Those of you with little ones…this is a *must* if you use Elf on the Shelf. A quirky little elf explains three ways to revive your elf after an elftasteophe (aka…someone touched the elf) 🎄It’s quite comical, too!

I know what book Muffin will be bringing for my kiddos this year! Since Muffin arrived (13+ years ago) he always brings the Owens kids a new book and this is the perfect book to continue that tradition! We would never touch the Elf but just in case. This book is adorable!!

🎄 If you have young children and you do the Elf on the Shelf thing, YOU MUST GET THIS BOOK!
🎄 The story and illustrations are adorable and quite silly. That elf is snarky! I love it!
🎄 This is a great book for the whole family to enjoy during the holidays. Adults will laugh right along with the kids… I promise!
Thank you @NetGalley and The Lumistella Company for an eARC of this book, which I have read and reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

What a great book to share with Elf believers AND with nonbelievers! I like how this focuses on everyday moments and the unavoidable (touching the elf)!

This is the perfect companion to your child's elf on the shelf! Absolutely adorable. With just the right combination of magic, mischief, and a few hidden in lessons of responsibility and good behavior packed in, this one will have the kids laughing out loud, especially due to the bright and very active illustrations.

This book was cute, but that is as far as I will go. I am not a fan of Elf on the Shelf. I get the message, but whey does there need to be a second inducement to be good. Isn’t Santa enough? So, in our houses we agreed – no elf on the shelf. However, for those that believe, then this story would be good to add for those elfastrophes that are bound to happen during the holidays.

Super cute children’s Christmas book! Perfect story for any adult who accidentally touches the elf in front of their children. Easy steps for the children to follow to get their elf back!

IN CASE OF ELFTASTROPHE is a fun read, and would be a great companion to the ELF ON THE SHELF because, let's face it, elftastrophes happen! And we wouldn't really want that to be the end of our scout elf's magic, right? This book would not only bring relief to anyone concerned about how to restore their scout elf's magic, but it's also engaging, fun to read aloud, funny, and interactive (just don't fall for the high-five, okay?). The elf narrator has a fun, zippy personality that is perfect for a Christmas elf. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the Elf on the Shelf tradition in their home or classroom, especially if their kids are the touchy-grabby sort.

Oh my gosh! If this wasn't the cutest story I don't know what is! This is a great book for children if someone has accidentally touched their elf on the shelf! It is funny, and reassuring that everything will be ok! There are three remedies to make sure your elf won't lose his magic! Seriously, this is a great one! Go read it!

What a great book! Definitely plan to purchase this title as a little gift from our scout elf to my children! Set up expectations that even though you should not touch the elf, there is a way to correct your mistakes- good parallels to life: don’t try to get in trouble but there’s always a way to repent!

My girls LOVED this! They love when their elf comes every year and to read this story had them smiling and laughing. I will defintely be buying a hard copy for us to enjoy over and over again!
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for my ARC in exchange for my review!

I read this book with my six year old, and we both loved it! My daughter loved interacting with the story and giggled at the elf’s antics. The illustrations were adorable. We will definitely be buying our own copy of this book once it is released!

5 stars indeed!
I absolutely love this book, and kids up to about ten years old are going to love it too. Not to mention
the teachers and the parents, they'll find it almost as much fun as the children will. So here's the secret
that's going to make Elftastrophe into all time favorite holiday (or anytime of the year) read. It's
simple really, all you have to do is turn into an interactive story. The first step is when the book says
"Don't Touch That Elf" which is said repeatedly, while telling you to say it louder and louder, that's when the kids jump into action, as you encourage them to do exactly as the book says. The next thing will be
"jazz hands," yep, this is where you teach the kids to do "jazz hands," if your not familiar look it up on google. When it says "an IV of hot cocoa STAT" that's when you pour your pre-made hot chocolate, the children will love the treat, especially if it's winter and cold outside. Oh, and by the by, cinnamon goes quite well with cocoa. When it says to "sprinkle a touch of cinnamon near your elf" have some on hand to pass among the kids to smell. Okay, I think you get the gist and can figure the rest out on your own. So, now that the secrets revealed, go find a bunch of kids and start reading already!

What a great addition to Elf on the Shelf! I know many children will enjoy this during the holidays. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review!

This is a great companion to The Elf on the Shelf. Accidents do happen and people touch the elf. I love that this book gives steps of what to do if someone accidentally touches your elf.

Adorable!! Loved the illustrations, the quick and fun content to keep the littles engaged and especially loved the suggestion to write an apology, what a wonderful teachable moment and skill set.

I don't do Elf on a Shelf, but I know so many people who do and this book is a great addition to the activities. It was cute and funny and I would read this to kids in my classroom just as a fun Christmas-y book before winter break. There are parts that require audience participation which is wonderful. Interactive read alouds are always a win. Thank you #netgalley for giving me a copy of this book.

Fantastic! So much fun for families who have an Elf on the Shelf.
Thank you to The Lumistella Company and to NetGalley for this pre-pub review copy.

This book was absolutely fabulous. This is a very cute book to give to friends with children or even for your own children. It shows all the things that happen if you touch the elf on the shelf. This would be the best book to give children when the "elf on the shelf" returns for the holiday season!

In Case of Elftastrophe is a really cute book about what to do if someone moves your elf! I liked the humor in the book and the fun illustrations. I would change remedy #2 though....parents will not be happy if their child starts sprinkling cinnamon everywhere!
