trying really hard to turn to God for help. This devotional shows many examples of people in the Bible who were stressed out to the max and showing how they turned to God to help them. It's so uplifting to see other examples of people going through hard times like you are. Remember that God can help you just like He helped the people in the Bible. He is still the same all knowing and loving God that he was all those years ago. I can't wait to buy a physical copy of this book and open it up when I'm feeling particularly stressed and using it to help me understand God's Word better and help me relax and know that everything is going to be ok.

Thank you Netgalley and Donna Maltese for allowing me to read this beautiful ebook for free in exchange for an honest review.

“Each reading is designed to teach a woman how to live in God’s
freedom and reinforces the truth that with her focus on Him, she can reconnect with the power and peace to live a more wonder-filled life every day.” ~Introduction

Everyone of these devotionals comes down to this. Is it going to help you? Is the author who wrote it talking in your language? Does she get you? Sometimes I don’t connect with a devo but it’s usually because it’s not user friendly “to me”. And I’m going to say AGAIN, if you aren’t doing something daily then this will be a good start. And I promise that you don’t want to miss the blessing this will bring to your life. The reminder that you need Him and to refocus.
About the book:
Each day is one verse of scripture. Next, an insightful and helpful look at the stressors and then a simple unstated pray “statement” at the bottom.
This wasn’t hard or burdensome. It wasn’t boring. It really worked for me. Encouraged me. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a solid devotional. I hope this was helpful.

Stress Less, Pray More by author Donna K. Maltese is a beautiful devotional. The daily devotions, prayers, and affirmations are on pages with very few illustrations. The focus is on God and getting our anxiety under control. The writing style is nice and comforting. The devotions are thoughtful. I would highly recommend this. It gets a 5 out of 5 star rating from me. A copy was provided by Net Galley, and these are my honest words.

The perfect book for anyone experiencing more stress than joy. Maltese has a way with words to help readers take comfort in knowing that we serve an almighty God who is with us always, we must simply pray to Him and make our needs known. Look forward to recommending this book to my friends.

What a great way to start a busy day by reading a devotional in the morning and through the day. It gets my focus off work and back on God especially when I am overwhelmed.

The Pub date for this book isn't until July, but when I read the title, I had to read it now!!

Life is so stressful, especially for women, because we take on more than we should and feel responsible for everyone's happiness! I was a caregiver to my Mother for over four years, 24x7 care, and during that time she was my most important thing in life, but what I realized during that time, is that I completely lost myself because the caregiving was so all consuming. I didn't take a break for four years, nor did I pay attention to myself or God,. My Mom passed away three years ago and I have been trying to find myself every since. So this book was much needed and appreciated at this time. What I found is that I can find myself, if I just spend more time with God. I now spend time each morning with God and he provides me guidance. I enjoyed each scripture reading and devotion and will continue to reread each in this book as I find it brings me comfort and peace.

No one will ever know how much comfort this book has brought me.

I needed this book. These days are definitely difficult and trying for me. I was really stressed and feeling down for the past few weeks.

I find the compilation of these prayers really thoughtful and beautifully done.

The pages are so beautiful with minimal illustrations.

The best part is of course the affirmations written on each page. Definitely will need a copy of my own. This is the book that will stay next to me everyday.

Thank you, Barbour Publishing, for the advance review copy.
