I love books by Willow Rose and this one was a great one! There’s a lot to unpack and I couldn’t do it justice, so what I will say is this… There was a girl who has a party while her mom is out of town The next day she thinks her biggest problem is cleaning the house before mom gets home, but now they find a dead body in the pool and here’s the kicker she looks exactly like the girl who had the party Meg! In another home in Cocoa Beach Eva Ray is talking to her oldest child who now wants to be called Ali instead of Olivia. As a loving mom she wants to get her head around this until she ask questions but like any teenage female child she gets annoyed and out of sorts and when either races so you don’t have a gender? Holly X claims “I do have a gender!“ and on and on until the phone rings her cell rings and finally they send over Matthew to personally get Eva Ray. They also have two other couples that’s involved in the story and eventually be connected in one way or another Eva Ray will also take a trip to Toronto and the whole time the guy she's“Not dating“ and who is also writing a book about her tags along needless to say Matthew isn’t happy about it at all. This book was so good and I thought I knew the ending when I was 75% done but I had no clue it was so good! I love Willow roses horror books but she really has great stories in the Eva Rea series are usually listen to them on audio but whether you read it on Kindle or listen on audio they’re always thrilling and have a surprise ending. I loved it! I received this book from net galley and the publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review but all opinions are definitely my own.

You Better Run is a psychological thriller. Willow Rose keeps the reader guessing how the story will end. I highly recommend this book. This is a great time to add Willow Rose to your auto-buy list of authors.

I am not familiar with this author so I had no expectations apart from the 5-star reviews that now seem to be hand picked. But I couldn’t get through the first chapters.

It starts from the point of view of the teenager and it sounds like it was written by a teenager. So it might be perfect for young adults but I am definitely the wrong audience for this. I didn’t waste my time to find out if it gets better. The first chapter is the one that people read and decide whether to buy the book so the author really missed it.

I have been reviewing so many books this year, that I cannot stand the politics, or the over hype of a book being a nail biting thriller. However, I am finally taking my stand, I refuse to read one more politically correct story! I own thousands of books that I have purchased, I am not dependent on free books, therefore, I refuse to give a review for a book that begins with liberal politics that I don't find humorous in the least. My time and opinions are important to me, not every one has the integrity to give honest reviews, I will not give any other kind.
Thank you #Netgalley

This is the latest Eva Rae Thomas installment from Willow Rose. In this one she examines the story of twins and also gender issues. She is working at her home base of on the beach in Florida and working closely with Matt, her best friend and father of her toddler. This is quite the involved tale and there are murders galore and twisting circumstances. This one will keep you guessing almost until the end. It is well written and full of suspense.

I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my own honest opinion.

I received a copy of You Better Run by Willow Rose from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This novel was okay, but I was not captivated and felt no connection to the characters or the plot. The summary seemed interesting, but the novel’s pacing was uneven and the characters were kind of boring. Just not my cup of tea.

Eva Rae is one of the most interesting female FBI agents in print. You Better Run has a writer following Eva Rae as she works a case that involves twins. This information is withheld in the beginning of the investigation and leaves the Cocoa Beach Police unable to make an arrest. The story is told by chapters in Then and Now. I had no idea who the killer was in this well told story. I was interested after reading the first few pages and the story held my interest right up to the last page. This is another exciting book from Willow Rose.

I received an Advanced Reader's Copy from Buoy Media through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are completely my own.

When Meg finds a dead girl in her pool, she is shocked to realize she looks just like her; she could be her twin sister... but Meg doesn't have a sister...
This is told in a dual time line, in multiple POVs, but it was easy to follow. I did find that the omniscient first person narration did not make any sense, but that's a personal preference (one sigle person can't see all when they are not there). It was fast-paced and gripping, and I could almost figure out the final twist, but not quite.
This is the 11th book in the Eva Rae Thomas Mystery series, but the first one I read, and yet I was not confused, as the story could stand alone. I would be curious to start at the very beginning of the series to see what else the author has to offer.
I received an advance review copy for free from NetGalley and Buoy Media, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was pretty disappointing after I enjoyed #10 in the series so much. Comparatively speaking this one felt rushed and contrived. It follows the same kind of writing style where there are multiple characters and jumps in time that all make sense in the end. The main character is an FBI agent with several kids and an ex who is still a big part of her life. She gets called into help figure out a case by the local police chief. I really enjoyed the previous book (my first read by this author) and was excited to receive the next from Netgalley, but this fell short for me and I probably won’t continue on. I will give kudos to this book for one thing, though. It contains the first conversation I have ever read between a child and a parent where a child explains to the parent what it means to be non-binary.

I was lucky to receive an advance copy of You Better Run by Willow Rose from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. I thought this book was a great read and held my interest to the very last page with all the twists and turns. I haven't read any of the other books in the Eva Rae mystery series and found it wasn't necessary however I will be going back and reading all the ones I've missed out on. Do yourself and start this early in the day as you will not want to put it down until you finish it.

This was a really fast read and kept me interested throughout. The problem is that it was really poorly written and I had trouble ignoring that. I thought the gender issues weren’t really handled well and many people might be offended by that part of the story. All in all- it’s a fast read that will keep you entertained if you can ignore the writing. I’m surprised there are 10 more before this.

This book was an interesting read. I haven't read any of the other books in the Eva Rae mystery series and jumped right in with this one. Overall, there were some good plot twists and it was a very fast-paced novel, which I liked. However, I felt like it was lacking depth and seemed really rushed and amateurly written.

What I liked:
- The fast paced writing of this book
- Eva Rae was a super likeable character

What I didn't like:
- The gender dysphoria plotline with Eva Rae's daughter. It felt like this was included just to make sure this book is addressing current issues and remaining relevant versus actually contributing to the story itself.
- The jumping around between different timelines and POVs was confusing at times. I felt like maybe the book could've stuck to one or two POVs and made it easier for the reader.
- The plot twist in this one was a bit too unbelievable and far-fetched for me. If you've read this book, you'll know what I'm talking about.
- The writing style. It seemed like this book was written using voice to text. Kind of like it was someone's exact thoughts versus thoughtfully choosing words and phrases.

Thank you to Netgallery and Willow Rose for the ARC copy of this book!

YOU BETTER RUN is full of lots of twists and turns. Suspense thrillers are one of my favorite genres to read, and this one certainly fit that bill. I would most certainly recommend this book to others.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for my honest review.

Well, of course, Willow Rose has done it again! You Better Run kept me on the edge of my seat, reading, until the wee hours of the morning. I was a bit disappointed that Matt is still being kind of a jerk, though he was a bit better than the last book.
After an insane party, Meghan wakes up to the huge mess that she and her friends have made. While cleaning, she looks over and sees a body in her family's pool., When they go to pull it out of the water, they're all shocked to realize that it's Meg's doppelganger. None of this makes any sense!
Meg's mom is shocked to arrive home to find
FBI profiler Eva Rae Thomas, along with several police officers, all over her property. Now everyone wants to know who was the dead girl and why was she even there, in the first place?!
Of course, Eva Rae is dealing with the normal issues that come with being a mom and the ups and downs of being a single woman.

You Better Run by Willow Rose is #11in the Eva Rae Thomas series. Willow Rose is one of my favorite authors and I’ve read lots of her books. They are always thrilling reads. You Better Run doesn’t disappoint. It’s compelling from the very beginning.

Meg wakes up after a night of partying, a party she threw without her mother’s knowledge as she was out of town. She finds a girl dead in the pool. The thing is the dead girl is her! How can that be? She doesn’t have a sister, let alone a twin. When Susan, Meg’s mother comes home and finds out what happened she disappears. Why? What does she know? FBI Profiler Eva Rae Thomas is brought in to find out.

Multiple story and time lines make it a little confusing at first. There are many surprises as the story is reveled bit by bit. This is a psychological thriller you won’t want to put down. Lots of twists and turns in this twisted and bizarre story. It keeps you guessing all the way through. A ending that will leave you shocked.

I received a free ARC from the author, Netflix and the publisher Buoy Media and I would like to thank them for the chance to read this gripping thriller.
